He took the brunt of the blow; anyone John employed to pick up the work that Gary left behind, were soon scared off by Simon’s cold, dead glares or sneers or off-hand comments. All except one: Kyle Garrick.
And through Garrick, came Johnny.You wouldn't be able to tell it, if you saw his shabby clothing, wrecked hairstyle and shit-eating grin, but Johnny MacTavish is a control freak. When he watched everything around him crumble and slip through his fingers, he tightened his fist around what little else was left.
Makes you wonder how a man like Johnny ever learns to loosen his grip.
