elphaba flipped a page of her book, fully invested sitting at her desk, while glinda sat at the extra bed in the room they had decorated for her with light pinks and cream whites. she sat crisscrossed her main pair of arms twirling a strand of her hair, the other layed in her lap, a frown on her face, as her wings twitched slightly, only further giving away her annoyance.
"hmf" a sound escaped her, making her cross her main arms and look away from elphaba, who stayed fairly focused on her book, not wavering her attention other than to flip the page or write something down.
"elphiiieeee" glinda dragged out her nickname for the other woman, her tone whiney. elphaba still didn't look up, earning a huff from the blonde. she knows she only tried to get the green woman's attention twice, but that was enough for her, so she walked over to the desk elphaba was so lost in, peering over at what she was doing, which was nothing glinda considered important. elphaba still didnt look up at the presence looming over her until one of glinda's pale wings grazed her, snapping her back to the world.
"are you back." the angel asked dryly, the set of eyes on her cheeks narrowing with her main set of eyes, pushing up an eyebrow. elphaba turned to face her, blinking a few times while looking for a pair of eyes to look at, before working her way up to the main pair, to which she settled on.
"yes glinda, what do you need?" she asked with a sigh. "your attention" glinda had said it so calmly, her main set of arms on her hips while the second pair fiddled with the clothes she had on. elphaba's cheeks warmed up slightly at the comment.
"my attention..?" the green woman restated as a question, to which the angel just nodded impatiently. elphaba sighed, "glinda i have to study for one of my classes." the blonde was very obvious to her dislike to that answer, furrowing her brow, her wings stretching out a bit to preform a few half assed flaps to complain.
"you've been studying almost the whole school week, take a break or something." glinda's frown had returned, twisting her lips downward, the eyes on her cheek rolling in annoyance as well. "elphie pleaseeeeee" she could see her dramatic stubborn act would not work, so she dove into her sweetest look, batting her main eyes at elphaba, her voice smooth and soft. elphaba debated her options, keep working and probably fall asleep on an uncomfortable desk, or stop glinda's whining and fall asleep in a bed. she chose the bed, with a sigh she got up, and organized her notes.
glinda's top smaller wings attached to her head did a little flutter themselves, this time in victory as she scooped elphaba up with her arms and carried her back to glinda's bed, flopping her down carefully onto the pink surface before getting under the covers, and inviting elphaba to join her which she did without much protest. the angel snapped her right fingers and shut off all the lamps in the room, the only object producing light was her halo which floated above the bed, all the eyes on it shut, presumably resting, as the little sun in the middle threw a warm glow onto nearby objects.
the atmosphere was quiet nice, the blonde had grabbed elphaba and was now softly holding her with her lower pair of arms around her waist, her upper pair laced with one of her hands, the other was down by her stomach, their legs intertwined as glinda hummed gently in content.
"see how easy that was?" she lightly teased, to which elphaba responded with a sigh that rolled into a soft chuckle, curling her head into the angel's soft hair, before she felt a slight weight over her. it wasn't uncomfortable, just a surprise. elphaba glanced out to see one of glinda's wings stretched out over them both like a blanket, the other one still seemed to be tucked in. elphaba smiled to herself as she finally let herself relax, melting into glinda's arms, as she let her own open arm rest on the blonde's waist. their breathing was synchronized quite fast as they both fell asleep in each others arms
