Chapter Text

Our world is truly a magnificent, it has so many wonders and mysterious of the past, and the inspiring development of the future of our world with our technology. But... there will always be one truly magnificent wonder of our world, that has been on our planet since the beginning of world. The wonderful mysterious creatures, called Pokémon. There everywhere, high soaring in the clear skies, deep in the bottom of the blue ocean, even on the ground whether in the natural landscapes or with cities and other homes with humans. Humans and Pokémon, have been together since the start, they help each and co-exist peacefully. There are many types of Pokémon, with different forms and skills called types, and with some able to evolve to a new evolution, they change to different forms and some with different types.

Some Pokémon help with our daily lives and jobs, others relax alongside them just as friends or even to some... part of the family. But there's also some who battle with Pokémon as battle partners called trainers. They work together to battle other trainers to win, displaying there combat skill, growth and bond between trainers and Pokémon. Our world have also grown and develop so much that there are many thing wonderful, unique creations that helps our Pokémon in battle but there's also things from the past that help with our relationship and strengths with Pokémon as well. Like... Oh! but there goes me and my mumbling again. I'm sure all those things will be explained soon, ha ha.

'Coughs'. Anyway it's about time we start, and I should've already introduced myself. My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm from the Kanto region, one of the many regions of our world, and this is my story how me... And well, also my friends became truly great trainers, and I guess in a way... True heroes for both people and Pokémon.

"Beep, Beep, B-!" The alarm stop as a hand sleepily turned off the button and a figure rolled back into bed. "Mmm, just five more minutes." a young 15 year old sleepily said. It's still early, and to him he still wanted to sleep a little bit more.

"Izuku, dear. Breakfast is ready." His mother, Inko Midoriya called. Izuku didn't respond, to him could have breakfast later, right now he needed to-.

"Dear if you don't get ready you never know if you got in. I mean the official letter came in this morning." Inko called out teasingly sing out. And with that the young boy immediately jump out of bed and rushed downstairs. A bright hopeful smile appearing on his face.

"It's here!" He frantically exclaimed as he arrived downstairs and saw his mother next to the dinning table with some pancakes and milk dished out, as he got closer he saw the official UA Stamp on the envelope she was holding.

His mother smiles as she gestures for him to sit down and eat breakfast. "Yes sweetie, the Dragonite mail service delivered it this morning." His mother said as she then lets out a small giggle gently placing the palm of her hand towards her face, covering her mouth. "That Dragonite sure was a gentle Pokémon, despite being strong and they sure can fly fast and so far." His mother said as Izuku smiled at her while thinking, Dragonite such a fierce Pokémon that would be best for battle, but its speed and its amazing ability to travel far beyond to other regions makes it a good deliver Pokémon as well.

"Anyway what does it say." Izuku said excitedly hoping he passed. UA is considered the greatest school to all types of people in the ways of Pokémon. From powerful trainers, gym leaders, elite four members and even amazing Pokémon champions. They also great at raising students in other areas. Such as, Pokémon researchers and professors, Pokémon coordinators, teachers and so one. It truly is the best school in the world.

Izuku quickly ate his breakfast, despite his mother worrying for him to eat more slowly, then sat down on the couch and open the letter to reveal a small silver disk with a button on it. Confused, he hesitantly pressed the button and a light blue holographic screen was projected. Then the static on the screen cleared up, showing... ALL MIGHT!?

All Might was a true legend, he was the greatest trainer in the world, holding the title of World Pokémon champion for many years, only to drop it due to a unexpended announcement of his retirement, which shocked everyone. There have been rumours it was due to some huge battle, well whatever happened is so secretive that no press in the world knows about it.

There are also rumours he would be teaching at UA but I guess now it's been proven true. As he was thinking, suddenly he heard All Might signature laugh, making him jolt a bit and focus his attention back to the holographic screen,

"Young Midoriya, congratulations. We looked over your test results, and I am happy to inform that you have passed the UA exam! Your score on the written exam was most impressive with your knowledge, and as for the practical with the rental Pokémon for the practical battles. You clever use of analysing your opponents Pokémon and working out the best counterattack was really impressive. That is a true quality of a promising trainer. All of us in UA look forward to your arrival. We welcome you to UA." All Might exclaimed proudly while while Midoriya was staring at the screen with wide eyes.

He just couldn't believe it, he actually got into UA, the greatest Pokémon school in the world, it's known to train and teach all sort of things to create many powerful trainers of all kind. Gym leaders, elite four members, and even champions. They also great at teaching students for many other careers like Pokémon researchers, professors, inventors, Pokémon coordinators and so on.

In his thoughts, he heard All Might's voice again, snapping him back to attention.

"By the way, in the letter there's also your ticket for the special cruise to travel to the Kalos region, which is going through and new development so be looking for that. There's also instructions for how to travel there by heading to through northeast gate to route 16 and then head south. Being part of a trainer is to travel all over the world, so its important you know your way around." All Might then laughed loudly before covering his mouth slightly. I could barely hear what he said as he was quietly mumbling but its sounded like, 'although that part of traveling-', 'he sure is strict on students', 'I pity his new class'.

Those barley audible words left Midoriya with a surprised and a slight frown, but then removed as All Might spoke some finally words.

"Well anyway Young Midoriya, we are all excited to help guide and teach you and help you start your Pokémon journey, get thoroughly prepared as you have one week till the cruise takes off." He said proudly letting out his signature laugh once again before the screen turn back to blank light blue and shut off.

Midoriya was practically crying a river, soaking the whole couch.

"Oh my dear Izuku, I'm so happy for you", his mother also cried out, hugging her son tightly. Both where crying there eye out, resulting in the whole house almost flooding.

They eventually stopped (not until the house was almost a aquarium) and Izuku immediately starting preparing and buying everything he would need, he just couldn't wait for the week to passed.

Not long, a week has already passed. With Midoriya with a backpack and a suitcase, outside his home in Saffron city ready to head to Vermilion city to board the cruise.

"Bye mom, I'll come visit when we have holiday breaks", Izuku calls out waving and smiling.

"Ok, dear please be careful", his mother says worrying, noticing shedding tears by Izuku.

"I will mom." He exclaimed and started to walk to the gate to route 6 and heads down, careful not to encounter any wild Pokémon. Soon he arrives at Vermilion city.

"That wasn't that bad, now where is the port", he mumbled looking at the map. "Should be down to the south."

He soon arrives at the port a show the cruise attendant his ticket and gets on board and guide to his destinated room.

He then explores the cruise noticing many different people and Pokémon relaxing and having fun on the ship. He arrives at the main deck and see's a pool along with some people enjoying relaxing, there's even a Brionne creating multi coloured bubbles and singing happily. He smiles at the sight.

There's so many Pokémon, I can't wait to see Kalos and go to UA. Izuku thinks, not noticing someone till a familiar voice shout out.

"DEKU!" He immediately turned around and becomes frozen in shock and fear.

"KACCHAN!", Izuku panics, seeing his childhood friend, Kacchan, or rather Katsuki Bakugo, the two both lived in Saffron city and used to play together when they were kids. Bakugo was always very skilled in Pokémon, he had good knowledge and despite his personality, he always knew how to win battles. Winning... That all what Bakugo loved the most, he always wanted to win and be the strongest trainer in the world, just like All Might.

Kacchan, I knew he was going to UA. I'm not surprised he passed with his experiences. I'm just shocked that I encounter him this soon, I just wanted to arrive to UA without any-

"What do you think your doing here, you dam nerd!" Izuku thought cut off as Bakugo shouts back to his attention, right up in his face.

-Problems... Izuku thinks as he starts stuttering. "Umm, he-hey Kacchan. I just also passed the exam, and um I wanted to go you know. To also become a powerful trainer"

"Ha you think you can become strong, useless Deku" Bakugo says mockingly grabbing the the collar of Izuku shirt and was about to yell at him before the ship horn blowed, signalling the ship leaving. This confirmed with an announcement on the cruise PA speaker.

'Attention to all passengers, the ship has left Vermilion docks. We will be arriving at Kalos in around 4 days, we thank you for join our cruise and are here to provide all your needs and hope your experience on this trip is to your expectations.'

Bakugo lets go of Izuku collar with a 'tsk'. "Watch yourself, Deku. I'm going to absolutely destroy you at UA." He exclaimed, then sending Midoriya a menacing death stare that enveloped him in utter fear. "You got that useless nerd."

Midoriya nods, Bakugo staring at him for a good second and abruptly turning.

Midoriya lets out a huge sigh, almost collapsing to the ship floor. It could've been worse, at least he didn't yell at me this much... Surprisingly... He thinks as he explores the ship inside to get some food.

'All Might's Kommo-o easily blocked Endeavor's Incineroar's Darkest Lariat. This insane, All Might's has only lost one Pokémon. While Endeavor already down to his finally Pokémon, what a true champion!' The announcer commented as Kommo-o and Incineroar exchanged blows.

"Kommo-o, let's finish it now you think. Use close combat." All Might proudly exclaims as his Kommo-o scales rub together, blasting a purple light coloured sound wave so powerful it creates a huge dust cloud. Once cleared, it's revealed that Endeavor's Incineroar as been knocked out, officially winning All Might the match.

'And once again folks, All Might portrays another sweep less victory!' The announcer enthusiastically exclaimed, as the crowd cheers roared as All Might did his signature pose with his fist raised up high laughing proudly.

"Ha ha, I always smile proudly with my Pokémon hard work. To battle no matter what. I say to all inspiring trainers, keep going and you can be a amazing trainer to. HA HA HA." All Might exclaims proudly with his bright smile...

Izuku pauses the video there on his Rotom phone, now back in his room at night in his pyjamas ready to for bed, but couldn't sleep due to excitement.

He's smiling in awe of the old video of All Might match with an elite four member, Endeavour. He can't wait to meet him and hopefully get his autograph.

All Might is so cool, I really hope I get to meet him at UA. I have so much I want to ask him, I hope I can become a strong trainer like him one day. Izuku thinks staring out to the night sky, putting his phone into his desk on the side and getting in the bed slowly falling asleep thinking.

I can't wait for the start of my adventure, he thinks as he drifts of to sleep as the cruise steers to future.

In a dark room, a figure stood still it gazed focused.

"Ahh.. This is the is the time, to finally move forward", it speaks as it walks out to face a screen.

"To create a true world for all"

Next few days where all a blur to Midoriya, he spend most of his time in his room studying and watching old All Might matches, not really going out since there's not much on the cruise expect for the pool and drinking stand where they served berries smoothies with a friendly Mr Mime that uses it psychic powers to help mix the smoothies and other drinks and even uses icy wind to help chill and make shaved ice. This was mostly due in fear of running into Bakugo again, but for the last day of sailing he decided to leave his room just to relax a bit.

That Mr Mime is a Galarian Mr Mime right, Midoriya thinks as he sips his chilled smoothie and sits on a seat under a beach umbrella. Just relaxing he lets out a sigh of relief as there nearly at Kalos harbour in Coumarine City. He then looks at his rotom phone, it hovering in front of him looking at the Kalos region map.

I think the best course of action would be to and take the train to the further end of Coumarine City, then go through route 13 with Kalos Power plant then I arrive at Lumiose City and it should be fine from there, he thinks mumbling out loud a bit as he place his a hand on his chin, deep in thought. The difficult part would be to go through route 13 with wild Pokémon but I bought a good amount of repels so I should be fine, man a travel on the first day just to prove yourself, UA really is serious.

He soon finishes his oran berry smoothie and gave was about to place it on the side to hand back to a member of staff when he leaves but then what looked like a light brown Raichu riding its huge tail like a surfboard floated near him used it psychic powers to lift his empty next to it.

"Um thanks Raichu", a bit surprised by the Raichu sudden appearance an action. "Rai, Rai", it responded happily as it floated away with the cup back to the smoothie stand happily giving the cup back to staff member and the Galarian Mr. Mime. Both of them smiling joyfully, causing Midoriya to smile as well.

That's also an Alolan Raichu from the Alola region, wow there are so many different Pokémon here, imagine what it will be like when we arrive in the Kalos region. I also heard that UA helps allowing all students to travel to all the regions for projects and events with other schools. I really can't wait to get there.

Midoriya barley containing his excitement and thoughts when he get's startled with the cruise ship loud horn that jolts him making him fall out of his chair.

"Ow..." Midoriya says as he rubs his head sitting up when the cruise speaker is on for an announcement.

Attention all guests, we have finally arrived in the Kalos region in Coumarine Cit, please slowly make your way to the exit of the ship but do take your time to not cause any traffic jam in the hallways. Make you have all of your belongings, if you lose any items please speak to the lost of found department in Courmarine Cruises. We hope you enjoy you time in Kalos.

Immediately after that Midoriya bolts up putting his Rotom phone in his pocket and going back to his room to gather all his things putting on his backpack and pulling his suitcase towards the exit and eventually leaves the cruise looking around in the small port before walking towards the main town area.

"Courmarine city isn't that known for being big other than the gym leader here, though it is quite and peaceful at least", he thinks as he walks towards the train station to board the train to the other side of Courmarine city. It was a short train ride that only lasted around five minutes till the train arrived.

Midoriya left the train station and focus his gaze on the city's gym. I wonder if UA will allow us to battle gym leaders of all different region, maybe even other powerful trainers.

Midoriya soon heads to the route 13 gate before arriving at route 13 and gets greeted with a gust of sand dust in the face, as he squints his eyes trying to get use to the sudden change from environment and fish around in his backpack for a repel and sprays it all over him before placing back in his bag and walking through the Lumiose Badlands.

Wow, the Lumiose Badlands is as barren as they say, but at least the powerplant looks cools. Midoriya thinks, taking a good look at his surroundings noticing the diglett's and Dugtrio's digging by, not noticing him and the one's who do stay clear away.

Probably due to the repel, he thought walking through the dry terrain wanting to get to UA as quick as possible, remembering the whole thing with the All Might's poorly hiding the whole strict journey to travel alone without much help.

I haven't seen Kacchan at all I wonder if he somehow got ahead of me or he's behind... Nope no way he would every let that happen. Midoriya kept thinking with his thoughts not being away of his surroundings, unintentionally stepping on a purple fin of some kind.

"GARRRR!" A loud roar echoed throughout the Badlands as a huge Garchomp rosed out of the ground, disturbed from its nap and glaring barring it teeth to Midoriya, who could only be frozen in absolute fear.

"Um hey Garchomp... Uhh sorry for disturbing you I'm just going to leave you back to your nap and we can just forget this every happened... Right?"

The Garchomp made no attempt to let this go. "RARRR!" The Garchomp lifted it's fin with it's claw which was enveloped in a light green clawed shape aura and slashed down towards Midoriya who just barley dodged.

Midoriya was panicking having barley dodged the Grachomp's dragon claw quickly makes a run for it, the Garchomp right on his tail.

I just need to make it to the route gate to Lumiose city and I'll be good but... What if it's follows me into the city, it seems really strong so I don't want to cause any problems or endanger anyone... I don't even have any pokemon to fight back and even if I did, the Garchomp seem way to strong. What do I do, What do I do, What do I do, What do I do...

Midoriya was panicking, mumbling his thoughts as he ran he saw in the distance the stairs down to the gate to Lumiose City but goes a different direction, not wanting to bring anyone else into his problems. After a while, he turns around once it get's quiet, noticing the Garchomp is gone and slowly stops.

Did it gave up? He wonders as he looks around but suddenly a faint rumble in the ground and he notices small dirt stones bouncing gently and his eyes widens in realisation, but its a bit to late as the Garchomp suddenly rises from the ground under him, having use dig to sneak up on him, and cause him to fall backwards hard on the ground, wincing in pain.

Midoriya gazes up too the Garchomp towering in front of him, his fin raised up in a light green claw shaped aura, preparing to use dragon claw on him. He closes his eyes injured and scared.

Please someone help... He soon get's cut off from his thoughts as he hears a soft hit as he opens his eyes to see the Garchomp turning it head to the supposed attacker, a blue pokemon holding on of it's fore-paws, with a determined look.

Is... that a Riolu? But they don't live in this area, it's far from it's natural habitat. So, is it someone else pokemon? He looks around trying to spot it's trainer but see's no one.

"Ri Ri" It cried out rushing forward fast, a body outlined with a light blue aura and charges towards the Garchomp jumping to hit it with quick attack in its face, but barely makes the Garchomp move as the Riolu keeps pressing forwards using quick attack trying to push forward.

The Garchomp barley bothered directed it's dragon claw attack towards the Riolu knock it flying back towards the ground.

"Riolu!" It cries out landing hard on the ground in pain, badly damaged and somehow gets back up injured determined to keep fight and keeps using quick attack to run around and attack the Garchomp by ramming in using quick attack and attacking from the distance using vacuum wave, both moves barley doing any damage.

Midoriya was slowing getting up looking at the battle while thinking... And mumbling as usually.

That Riolu attacks are barely doing any damage, it doesn't seem that strong and if only using two moves like that it might be newly hatched or something. If that's the case where's it's trainer was it abandoned here or something... Either way, that Riolu is not going to last long, I wonder why did it save me was it looking eager for a chance to battle or did it felt pity that even if it was weak it decided to step in.

Midoriya kept watching the battle the Riolu movements getting slower as it gets tired and still reeling from it's injury early. Should I take this chance to leave...?

Suddenly the Garchomp manage to hit the Riolu with another dragon claw causing it to once again to get smashed into the ground, but this time it barley was moving. Only showing feeble attempts to weakly get up.

"Ri...Ri." The Garchomp was towering over the injured Riolu preparing another dragon claw to finish it off. "Lu..." The Riolu weakly cried out eyes barley gazing at the Garchomp that was about to land it's attack.

Midoriya lost all thoughts as he rushed forward towards the Riolu grabbing it and rolling out of the way just before the Garchomp landed it's dragon claw in the ground and slowly turned to face them baring it's teeth annoyed with all the interruptions.

Midoriya was holding the weak Riolu in his arms protectively as he turns to face the Garchomp still kneeling on the ground with a scared but determined expression. "Get away, if you want to hurt this Riolu. You... You have to go through me!" He shouts, determined to protect the Riolu, to help it like it helped him.

"GARRRRR!" The piercing roar of the Garchomp as it opens it mouth and a light red glow was shown and getting bigger, and soon it launched a flamethrower attack towards both of them. Midoriya closed his eyes and turned his back towards the attack clutching the Riolu not to tightly, hoping to at least save the Riolu. But then a blue ball of energy was fired towards the flamethrower attack. Creating a huge explosion that caused Midoriya who was holding the Riolu to be flown far, crashing to the ground.

"What was that!" Midoriya shouted out confused and looks around only to hear something land right of front of him protectively. Midoriya looked in front of him and saw another pokemon that looked similar to Riolu but taller and bigger and also instead of the dark blue fur it has yellow fur with a blue fur chest.

"A Shiny Lucario!" Midoriya yelled out shocked and a bit starstruck and surprise on why the it was here. Maybe it's this Riolu's friend.

He then saw that the dust and smoke cloud was clearing as saw the Garchomp approaching again rushing forward and jumping up high and soaring down, with it's body covered in a light blue dragon shaped aura soaring straight down towards them using dragon rush.

"Lucario, jump under it towards it stomach and use bullet punch", a voice called out. "Rar", the Lucario raised it black fore-paws that glowed a sliver light and it rushed forward in great speed and jumped to launch multiple fast punches towards the Garchomp's belly. Causing it to stop it attack and recoil in pain and get punched with a hard punch from the Lucario, which slammed it mid-air towards a cliff creating a huge mark surrounding the Garchamop against the cliff wall.

The Garchomp falls down to the ground, before weakly getting up and turning and using dig to get away, retreating. Midoriya just stared in shock of what just happened, how this Shiny Lucario managed to take down the powerful Garchomp with just one move. The Lucario slowly turn towards them, it gaze focus on Midoriya then back to the injured Riolu in his arms.

"Um thanks for saving both of us. Is this Riolu your friend?" Midoriya asked as his stood up, gazing at the Lucario.

"That was really brave and foolish young man, but I do owe you my thanks for helping protecting my Riolu", a voice said behind him as Midoriya turned around and saw a blond skinny man around fifty years old riding and Arcanine come forward, wearing nothing particular with his white t-shirt and green baggy trousers with a belt holding his Pokeballs and a black backpack on his back.

"Um your welcome sir, so I'm guessing this Riolu is yours?" Midoriya ask holding out the injured Riolu towards him as the blonde man gently takes it from him holding it carefully, a worried expression on his face, obviously concerned for it.

"Yeah, technically. This Riolu hatched from an abandoned egg I found not to long ago and looks up to my Lucario as a father and mentor figure. So I've been raising it, though it really hasn't been that long before it hatched" the man said holding closely as his takes out a Pokeball and point towards his Lucario, who has been keeping his gaze towards Midoriya, making him curious and a bit uncomfortable.

The blonde guy notice this I had a thought but dismissed it. "Lucario, return", He said holding up it's Pokeball as it fired and red light towards his Lucario, which enveloped him and return it back to it's Pokeball.

"Um sir, if I could ask what where you doing here anyway", Midoriya slowly asked, causing the man to be caught of guard.

"Well first my name is Toshinori Yagi, but just call me Toshinori not sir. Second, I was... Um just training out here, yeah I was also letting my Arcanine get out for a good run", Toshinori cough awkwardly as his Arcanine looks like it is sighing at the response.

"Well, young man I can ask the same with you being here, especially when it seems you don't have any Pokemon with you?"

"Oh um, I came from Courmarine City with a cruise from the Kanto region, I got accepted to UA academy and I'm just traveling there", Midoriya said nervously. "And with the whole no Pokemon on me, well I was hoping to get one from UA and well I had a lot of repels on me just in case but I accidently didn't notice that Garchomp's fin in the ground and accidently stepped on it, I'm sorry it my fault your Riolu got hurt, I know I can't make up for it but..." Midoriya went on quickly very nervous and embarrassed for causing trouble.

"Woah, woah kid it's fine relax", Toshinori was shocked at the boy's rambling holding his hands up. "Besides, young man it's not really your fault Riolu got into the battle anyway. As we were...Training, Riolu heard a roar and rushed over before I could've stopped him, it's always a bit shy but the way it rushed over I think Riolu wanted to protect you"

"Really..." Midoriya was shocked that a supposed shy Riolu rushed forward like that just to save him.

"Anyway young man, what's your name?" Toshinori asks, snapping Midoriya from his thoughts.

"Um it's Izuku Midoriya si- I mean Toshinori sir", Midoriya said nervously.

Toshinori chuckles. "Well young Midoriya, I was very impress with your act of bravery. It is clear to me how you truly care for Pokemon, with that and your impressive knowledge to get into the famous UA academy I have high hopes that you been an amazing Pokemon trainer and maybe even a champion. So good luck young man, I still have something I need to do but first I must take Riolu to the Pokemon Center. So take care Midoriya and I hope you do well"

Toshinori finished his speech with gently guiding his Arcanine to Lumiose City, speeding off holding on to the injured Riolu who was slowly gazing at Midoriya as they both speed away.

Midoriya was standing there in shock and a sense of pride and hope rising in his chest as he holds it. He believes in me, you know... He did look familiar, especially his Shiny Lucario...

Midoriya shakes his head and looks determined as he quickly rush to the gate to Lumiose City. Well I shouldn't dwell on it to much I still need to get to Lumiose City and to Route 16. Midoriya thinks as he rushes to Lumiose City.

Lumiose City was truly an amazing sight, as one of the largest and second most populated city in the world, it truly lives up to it's expectations. It had many different shops for clothes and items. The street busy with people and both Pokemon, there was also a few Gogoats as a taxi service. It truly was amazing.

Midoriya marvelled at the sight before getting back into focus. I'm sure I can explore another time when I need to get items, for now I need to find the Lumiose gate to route 16. Midoriya thought as he took out his Rotom phone and looked at the huge map of Lumiose City, and looked worried.

Woah, Lumiose City really is big... Well I'm sure it's not hard, maybe I can order a Gogoat taxi... No! I'm sure this test is to be independent as we possible can for trainers need to travel. I can see where I am now, so I'm sure I can find my way.

Midoriya walked around Lumiose City, trying to follow the map and also taking the sights he didn't notice a girl his age walking by him as he unintentionally crashed into her, causing both of them to fall down.

"Oww", the girl voiced as she rubbed her head as Midoriya did as well, quickly recovering and standing up and look to see a brown haired girl with pink cheeks that looks close to his age on the ground.

"I'm so sorry", Midoriya hold out his hand towards the girl "I was trying to get around the city and I wasn't looking to where I was going".

"No don't worry it's fine", the girl grabbed his hand as he helped her up. "I also wasn't paying attention as well, it's really hard to navigate this city isn't it?", the girl asked smiling brightly which cause Midoriya to blush a bit and stutter.

"Umm y-y-yeah it r-rea-ally is a b-big c-city. Can I a-ask where you-you are g-goi-going?" Midoriya was trying to calm himself. This is the first time I really talked to a girl so closely.

The girl smiled brightly, unaware. "Oh yeah I need to go shopping for some things and I got lost afterwards. I'm trying to find the route gate to route 16. I'm entering UA academy", Midoriya eyes light up when hearing that, his nervousness quickly vanishing.

"Oh me too I was actually heading there now", Midoriya was happy to finally see another student heading there as well and it seemed the girl was as well as she her smile grew brighter.

"Really than can we go together, I feel like it would be easier that way." The girl hold out her hand. "My name's Ochako Uraraka by the way, what's yours?"

Midoriya got nervous as he hold his hand out to shake hers, blushing a bit again. "Oh it's Izuku Midoriya", they both shake hands as Midoriya pulls up his Rotom phone showing the map. "Well I just been following the map here, the gate to route 16 is at the northeast of Lumiose City, why not use your Rotom phone it makes navigating a big city like this way easier"

Uraraka looked down nervously, "Oh um I actually don't have a Rotom phone... I was just...relying on a plain map I got from the shop..." She acted a bit embarrassed to admit it.

Midoriya panic upon witnessing this, frantically waving his hands in a reassurance. "Oh don't worry it's ok. Umm.. lets just head over there, we don't want to be late"

Uraraka suddenly lift her head up, her smile coming back. "Yeah let's go, lead the way" Midoriya smiled at the response and started leading the way to the route 16.

Both of them chatted friendly on the way, getting to know each other and also take in the sights and also the many constructions and marked off areas.

"Wow, there's lot's of construction happening around here. I know Lumiose City is always looking to improve but this is another level", Uraraka commented gazing at the close of areas, there were even some Gurdurr's and Conkeldurr's helping build.

Midoriya took notice of this to. "Yeah, apparently a company leading an urban redevelopment plan for the city. The company aims to make it so both people can be more connected to Pokemon and making sure Pokemon can live easier and in harmony in the city." Midoriya smiles at the thought. "The already started mapping out sections to start the project in different areas."

Uraraka beamed at the plan. "Wow, that sounds incredible, I can't wait for it to be finish." Both of them smiled, as they walk through the busy city, excitedly chatting away.

Route 16 seemed very peaceful, Midoriya and Uraraka could see a fishing shack next to a small pond with platforms to walk across to the other side. Midoriya looked at the map. "Apparently where in the southwest of route 16, we just need to head north and we'll be at UA"

"I wonder if we can fish here", Uraraka ask as she was looking at the pond. "It says here we can, it's a nice popular sight for fishing despite the small pond and thanks to UA it became more popular", Midoriya answered, he hoped that he could go fishing since he never try to.

"Well let's go then, we still don't want to be late and miss our chance to get our starters", Uraraka sped up to the path north, Midoriya following quickly behind her, trying to catch up to her.

"Oh sorry, I got too excited. Anyway Midoriya you seem really to know your stuff", Uraraka said slowing done as Midoriya was panting, managing to catch up to her.

"Well-pant- I do study a lot", Midoriya breathed slowly, relaxing his breath. "I really want to become a strong Pokemon Champion like All Might."

Both of them was now walking side by side, Uraraka smiled at him. "Wow, that sounds like a great dream. Since your a great trainer and all did you bring any Pokemon? I know we can get starter if we applied to, but we still can bring our own."

Midoriya rubbing his head sheepishly, blushing a bit. "Well I actually didn't really own a Pokemon, my mom never really caught any Pokemon as she went for a quiet life with just working in a big company back home"

"Oh what about your dad, I'm sure he has a great job and has a really strong pokemon to help you catch one to bring here", Uraraka said, smiling.

"Oh um yeah my dad...", Midoriya trailed off, looking to the ground with a sad smile as he walk. Uraraka quickly noticed and frantically apologised.

"Oh I'm sorry if I said anything to personal, you don't have to tell me." Uraraka was feeling guilty, bringing something that personal. But, Midoriya looked flustered as he smiled again.

"Oh don't worry, it's fine to be honest I don't know my dad. I never met him before and I don't know what he's doing", Midoirya smiled, "Though whenever I ask mom she always diverts it so I don't really care that much."

Uraraka looked happy she didn't upset him. "Oh well still it seemed personal so sorry I pried into it". Midoriya smiled back.

"Well how about you did you bring any Pokemon?" Midoriya asked curious, as then Uraraka moved her gaze a bit embarrassed.

"Well yeah, but it's not that strong as I found it as an egg and hatched it...", She then looked determined. "But, that's why I'm also excited to go to UA to get a another Pokemon friend for her and train both of them to be really strong"

Midoriya eyes sparkled in anticipation. "Really can I see it?"

Uraraka smiled as she took out of Pokeball from her backpack. "Sure come on out Cleffa!" She said as she gently throw her Pokeball out, which then opened up releasing a white light, that move to ground which soon cleared showing a very small cute pink Pokemon.

"Clef, Clef", the Cleffa said excited as it notice it's trainer and jumped into Uraraka arms, showing it's affection.

Midoriya looked at this scene and smiled in admiration. "Wow, Cleffa is so cool." Uraraka smiled sheepishly, blushing a bit from the compliment.

"Really, but she doesn't know that much moves until it evolves", Midoriya still smiled. "But still, once it evolved it becomes a useful support Pokemon. It also can learn a large amount of Pokemon moves, it also has a good solid defence and really good special attack. It also doesn't take that much to evolve, and..."

Midoriya went on his mumbling, voicing his thoughts which slightly creeped out both Uraraka and Cleffa. "Um... Midoriya?" "Cleffa?"

Midoriya suddenly stopped out of his thoughts, and blushed in embarrassment. "Oh sorry, I really like studying Pokemon, and seeing how they can be the best in battle."

Uraraka smiled, "It's fine, I think it's really cool. In it's own way..." Uraraka left off. "Clef, Clef"

Midoriya smiled, no one really said that before. Whenever Midoriya tried to voice his thoughts and give advice to the children at pre-school when they where playing with Pokemon all he got was mockery words like 'freak' and 'werido'. That lead him to not really have any friends and be bullied a little while but eventually stopped as we all got older and more mature. Bakugo never really did stop mocking him even calling his notebooks on strategies and Pokemon useless, such giving him the name 'Deku', someone who can't really do anything. Though he still admire him, as he's always been smart in battle and always focus on winning, he always won every practice battle we did in school.

Midoriya snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Uraraka say "Cleffa, return", returning her Cleffa to her Pokeball and placed it in her back bag. She then gestured to Midoriya to in front of them as they finally mad it to UA.

The academy is huge with the building and gates surrounding it almost taking up the entire land. Midoriya could only see the front of the school with the gate surrounding it and the green seasonal trees around them. He could barley make out the the mountain in the far distance behind it.

I pretty sure that's where the Kalos Pokemon league is. Midoriya thought as Uraraka started to run off ahead and called out to him. "Come on we don't want to be late."

"Right", he yelled back excited as he rush to catch up to her once again and entered UA, excited for his new life at the academy.
