Suprise Visit

Summary:

An ARAR decides to pay her STCR girlfriend a surprise visit!

Work Text:

“I need those reports soon, Eris. You and I both know the Kolibri’s will be on my ass like flies on shit if this doesn’t get to me yesterday.” the phone was muffled through Laurel’s spot in the wall, however the Storches' response gave the reply away. The ARAR smirked to herself, knowing her plans might just make Demeter’s day.

“What do you mean ‘We can’t’? It’s your own damn department! I swear to god I-” Demeter paused to take a breath before continuing, “You and I both know you’ve got the time right now, and that it’ll only be my ass if you don’t get it on time. So please get this done now before anything else.” The phone is hung up with force, a deep sigh emanating from the poor replika. She leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, giving Laurel the perfect moment to strike.

She quietly slid out from behind the wall panel and lowered herself down, inching closer with the smallest of smirks on her face as she inches down, closer and closer, until-

“Hey, flower. Is this your attempt at being sneaky?” she says rather teasingly as Demeter smiles and kisses her lover, the trap being sprung on Laurel instead. As she tries to retreat, the stronger Storch grabs and pulls her onto her lap, smiling proudly at herself.

“Yes, I did try to surprise you. I heard through the vents something was upsetting you, and I thought that I could be a distraction, of sorts. Apologies if this wasn’t what you wanted.” a small frown forms on Laurel's face, met with a gentle hand against her cheek.

“This is a great distraction, flower. Don't worry about it at all, I’m better now that I have you in my lap.” she leans into a kiss from her lover, the warmth easing any stress Demeter had from the phone call. The smaller ARAR curls up on her chest, head tucked under her chin.

“Goodnight, Demeter.” Laurel says rather plainly as she drifts off, leaving the Storch to rest in comfort. Her girlfriend acted like a weighted blanket, pulling her off to the land of sleep too.
