Work Text:
Oh how you would love to never leave Sylus’s arms, is the first thought you think when you were woken up by the sunlight that creeps through the window, encouraging you to get up, even though your body refuses due to the comfortable state that it’s in, with Sylus’s arm wrapped around your waist and his head nuzzled in the croak of your neck, emitting such warmth that it’s heard to resist, even for the strongest soldier.
The way his body is pressed against your, leaving no space for even a gust of wind, how his leg traps yours, the blanket that was covering you kicked aside- replaced by him instead.
You especially love when you move, even the littlest, his body consciously pulling you impossibly closer, as if he cannot fathom the thought of not holding you even in his sleep, no doubt that he would deny this, you know know that under the mask he wears is a man who never felt comfortable showing showing his affection to others, a man too scared to be vulnerable around others due to the scars of his past, and you understand it all too well , and ,maybe that's why unbeknownst to you, your body always seeks out his warmth and indulges his soft touched as if your own soul is familiar with him.
Otherwise how would you ever explain that your heart cries out in longing whenever it is unable to see him, As if your souls are both intertwined unbeknownst to you, and surprisingly you find yourself liking the picture of spending every waking moment with Sylus.
So glancing at the alarm clock next to you, you pull back the blanket from the edge of the bed and cover both of you in it, falling back into his arms, this time with a smile on your face.
