Chapter Text

Vanzilla was being driven through the road; Mrs Rita Loud was driving with her son Lincoln next to her at the front seats. Lincoln was giving a dejected sigh as he was looking at a photo on his own. A small going away party at his best friend Clyde at his house before the journey.

"Come on Lincoln... It won't be that bad... You have a chance to meet new people and make new friends..." Rita was saying trying to reassure Lincoln with a forced smile on her face but Lincoln just looked down; his focus on the photo.

"Having to leave the people that I do know because things got too out of control at the house... That I can't stay here because of my own well being..." Lincoln replied causing Rita to frown as she then cleared her breath.

"It's only temporary. Until we can have things straightened up at the house. Don't worry; your sisters will learn how much they took you for granted and much they need you. How to live more peacefully in the house. You will like it at your Uncle Steve's house." Rita then told him and Lincoln didn't exactly believe it but didn't say anything more.

They saw the 'Welcome to Middleton' welcome sign and they had almost reached their destination; Rita finding her younger brother's house in a nice little neighbourhood. Lincoln sighed looking at the house; "My new life starts now..." Lincoln muttered as he stepped out of the van; Rita doing the same and getting Lincoln's suitcases from the back of the van.

"I see that you haven't convinced Lynn to give up on that museum relic yet." said a deep and somewhat commanding voice as there was a tall muscular man whose size towered over the both of them. Lincoln cleared his breath and Rita greeted the man with with a smile as they came over. The 'little brother' wasn't so little when you compared the sizes of Rita and Steve.

"Hello Uncle Steve... Thanks for taking me in..." Lincoln said putting on his best smile at the massive man.

"Lincoln. I always thought that a household with 10 sisters was no place for a boy to grow up. Seems that your folks finally agreed with me." Steve then told him as Rita cleared her breath.

"Sorry for the inconvenience about this and thank you for agreeing to this radical new arrangement... Until we can get things sorted..." Rita then told Steve who put on a smile.

"No trouble at all. Gets kind of lonely at the Barkin bachelor pad. You all take care back home and tell Dad that I say hi." Steve replied as Rita then kissed Lincoln on the forehead and said goodbye; red in the face Lincoln was as he waved goodbye to her and was welcomed inside by Steve.

So far Lincoln was adjusting well to staying at the Barkin house; no need to make a mad dash to the bathroom or fight over the TV remote. Despite his tough demeanour; Steve was quite chill as a guardian as long as you knew not to misbehave.

Then came the morning where he was starting at his new school; all the new people to make a good first impression. Lincoln got off the school bus and looked at his new school: Middleton Elementary school. With his backpack; he recalled the words that Steve gave him before he left:

"Listen Lincoln; school is a cruel unforgiving playground. You are probably thinking that you already know that... As someone who teaches teenagers at high school; I assure you that Elementary School is just a warm up... When facing the people that you will know there; you have to make the best first impression or be eaten by them when they become sharks. Show yourself as a man!"

"Yeah... I can do that... My name is Lincoln Loud and I am a man... My name is Lincoln Loud and I am a man... My name is Lincoln Loud and I am a man... My name is..." Lincoln said hyping himself up with a grin only to shriek as he saw what looked like a model rocket coming his way and jumped out of the way and then fell. It moved at lightning fast speeds; Lincoln had never seen anything like that.

Landed with a thud he looked and saw kids looking at him judgementally and some snickering at him. Lincoln groaned and said "my name is Lincoln Loud and I am a loser..."

Lincoln then saw a friendly looking redheaded girl with braces offering a hand to help him up; he then accepted it as a blonde haired boy came over to them. "Kim; what happened and... Who is this kid?" asked the boy as the girl then gave a glare to him; Lincoln having been helped up to his feet.

"I told you that it wasn't a toy Ron!" chided the girl as she looked to Lincoln apologetically. "I'm sorry; Ron here insisted on trying out this model rocket I made for school... My dad helped me with it." the girl then explained as the boy Ron looked at Lincoln.

"My bad dude..." Ron said apologetically as Lincoln gave her a look.

"Certainly fast... Is your dad like a rocket scientist or something?" Lincoln asked sarcastically as the girl giggled causing his eyebrow to raised.

"Haven't seen you at school. You new?" Kim asked as Lincoln gave a sad sigh with Kim frowning.

"Yeah... Moved here from Royal Woods because of trouble with my sisters at home... Staying with my Uncle Steve." Lincoln then said as the girl then gave him a knowing smile.

"I totally understand... I have problems with my brothers... I'm Kim and welcome to the school. This is Ron." the girl introduced herself offering a hand and Lincoln accepted it.

"Sibling trouble... Glad that Ron Stoppable will be an only child forever." Ron then stated as they started to walk to the front door together.

"You know you can sit with us in class. We can be your new friends." Kim suggested and Lincoln then smiled at this.

"I would like that. Thanks." Lincoln said as this wasn't so bad so far; he did make a bit of a fool out of himself but made 2 new friends before his first class.

Lincoln felt that he could settle into an ordinary life at Middleton.

Chapter Text

It was 3 or so years ago since Lincoln had gone to stay in Middleton; he didn't know if it was rough below or more than 3 years but it didn't really matter, felt like a long time for the now teenage Lincoln Loud. The teenager now sported an Ace Savvy shirt as his primary attire most of days with blue jeans.

Right now it was in the morning of class at Middleton High where he was now attending; it was a bit of a big day for the students as term papers were due. Lincoln was in a hurry as he had arrived and gone through the students in the corridors; going through until he reach a locker that he put the number in to unlock.

It wasn't his locker and belonged to one of his two best friends there in Middleton; while normally going through the locker of your female friend was frowned upon at the very best but in this case...

"Okay now..." Lincoln muttered to himself putting on the computer that Kim kept in her locker; placing a USB drive in it. "Almost done and..." Lincoln then said and jumped as he was was pressing a print button. "Ron; what is it?" Lincoln asked annoyed as there was Ron there trying to get close to the computer.

"I need to download Steel Toe: Cyber Slam cheats so can I use the computer? I need the print outs to ace the game!" Ron asked reaching for his hand to be slapped away by Lincoln who was giving him a frown.

"Ron! You can just look them up on your phone; I am using the printer now..." Lincoln replied as his eyes widened as he saw a certain naked mole rat had crawled from Ron's sleeve to go onto the computer's keyboard. "Hey Rufus! leave it alone..." Lincoln ranted as he tried to grab at Rufus as the pages were being printed.

"Oh come on Lincoln... Wait; you are trying to stop me from being better at you at the game... Aren't you?" Ron accused with his arms folded up as Lincoln had chased Rufus onto the ground where the mole rat ran up Ron's leg to go into his usual home of his owner's pocket.

"First of all... All the cheats in the world can't make you beat me!" Lincoln told Ron with a smug tone and facial expression which soon dropped. "Second of all; this is legit more important than a wrestler endorsed video game. Kim messaged me this morning and asked me to get her history paper printed out for her. Her brothers made it hard for her to finish it and she sent it to me and I put it on this drive." Lincoln finished and grinned as he then collected the papers once it finished printing and put them together.

"What's the big deal about the term papers anyway? Not like they matter much in the long run or any work that they make us do..." Ron asked with a sigh as Lincoln started looking through his backpack.

"That attitude explains your report card so much. Anyway... Ahah!" Lincoln said triumphantly finding the stapler and staping the paper together. Getting his phone he then sent a text out to Kim; "Now she can focus on getting to class... No third strike for this month!" Lincoln said triumphantly as he then put the staper away.

"What's the big deal... Barkin's your uncle... You could just ask him to go easy on her like he does you..." Ron said as Lincoln then laughed humorlessly before scoffing.

"Ron; as I have said before when you try and get me to ask for special favours for you... He made it very clear that from the first bell until the final; there are no 'Lincoln' and 'Uncle Steve'. There are only 'Loud' and 'Mr Barkin'." Lincoln then retorted pinching his nose. He then said "not only that... He goes easy on me? He makes it clear that any homework gets completed as soon as possible and all assignments handed in as soon as possible. And with work that he sets; it's not like i can just hand it to him at home, it has to be on his desk..." Lincoln said taking his drive away.

Ron actually looked like he was pondering his words and then replied "Yeah; should have expected that he's a slave driver to you as well... So can I download my cheats now?"

Lincoln rolled his eyes as he got his backpack but just nodded; whistling to himself as he made his way to the history classroom. Putting Kim's paper on the desk; he then got out his latest drawing pad where he had been sketching.

They ranged from portraits of things he likes from ghosts, the comic secret agent hero David Steele, Ace Savvy and himself as a magician. Plus sketching out pictures of his close female friend who was helpful, humble and looked great.

Soon enough rushing through the door like her life depended on it was said friend Kim; "Lincoln! Do you..." Kim asked urgently taking him by surprise.

"Ah... Yeah... Handed it in for you..." Lincoln replied as he was then pulled into an embrace by a grateful Kim. His face going red as she then let go.

"Please and thank you Lincoln! You're a lifesaver; I can't do detention if I got tardy for a third time this month!" Kim said gratefully as she went and got her seat. Lincoln taking in the embrace as he found himself.

"My pleasure..." Lincoln muttered with a sigh.

Much later in the day there was dinner in the Barkin household; Lincoln sitting down at the table with the food that Barkin got prepared. While this was going on; Lincoln had his phone to his ear while he was eating.

"...My dads think that they got the best way to combine me eating my nutritions along with eating enough as a growing teenager..." Clyde his best friend from Royal Woods saying on the phone; they kept in touch all these years through calls and emails and the occasional get together.

"I think Uncle Steve has that sorted out for me... I am enjoying a nice healthy salad... With the burger on top..." Lincoln said having finished the big beef burger and getting to his salad.

"Remember the rule Lincoln; if the phone's on during lunch then your mouth better spend as much time eating as it does speaking!" Barkin then said as Lincoln then gave him a thumbs up.

"That sounds delicious; anyway... Have you seen the new comics today? Ace Savvy is killer but David Steele... Man; how it ended the arc..." Clyde muttered in awe as Lincoln's eyes widened

"Haven't yet but it sounds like I have to!" Will speak to you later!" Lincoln told Clyde as they ended the call and then there was a text from Kim. "Looks like I know what I am doing after dinner..." Lincoln then said reading it.

"Man... Clyde was not kidding... This is one of David's best comic stories yet... To be like him... A man of danger, espionage and intrigue... Saving the world, travelling the world, meeting a lot of interesting people, fighting more interesting bad guys... He sure lives an awesome life..." Lincoln then muttered in awe as he had just finished the latest David Steele comic. "Where are we headed again; anyway?" Lincoln then asked seeing the plane that he, Kim and Ron were in landing.

The trio having changed attires with Lincoln wearing cargo pants and a black shirt with protective gloves; having taken his comics in his backpack with him to read.

"The Amazon and it looks like we are here! Thanks Gustavo!" Kim then said to the driver of the plane who took them there as part of a favor; Gustavo wishing he could do more to repay them but Kim thought that it wasn't any big.

Kim got out her 'Kimunicator' and there was Wade Load; the young kid who runs Kim's website as well as invents and supplies their gadgets. "I can stream you the lab of Professor Acari now." Wade said as Lincoln came up to watch with them.

A figure leaping in and kicking the camera; Lincoln's eyes widened as he stared at the footage in disbelief. "No way!" Shego?" Lincoln asked shock as they heard the sound of Ron sipping his soda cup.

"Is that necessary?" Kim asked Ron as the boy had both his friends staring at him.

"A thousand miles from any free refills so every drop counts!" Ron retorted as Rufus then took the straw.

Kim then took her glance towards Lincoln; "Lincoln; who know who that is?" Kim asked who then got excited at the thought.

"Off course I do... Shego was and I do mean was part of Team Go... A group of superheroes fought crime since they were kids... They broke up and Shego became some sort of bad guy mercenary... Hired work... But still; I've looked it up and she is like a badass with her moves even without the energy blasts that she makes with her hands! She is so cool... Even if she's a bad guy now..." Lincoln said excitedly as Kim and Ron gave him looks.

"You seem to be really into her but I can't blame you..." Ron said giving a wolf whistle at the image of Shego on the Kimunicator.

"Well yeah... Real life superheroes with powers who fight villains are rare so any that do exist would get my attention... I have all sorts of posters of her..." Lincoln then said sounding a bit embarrassed as Kim got serious.

"Well if she is as good as you say that she is Lincoln then we best be on our toes!" Kim said as she then undid her seatbelt; "Let's go!" Kim said going into all business mode and motioned for her two male friends to follow her.

A walk through the Amazon forest through the bugs; to the treehouse lair of Professor Acari where there were plenty more insects and spiders inside. "Man... If Leni was here... I doubt that she would survive... She would crash and burn..." Lincoln muttered as Professor Acari was showing them around.

"I don't know... Everyone is accounted for..." Professor Acari was telling them as Ron was near the computer; finding that the 'screensaver' on the monitor was actually butterflies on it.

Lincoln noticed and began thinking; Kim looked to the Kimunicator and Lincoln then glanced at the Kimunicator. "Looks like we have the same thought..." Lincoln muttered as in the background they saw that there was an upload in progress on the computer.

"Professor; what was on the computer?" Kim asked as Acari gasped and rushed to check and saw that the disc drive was empty.

"My digital blueprint... A robot tick virtually identical to the real thing!" Acari then said as they looked at him.

"You designed a robot tick... Speaking as someone who had a young sister that I realised it was best not to ask why she was designing what she was... Why make a robot tick? Unless you liked the 'robotic' pun so much..." Lincoln asked as the professor then shrugged.

"I just have a lot of free time on my hands..." Acari said as Lincoln blinked at this.

"Again from my experience... Stuff made by scientists with a lot of free time can't be good..." Lincoln drawled.

"Well Lincoln; we better see to finding this Shego and see what she wants with a robot tick." Kim then said motioning the boys to follow her back.

"Coming KP; the farther I am from these beasts; the better..." Ron said creeped out as she and Lincoln followed Kim.

The next day after school; Buena Nacho restaurant a popular hangout for teens in the city. The 3 were at their usual table eating their food as Lincoln was focusing. Putting his fingers into his sleeves and summoning from playing cards that were going into a house of cards but quickly fell apart.

"Dang it! I almost had it that time!" Lincoln cried disappointed as he banged the table.

"Don't sweat it Lincoln; you are doing fine..." Kim told Lincoln assuringly as Ron slurped on his drink. Lincoln gave her a smile.

"I thought that you didn't care much about Double L's magic KP." Ron said as he got glances.

"A better skill to have than spelling out your name in burps..." Kim retorted chidingly as the beep for the Kimunicator was sounded. Kim took it out as they then looked at the image of Wade.

"I scanned the outcoming and incoming planes in the area and found this one going to this Caribbean island said to be haunted!" Wade then explained as Kim looked skeptic, Lincoln looked excited and Ron looked scared along with Rufus.

"Haunted? Like ghosts?" Lincoln asked excitedly before it died down as Kim looked at him. "Doesn't make sense... Shego working with ghosts to steal a robot tick... Still; could just be to keep out strangers..." Lincoln said as Kim got up.

"Won't keep us meddling kids out!" Kim then said as they then got up.

Trying to scuba dive through the water had them caught in a trap and now on a pole above the water. "Seriously... Did they look through all the famous villain lairs and took notes to put this together?" Lincoln asked incredulously as they looked at the sharks in the water below them.

"Look here we have... The famous Kim Possible and her chums..." mocked a voice and there was appearing before them was a smirking Shego. Kim glared at her and Lincoln looked like he was about to burst in excitement. "Is your chum alright?" Shego asked raising an eyebrow and Lincoln couldn't hold it.

"Sorry... I know that I shouldn't be acting like this since you're evil now and all but I can't help it... You were like the coolest member of Team Go! I have your posters and action figure... Hated it when my sisters called it a 'doll'..." Lincoln said excitedly and Shego just stared at him.

"Wow... Thanks... I do appreciate it but I would prefer it if you keep it on the downlow... My boss doesn't exactly know about my past and I would prefer if it stayed like that." Shego then said as Kim raised an eyebrow.

"And who would that be?" Kim asked as a figure in blue came down the steps.

"It is I... So Kim Possible; I take it that you have hard the exploits of the great mastermind of evil known as Doctor Drakken!" the figure said dramatically as the teenagers just blinked at him. "I am sure that you are just in awe at being in the presence of such evil... Shame that we can't stay for lunch..." Drakken then said pressing a button dropping the teenagers into the water and they then left.

Ron looked scared and Lincoln swam out of the way; Kim focused on using her lipstick gadet to send pink gunk into the mouths of the sharks; grabbing at her friends to help them swim faster.

"Poor sharks... The bad rap that they have thanks to the book and movie..." Lincoln thought as they were sneaking around the main lair as Drakken explained to Shego his plan of using nano-explosives in the robot tick to use as a weapon. Kim then too kteh chance to take the disc back as Drakken appeared before them.

"We have foiled your plot Doctor... Dragon? Anyway; looks like you will be ticked off!" Lincoln said making a dramatic pose as Kim sighed, Ron stared and Drakken and Shego then stared at him.

"What was that? He got my name wrong and made a pun?" Drakken asked scratching his head confused as Shego stared at him.

"I think that it was meant to be a one liner..." Shego then replied looking amused as Ron and Kim sighed; Lincoln just frozen in his pose in embarassment.

"At least he can come up with them on the fly now; remember after we caught our first villain..." Ron said as Lincoln sighed dejected:

"Oh... How about this? Looks like you are all tied up at the moment! No that's lame... Give me a minute..." Lincoln said as Ron and Kim looked at him embarrassed in a destroyed villain's lair a monocle wearing mastermind was tied up in rope.

The villain asked "how long before I get taken to the authorities? This is just painful for all of us..."

"Anyway... I don't know why I even bother with sharks..." then said Drakken pressing a button to activate the lasers on the wall to blast at him. Lincoln got ready but Kim was prepared; using her portable mirror to send them right back at eachother and began breaking up and they started leaving with Lincoln being faster than Ron.

Jumping out as the place exploded; "The magic of seeing a lair up in flames isn't there anymore..." Lincoln then sighed after they landed in the water.

"I am just happy that we keep getting out of there before they do explode..." Ron then said as Kim motioned for them to swim away.

Next day at school; it was lunch time. "At Lunchtime... Today's special is the Mystery Meat and it's a mystery that I won't solve as I know to bring my own lunch!" Lincoln said with a grin sitting down at a table with a big grin as he got out from his backpack his sandwiches in a sealed bag.

"I don't know what you see in those disgusting sandwiches that you make." Ron said sitting down next to him with his tray and Rufus gave a barging motion.

Lincoln shook his head as he took his first bite out of the first sandwich; they looked repulsed and he said "I have seen your eating habits so I don't think that you should talk..." Lincoln finished it and his cheeks were red as he spotted Kim in the line in her cheerleading uniform. "She got practice this lunch..." Lincoln muttered as Ron looked at him.

"You worried about breaking 'the rules?" Ron asked as Lincoln raised an eyebrow at him.

"The invisible ones you invented about geeks not going for girls out of their league or friends dating friends?" Lincoln asked eyebrows raised.

"A little bit of Column A and B as well." Ron said as Lincoln shook his head in denial.

"I am not crushing on Kim..." Lincoln retorted and Ron and Rufus didn't look convinced.

"Lincoln; I have seen your drawings when trying to find notes to cheat with. The ones you make in your notes and how you draw her as your magic assistant." Ron then said as Lincoln was red in the face.

"Well... That's a simple explanation..." Lincoln muttered and Ron then grinned at him as if motioning for him to explain. "Wait... You WHAT?" Lincoln asked angrily as Ron's eyes widened nervously.

However a blast was sent through the wall and there was Drakken and Shego.

"You have something that belongs to me." Drakken accused as the students started clearing out and Lincoln gulped with Ron hiding out underneath the table. Shego then picked up Lincoln by the collar and she shoved something in his pocket as Lincoln shook his head.

"Look... Professor... Doctor... Whatever... I have nothing to..." Lincoln said trying to be brave but was a bit worried but then Drakken picked up his other sandwich. "Hey! What are you doing? That's my second sandwich!" Lincoln asked his fear turning to anger as Drakken smirked smugly at him.

"You take something from me then I take something from you..." Drakken then said taking a bite and then his eyes widened. He spat out looking disgusted and looked inside; "This sandwich tastes like evil incarnate... What is this... Peanut butter and what?" Drakken demanded as Lincoln was furious.

"Sauerkraut and you just ruined a perfectly good sandwich!" Lincoln snapped as Kim then tackled Shego causing her to drop Lincoln. Lincoln ran out of the hole.

"Shego! Go retrieve my tick... I have to go and wash out this revolting taste that this darn sandwich boy has tricked me into tasting!" Drakken snapped as Shego then pushed Kim back and started chasing after Lincoln.

"A hot older woman chasing after you... This is like most teenage boy's dream but for me..." Lincoln thought using his experience of running away from older girls out to get him to work as he was dodging Shego's blasts.

Shego ended up catching up to Lincoln and he was dodging her attempts to catch him and managed to kick her back and punched at her gut; "Not bad fanboy but not gonna save you..." Shego said with a bit of shock but turned to determination.

"Thanks... Lessons from my uncle to toughen me up... But please answer this fanboy's question; why go evil?" Lincoln asked as Shego shrugged along with a sigh as she stood there in front of him.

"Evil pays better than the royalties on the Team Go merch and dealing with my brothers got to me. Do you have any idea how annoying all those siblings could be?" Shego asked as Lincoln then scoffed amused.

"Try telling that to a kid who didn't grow up in a house with 10 sisters. Everything all busy and nosy and you being expected to accept it when they gang up on you and decide that they are allowed to intrude on your personal life or that their issues with eachother should affect you as well." Lincoln then retorted sounding a bit bitter as Shego was taken aback.

"Wow..." Shego said as she was then tackled by Kim who began dodging her blasts and fighting with her own fighting moves. "It sounds like the Kim Possible could live up to the reputation..." Shego said with a grin as Lincoln got himself up.

"I should be running away but Shego and that Doctor... Drakken thinks that I got the tick..." Lincoln said as his eyes widened as he found the device on his jeans. Lincoln then picked it up and then crushed it.

Lincoln picked it up and Shego noticed it and then came Drakken in a flying vehicle. "What... My tick... My glorious plan is ruined! Shego! Let's go!" Drakken ranted as Shego then jumped up to join him as Lincoln and Kim looked up at them.

"Take care and don't be so lucky next time our paths cross!" Shego then said looking annoyed and not even being beaten by teenagers; more like she failed a driving test.

"Kim Possible! Sandwhich Boy! You both think that you are all but you're not! I will get my revenge; you haven't seen the last of Doctor Drakken!" Drakken then snapped as they flew away and Ron joined them.

"So they retreated..." Ron said as Kim looked ponderingly.

"I doubt that the last we have seen of them... Wait; Sandwich Boy?" Kim asked confused as Lincoln sighed.

"The doctor stole my second sandwich while Shego put this in my pocket..." Lincoln said as he then took out from his pocket and his eyes widened at seeing an autograph promotional picture of Shego. "This is definitely going in the collection..." Lincoln said grinning as Kim sighed and Ron patted him on the back.

"Next time; try and not be so excited about getting an autograph from a henchwoman..." Kim said shaking her head. "Should get to practice now..." Kim said waving them goodbye and they went back to the school building.

"Yeah and I was wanting to practice some more magic tricks or work on my drawing..." Lincoln said as the teenagers went to go back to their normal school day.
