Chapter Text

3rd pov

Llyod had been testing magic with Ido, tossing around meteorites and level 60 hurricane as usual, until he had a sudden realization when using holy magic.

Ido while in the middle of a spell notices this :"Huh. Hey Lloyd why are you not you moving !? Is something wrong !?" 'what could possibly be distracting him? I should go check on him, lord know if its some new magic that he just thought up what chaos would insue' 

Ido then quickly flies towards Lloyd in order to see what was distracting him so.

"Hey Lloyd what-" he was quickly cut off by a loud "NO WAY NO WAY NOOOOO WAAAAY There is no way you can do that, nobody even knows if it's safe" Grimm had said loudly.

"But if it's never been done then how can it be not safe and besides even if it was it probably couldn't hurt me" Lloyd responded 

"Even so who know the results of it will be, it could very well summon the destruction of the world" Grimm retorts

"Umm what are we talking about ?" Ido says in confusion 

"Well, Lloyd is trying to mix demon and angel magic with null while teleporting to see if he could break through dimensions" the angel explained 

"And I am trying to tell him it's far too risky, we aren't even sure how to do such a insane thing it's utter unknown!" Grimm yells still trying to convince Lloyd not to

"Relax, I promise if anything starts to go wrong we can stop, ok" Lloyd promises

"Ya mean it" Grimm questioned

"Yep" 

"*sighs* ok well do it"

"Yay, ok ido I'll need you to help chant, the others well stabilize it so it doesn't leak into the kingdom and I get in trouble" 

"Um ok"

Then with the golems, Majin, and angel in toe the two begin chanting their respective sides of the spell that Lloyd had seemingly already planned for.

'looks like idos chanting is getting better' he notes

The spell begins as intense waves of mana begin overflowing out the two, and if it weren't for the others keeping the mana at bay it would have likely caused massive amounts of destruction.

Soon two large balls of pure light and darkness begin to mix while energies of all elements of magic begin appearing around it

'Almost there' Lloyd thinks

As they all begin fusing and mixing it begins to lose shape.

"Lloyd we can't keep this up!" Grimm yells

But the pleas fall on deaf ears as Lloyd continues  not wanting to lose such a powerful spell, and as it continues it eventually regains its from yet again.

'perfect. Now, nows our only shot'

He then teleports all of them however the spell being rather unstable it loses its form in the middle of the teleportation causing a powerful calamity.

CRASH

Lloyd then opens his eyes seeing he and ido have been reborn in another world

In an unknown forest 

Lloyd pov 

Huh, what going on ? Where did the others go and why- I'm a baby and so is ido, have we been reborn? But I don't remember dying and we look too similar to our old bodies, the only notable difference is a few physical oddities but otherwise we are too similar to our old bodies, this must have been the spell !

On Ido's side 

eh,Eh,EH!,EEEEEEEEEEHHH!. Wh-wh-WHY AM I A BABY D-DID THE SPELL DO THIS, why it doesn't make sense and why does Lloyd look different why does he have horns ? What's going on ? And where did the others go ?

3rd pov 

As the two try to figure out what is going on, Lloyd takes to notice to his apparent mother's dizziness.

'Oops forgot to suppress our manas' 

He then quickly corrects that by suppressing both he and Ido's mana to the point where people could assume they are very weak.

After he does that his mother gets up and walks away confusing him a bit before he notices her horn.

'Ah so she was a demon, I guess that her behavior wouldn't be that of a human. But that would also makes us demons( or at least half) which means we feed off of mana'

After making that realization he goes through a rapid growth rate out of nowhere turning himself about 10 again.

"I knew that would work" he said to himself out loud before tapping Ido on the head and supplying him with mana causing him to go through the same growth.

"Eh, how did you do that" Ido says dumbfounded 

"Well since we are demons we now can feed on mana so I simply fed myself and you my mana" he says casually.

"You fed yourself your own mana? Geez only you Lloyd" the clone sighed

"So what now Lloyd?" He asked uncertain what to do.

"I'm not sure maybe we should look around, I'm sure we will find something" the magic maniac responded.

And so the two wandered around using a dead bear as cloak until finding a settlement of humans.

"So there are humans here, huh was worried they didn't exist here" Lloyd had said.

"Well not all of them" Ido said pointing to a demon child helping carry logs.

"Oh wait, hey Lloyd do you think they will allow us to stay!" The boy with white hair said very excited about the prospect of having a proper bed.

"Well I'm not sure look at how they are looking at her" the prince said pointing out the looks of disdain some of the people have while others look in fear.

"They clearly don't like demons here so-" The suddenly stopped talking as he looked above up curiously.

"Huh, Lloyd whats- Aah!" Ido left out a very manly and in noo way girly scre upon seeing the elf looming over them.

"Stand ready fo- who are you two and what are you doing here ?" the elf says and after taking more notice at them she says" and what are you ?"

"who are you two and what are you doing here ?" the elf says and after taking more notice at them she says" and what are you ?"

"Hello, I'm Lloyd and we would like to st-" Lloyd was cut off by Ido quickly covering his mouth.

"Sorry but you wouldn't mind us speaking in private for a bit ?" Ido says with a bit of sweat running down his forehead. She then gives a small nod before aiming her staff at us in preparation.

"Th-thanks" he says very visibly nervous.

He then pulls Lloyd of to the side before whispering to him " What are you doing !?" Rather loudly.

"What do you mean, I'm asking to stay here." Lloyd responded.

"But it's obvious that they don't like us and she looks like she wants to kill us so why would yo-" He is cut of by Lloyd responding.

"Yes but she hasn't, and they already have one here so they won't immediately try to kill us."

"*sigh* Do you really believe they will allow us to stay?" He says looking his twin in the eyes looking for confirmation.

"Well it's better than staying out here with the bugs." He says causing Ido to slightly shiver in discomfort for a bit before nodding.

The two then walk closer to the elf before Lloyd says "Hello I'm Lloyd and he is Ido and we would like to stay here please." He says as sincere as possible.

The elf simply stares at them for a bit before muttering coldly "ok".

Later with frieren

"I'll be honest I would expect YOU to be the one who would allow them to enter of all people." A man with light blue hair says smiling at frieren.

"Well Himmel that's because I'm not sure whether they are demons, their horns are odd and that's without the fact that they only have one."

"What if the other one was cut off?" Himmel asks in response.

She sways her head left and right "No, there was no stem for the other on to sprout form, I checked." She then takes a deep sigh "And that is where the second issue comes from, aside from being physically different, they acted different far more...human like. Ido, the white haired one, acts far too innocent and kind like an actual child and Lloyd, the blue hared one, isn't as much so but seems to have an unhealthy obsession with magic."

"What if they are not fully demon..." He responded confusing frieren.

"What do you mean ?" Frieren asks.

"Well half-breeds do exist so it could be possible that they are not only a demon, but also human." He says

"Well it's possible but that would require a demon to want to breed with a human, which should be impossible, however your theory would explain their noticeable differences."

Himmel then smiles at me.

"Hmm, what ?" 

"Its nothing"

"Ok, well for now we should observe them."

Later with Ido

'well im done helping the chief, i wonder what i should do now?' Ido thinks before noticing a couple kids playing around.

He then runs towards them excited and says "H-hey can i-" the kids parents then go towards their kids and drags them away scared of him "play" he finishes quietly and noticeable sad.

He then walks back to the chiefs home, the place where he and the other demons are staying.

"Hey welcome ba-" The chiefs wife was saying before getting cut off by Ido.

"Hi" he says as he rushes straight to he and the others room trying to hide his upset look on his face.

As he rushes in his room he quickly head to his bed clearly upset by what transpired today.

"Whats wrong?" The chiefs daughter asks him.

"O-oh , it's nothing I'm fine, but what are you doing here?" He responds quickly wiping the tears from his eyes.

"I was teaching her how to fly, since I was curious how the mana works here and because she was pestering me about it." Lloyd says from above.

"Oh yeah, look at this !" She says before focusing really hard and beginning to float before descending back down.

"Wow, great job." I said.

"Thank you hehehe." She responded.

"She has been making suprising progress but still requires practice." Lloyd said as he descended down from the roof.

"Hey, you wouldn't mind if I joined r-right?" Ido said nervously.

"Sure, you can join." 

"Yeah, cmon Ido let's go." The girl said enthusiastically.

She then dragged them along outside for training as a certain demon watched from shadow.
