Summary
Jackie should be a ghost, a name lost to the cold, a memory buried beneath the snow. Instead, she’s still here — adrift, numb, moving through the days without purpose. She isn’t a leader anymore, nor a true survivor; she isn’t even sure she’s real. Shauna won’t accept that. She watches, waiting for Jackie to crack, to react, to feel something. Jackie tells herself it doesn’t matter, that nothing matters anymore. But Shauna has never been one to let things go, and in the vast wilderness, neither of them knows how to stop.
