    Summary

    Back in 1924
Malcolm Monroe called her a Whore
He dirtied her name to the whole town
A poor disgraced young Jenny Brown
    Then one night in ‘25
Was the last Monroe was seen alive
    Malcolm's neighbour heard him scream
And then they found him in the stream
They looked for Jenny high and low
    Certain that she killed Monroe
As they fastened Jenny to the pyre
She maintained he was a liar
'A curse upon you all!' she cried
And in the flames young Jenny died
Now Jenny's old house still stands there
    Only enter if you dare
But tell a lie like old man Monroe
Then Jenny Brown is sure to know
She may make you burn, or make you drown
For no secret’s safe from Jenny Brown

It was just another basic salt and burn case. Something simple and relatively risk-free to keep the two teenagers occupied while John investigated something a bit more dangerous in the next town. As far as 19 year old Dean was concerned, it would be a quick and easy hunt and the creepy poem didn't mean a damn thing. Some whiny dead chick would never guess his most messed-up forbidden secret.
