Summary
Kim Hongjoong's loneliness was often put down to his tendencies to self-isolation. However, unknown to others it is much more than that, he throws himself into his work for hours to distract himself from the harsh reality of the world outside his design studio, he forgets to sleep and eat because he cannot break out of the focus of his work, he smokes to keep his fingers busy, else they might turn to worse coping mechanisms before he can stop himself.
That is, until he meets 7 new hybrids, 7 new friends, his new family who can help him overcome these struggles with their, sometimes overwhelming, support and care; while facing their own problems along the way.
But can these hybrids overcome their own problems, and face the difficulties that being hybrids born in a time lacking progressiveness brings, or will they suffocate before they can find safety in each other's love?
