Summary
In the face of their strained marriage, Min Yoongi agrees to an exclusive and unorthodox couple's retreat in the mountains with his husband, which boasts new-age sexual wellness, holistic emotional healing, and unrivaled spa services. Away from the demands of city living, Hoseok is clinging to the hope that the combination of practices will stitch back together whatever it is that they lost, while Yoongi wonders if the sum of their parts is only as great as a weeklong getaway and a few yoga classes.
The trip begins to take jarring turns for the worse when Yoongi can't seem to find a moment for them to exist unwatched. Glass buildings, the ever-present retreat leader with the cold smile that never fades, his partner who Yoongi swears is following them wherever they go, wide eyes appearing in the dark around every corner. The drinks make him sick, he sees blood that isn't there, the guests seem to be disappearing into the night without word, and not one other soul seems to care that it's happening.
As Yoongi's reality begins to crumble around him, and his trust in others is ripped away, he's forced to discern what's real and what's a lie before the twisted truth catches up to claim him and Hoseok both.
