“Oh c’nom Akito you never even make an effort to help me around the house!”
“Because you never ask me to!!”
The couple was having another one of their pointless arguments, after all they most likely made up after a few hours but that never stopped them from giving each other grief as they both continued to squabble.
“Y’know what? You’re sleeping on the couch tonight!”
“HA! Make me.”
Akito retorted back in a sarcastic manner while An grumbled back, her fists clenching in an annoyed way - she could practically feel the veins pulsating in them. The man smirked back seeing that her hands were tied and he spoke again.
“Cat got your tongue hm?”
“Fine since your a stubborn little shit I’ll just..”
She approached their bed and removed one of Akito’s pillows from his stack, propping it in the middle of the bed. She proudly placed her hands on her hips as Akito looked at the bed with confusion.
“What the hell is that.”
“This is my side and that’s your side. Stay on YOUR side.”
She explained pointing to both sides of the bed meanwhile Akito just crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
“Fine. Whatever I couldn’t care less!”
Akito grabbed the blanket and draped it over himself as he plopped himself on the bed in a more aggressive fashion than usual while An just narrowed her eyes realising that he just stole their blanket all for himself.
“Hey! You can’t do that!”
“Since I’ve lost a pillow you've lost a blanket. Simple.”
“You‘re so goddamn insufferable.”
An slapped the light switch off and shoved herself into bed, turning to face her body away from Akito with him doing the same as they both shut their eyes to fall into slumber, An curling herself up slightly in attempt to warm herself - her teeth gritting in irritation..
After a few hours, An suddenly woke up. The room was pitch black, so she turned on the lamp that rested on her bedside table creating a small source of light she blinked a few times getting used to her surroundings as she noticed the pillow that separated the two fell over she sighed and then her eyes landed on Akito, his body now faced her and the blanket that was previously covering his full body was now dangling off his foot. An took a moment to stare at his.. stupid face. She honestly felt tempted to just push him off there and then but she didn’t purely for the fact she couldn’t be bothered she just faced him and gazed..
After a while Akito’s eyes surprisingly opened and he groaned groggily. His vision quickly adjusted to the lying woman beside him. Her body fully turned to him as his face turned a slight red despite the grudge he still held on her their eyes both locked and An also felt herself heating up.
“A-“
Before he could finish mumbling her name An quickly crashed herself into him, squeezing him in a tight embrace as he swiftly wrapped his arms around her upper back pulling her in closer so now their bodies were flush with one another. An dug her head deeply into his chest as his head leant ever so softly on top of hers. One of his hands softly trailing its way to the back of her head to shield it protectively. Both of them felt a comfort fill them and a fire that burned in both of their hearts as An muttered her voice somewhat muffled.
“..I’m sorry”
“Me to..”
Akito’s eyes fluttered back shut while the blanket he had was kicked aside. An’s black into blue fading hair cascading down her back while Akito leisurely ran his fingers through it which resulted in a tighter compression from An. They continued to doze in each other’s arms for the rest of the night..
“AKITO SHINONOME WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU CALL THIS MESS?!”
An yelled from the bathroom and the ginger shot upwards from the bed as he whimpered in exasperation.
“Oh for crying out loud give me a break..”
