    Hitoshi Shinsou has never been much for caring, not since he got kicked off the force. You had to be a cynic to make it in his world. They called Los Angeles the City of Angels, but he knew for a fact that was a lie. His job now, as a private investigator, was to expose the misdeeds of others on behalf of the spiteful and jealous.

    But when his old commanding officer is shot dead in some alley in what appears to be a mugging gone wrong, everything changes for the intrepid PI.
