   Summary

   When the god king forces Odysseus to choose, he cannot bring himself to sacrifice his men. No matter how they had wronged him, he just couldn’t do it.
   So he decided he’d rather Penelope and Telemachus remember him a hero than live with him a coward.
   He swears servitude to Zeus in a last ditch-effort to save his crew, and maybe — just maybe — see his family again. Things in his life really only spiral downward from there, though.

   OR: Ody swears servitude to Zeus as many things (cupbearer, confidant, sex slave, etc) and Ody faces detrimental damage to his mental health. A certain friend is there to help him through it, though!
