Dipper was sitting on the roof, holding his knees to his chest. He wanted nothing more than to fall asleep right then and there but before he could, he heard a yell.
"Dipper! You're still binding! You've overdone it and you know you can't sleep in it." He heard and he let out a frustrated huff. As much as Dipper loved his 'sister', he wanted to ignore her.
"I'll be fine Mabel, you know I've done this before." He mumbled, not noticing the sky fading to grey as he fell asleep.
"Yes and usually Levi fronts to help take it off before also going to bed. You know you shouldn't do this." Mabel said and Dipper groaned. He flopped backward as a yellow triangle came flying over, its single eye bent down.
"Kid, who are you talking to?" It asked, confused. No one can get through when you're in the mindscape.
Dipper lifted his head before letting it fall back down.
"I'm asleep and dreaming of a giant triangle, lovely. Due to my....lovely...parents I have people that live in my he-"
"You have MPD?" The triangle asked and Dipper rolled his eyes.
"DID now actually, dissociative identity disorder. Who are you supposed to be?" He asked, annoyed. The demon held a hand out.
"Bill Cipher, at your service! I came to strike a deal." It said mischievously. Dipper stared for a moment.
"...uh huh. And what exactly do you want?" He asked before Bill snapped its fingers.
He was in a room to his own design, binder gone but instead left with a flat chest.
"You're in the mindscape kid, I'm going off what you'd like. And I'll add some people." It snapped again and suddenly Dipper felt himself being squeezed tight.
"Dip-Dop! I can actually hug you! Kinda." Mabel said with a blush before Levi cleared their throat.
"Let's pay attention to the floating demon why don't we? Watch any deals Dipper, he was in the journal for being notoriously evil and impossible to trust...all though that was scratched out and rewritten a few times. I wonder what his deal is." Levi muttered as Bill rolled its eye.
"Not he kid, it. I'll be honest, I originally wanted to possess you and destroy the book and work on the portal underneath the shack buuuuut. I've met someone like you before. I heard what causes it. I didn't wanna do shit to the guy but I'm especially not doing it to a kid. So, I'll make you a deal. I'll grant you anything you want, anything at all. But you have to do something you won't like." Bill said before Levi stood protectively in front of Dipper.
"You are NOT touching him, I will tear you apart brick from brick." He threatened and the demon held its hand up.
"Not like that! Not like that! Axlotl no. I'm a dream demon, I can kinda see what's going on around here and just by looking at you kid. You have to take care of yourself, that's your end of the bargain. Eat, don't overdo it with the chest, take care of yourself. Do we have a deal?" Bill's hand lit up in blue flames as Dipper looked at it.
"...anything I want?"
"Anything you want kid."
"What if I wanted to let everyone in here live on their own? Be their own person if they want to. Their choice to stay or go?" Dipper asked as the two nearby glanced at each other.
Was he serious? He could have anything, and he was doing that? He could've gotten John and Mary in jail but he was trying to help them.
"That can be their choice whenever they want to go, but they can't come back in," Bill warned and Dipper quickly shook the hand that was out. He shuddered at the feeling of ice flicking across his hand.
"Deal." He said with a smile and the demon ruffled his hair.
"I have to go, Stanley's going to wake you up soon!" Bill said before tipping its tip. "The universe is a hologram, buy gold bye!" The demon said before popping out of existence.
Truthfully it was still there, watching to see what would happen. It was worried, the last person he saw who had that didn't end up too well.
Dipper looked back at Levi and Mabel who smiled before hugging him.
"Oh we are so going to come see you immediately, you got it, mister?" Levi said and Dipper let out a laugh.
"I get it. I'll see you guys soon?" He asked and Mabel squeezed him.
"You know it!" She chirped before everything suddenly hit vivid colors as Dipper shot up in bed. Wait, bed?
He guessed someone had taken over to lay him down. He took a deep breath before laying back down, squirming for a second before feeling something against his back. It was another back.
"Dip-Dop! You're up now!" Mabel said happily and squeezed him tight as Dipper tried not to cry.
She was real, she was actually real
