Farmer and Elliott have a history of romance that seems to be indisputably finished. Of course Elliott misses them, but his biggest concern is not getting farmer back for himself, but saving them from an abusive, draining relationship with Shane. When the long forseen tragedy happens, will Elliott be able to live with the guilt of not doing enough to prevent it? And will the life give him second chance?SPOILER VERSION
Farmer broke up with Elliott to be with Shane - not out of love, but because they felt like Shane's mental health would collapse if he doesn't have them. Elliott sees how draining this relationhip is for the farmer and tries to help, but his emotions blow up and he says a lot of hurtful things. When shortly after that farmer falls into a coma Elliott blames himself and tries to take care of the farm in their absence. Deep sense of guilt and fearing for the life of the person he loves cause his mental health to deteriorate, so when farmer comes back both of them will need a good portion of fluffy comfort - but not before some angst happens.
