Chapter Text

POV Narrator

We can see the group of friends consisting of the team RWBY, JNPR and CFVY, they were all in front of some kind of two floor ruined temple in the middle of a forest along with their teacher Doctor Oobleck.

"Remember, this is a recon mission, so try not to destroy the place, also, no wandering off. We don't know what might be there, so stay close together, only we'll be entering but there are hunters on stand by near here in case there's something we can't deal with." Said the professor "Understood?"

"Yes!" Was the unanimous awnser of the students.

Without more to say they head inside to start investigating, the first floor looked like some kind of combat place, with the ring in the middle of the room and some rough weapon stands on the sides, if for entertainment or for training is unclear and the stairs to the second floor on the left side, the second floor on the other hand seemed like some kind of sacrificial room, with an altar in the center and not much else.

After not finding much on the first floor they all reunite on the second floor by the altar, they discuss when this temple could have been made and what for, except for Ruby, she was checking the altar itself, when she got closer the floor under her boot sunk revealing itself as a hidden button, before she could warn the others a volley of explosive arrows was sent at them.

Jaune got lucky and was sent flying by the first explosions before more could hit him and only losing around 70% of his aura and got some scratches, but the rest wasn't as lucky, Nora is heavily injured while holding an unconscious bleeding Ren, Yang is on the floor barely conscious with multiple burn marks and some cuts from the debris while Ruby is by her side desperately trying to nurse her wounds with teary eyes ignoring her own burns, Blake and Weiss are trying to help each other get up having both gotten one of their legs hurt along with burn marks around their bodies, Yatsu and Velvet managed to receive minimal burns at the cost of using most of their aura and energy, Coco tried to do the same, but her gattling gun couldn't resist the pressure and broke leaving her open to the arrows, Fox was relatively ok as he managed to dodge most arrows and explosions but he still got pretty hurt and tired, Pyrrha tried to protect those close to her, but the explosions proved too much for her and her weapons leaving her with huge burns on her arms and torso and an unfixable weapons, their professor wasn't much better, he managed to dodge direct hits from the arrows but the explosions still got him and they couldn't call for reinforcements because the Communicator got destroyed.

"Damn it... who can stand?" asked the professor looking at his students while standing up, Jaune, Ruby, Fox, Yatsu and Velvet answered while Blake and Weiss managed to stand up together "Good, those who can-"

Before he could finish they heard something moving and looked only to see a wall sink and reveal three human like golems activating, one with a sword on it's left and the other two with no weapons.

"Grab whoever you can and run to the exit!" Yelled the professor while grabing Pyrrha and heading towards the exit, the students follow his example, Ruby grabs Yang, Fox and Yatsu carry Nora and the now conscious Ren, Velvet grabed her team leader meanwhile Blake and Weiss helped each other while the golems finally activated and started moving.

Seeing this, Jaune decided he'll help any way he can, he stood between the golems and the rest and pulled out his sword and shield.

"Let's go we ar-" The professor was about to encourage his students but stopped when he saw one of them stay behind "Mr. Arc! What are you doing?!" He yelled at him making the other notice him ready to face them.

"Just go and get to the other hunters! I can hold them off at least until you get out!" He yelled back, they hesitate for a second, but agree that it's the best choice.

"Very well Mr. Arc! resist until our return! that's an order!" Said the professor while speeding with the rest to the first floor while Jaune begins to fight for his life.

Meanwhile a very tired and hurt Pyrrha tries to tell him to come with them but her voice doesn't come out.

After they got to the first floor they Heard a scream of pain and rage that almost sounded like a roar from Jaune, but the fight continued, they even heard one less pair of feet making them a little hopeful they could get him out but when they crossed the door to the outside they heard Jaune scream and the fight stopped, they couldn't hold the tears, they just heard a friend die and they couldn't do anything, Ruby and Jaune's team were the most affected, his team because they belived their leader died and Ruby thought it was her fault for activating the trap.

Until Ren and Oobleck felt something, looking towards the second floor "I can fell Jaune's aura flaring up! He's still fighting!" The ever calm Ren screams surprising them by the outburst and even more by what he said, with hope they looked a the second floor too.

"But..." All of them minus Ren looked at the professor when he talked "It's... like 3 to 4 times bigger, it couldn't just suddenly grow so much..." They got even more surprised by that "Unless…!" At that point all of them reached the same conclusion…

Jaune unlocked his semblance.

Inside the temple a little earlier.

After they got away Jaune was in front of the golems, he managed to dodge most of the hits thanks to them not being too fast, but his did little to no damage unless they were at very specific places those being, the neck, the joints and lower chin, he launched himself at the one with a sword trying to out speed him, but they noticed this and the unarmed ones went to his sides while the last one does a thrust for Jaune's face, seeing this he barely managed to dodge a full hit but still got cut, his right cheek got cut from the mouth to halfway to the ear, but he wouldn't waste this chance, taking advantage of the weird position they were in he got close and, with a scream from his soul of pain and rage he cut his neck completely.

'YES!' He thought after having cut off its neck, but before he could do more he was punched and launched far with is sword and shield being dropped in the fly, coughing, he tried to get up, but one of the golems grabed him by the neck and prepared to punch him again in the gut, but this time it's fist went through Jaune, making him scream, he tried to do something but the golem just extracted his fist and dropped him to the ground and begun moving away, he couldn't move anymore but he couldn't accept that 'No! I will defeat them and go back to my friends!' He screamed mentally, his aura flaring up making the golems face him again, he managed to get up still with the hole in his gut and summoned a sword in his right hand, it was a katana with a blue handle and a golden guard (Grimmjow's sword), he didn't question how he did it and instinctively used his aura to make a swing and create a claw like aura attack at the golems, they tried to defend themselves but, the attack went through their defense and destroyed them and hit the wall.

After such attack Jaune was out of nearly aura, the sword disappeared and he fell to his knees gasping for air, he looked down to his stomach and saw his destroyed armor and shirt and the hole still there but it wasn't bleeding and he could fell his legs, he didn't understand how that was possible, until he realized something. 'Wait… Is this part of my semblance? I also summoned a sword just now... No that isn't right, I didn't summon it, I made it with my aura!' he thought surprised by the knowledge. 'But... That doesn't explain the hole on my gut not bleeding' He thought again touching his rigth cheek to check if the same thing happened, and Surprise! It did. 'This is weird… whatever! I need to get out and reunite with the others, I'll think about it when I get to the school' He thought before getting up and grabbing Corcea Mors and sheathing the blade in the sheath and, using it as a cane, he begins to head to the first floor while thinking '...Weird, I'm getting some urges to start using my fists more... but not like Yang does, I want to use them like... claws…' He thought before stopping at the bottom of the stairs and smiling wide, like a predator seeing it's prey 'Yeah, claws, not sure how, but I can fell my aura is telling me to fight like an animal, no... Like a beast! Or better yet, a panther!' He though smiling even wider 'Yeah, a panther, I like that' He though smiling like a madman before he coughed in his hand, looking at it ha saw blood 'Damn, so my aura didn't heal me, it would be too convenient, Right?' He asked no one before continuing his walk towards the door while coughing a bit more 'I hope they didn't go too far' He though before getting to the door.

Outside the temple continuing from before.

Every one was looking at the second floor with serious face, then they heard one of the walls on the second floor get hit with something powerful "I... I can't fell the aura fo the golems anymore…" The professor said to everyone, when they heard that they all left a sigh of relief escape.

They stayed there for a minute waiting for Jaune to come out, every second they felt more nervous, even Nora and Ruby were quiet looking at the door, then they heard coughing and steps and they saw him and they were incredibly relieved, then they saw his right cheek and how it had a giant tear that showed his right molars, they were horrified, and when he showed his whole body, they couldn't contain their tear at the view of the fist sized hole in his gut "Hey, guys… I did it... I beat those assholes up... now, I'm gonna take a nap…" Jaune said smiling and getting a little closer to them before falling face first on the grass completely knocked out, after a second those who can move get close to him while carrying those that can't.

Their professor quickly checks to see if he's breathing and his heart pumping "He's alive! We need to get him to the school now!" He screamed at his students before grabing Jaune and running towards the bullhead that got them here.

1 day later

We see an unconscious Jaune in the infirmary room of the school with his friends around him all of them clearly worried. "How is he nurse Ivy?" Asked a worried Ren.

"Well, apparently, he's completely healed and should wake up soon" Said the nurse shocking the students.

"Wha- How?! He still has that injury in his face and I refuse to believe the hole in his gut healed that fast!" Screamed a surprised Yang conveying everyone's thoughts.

"I thought so too, but, it turns out, those are permanent, they have no impediment to his health but they also can't be healed" Explained the nurse to the shocked students. "We think it might be a side effect of his aura o his semblance, after all, we don't know everything about either of them."

The students were taken off their surprise by a voice. "Yeah, that's my hypothesis too" Said the patient sitting up, making his friends look at him in disbelief before some jump and hug him those that jumped at him were Ruby, Pyrrha, Nora and Velvet.

"JAUNE!" Was all her heard from his friends before being thrown back to bed by 4 girls.

"Oof" He said after being pushed back down. "Damn, Did you girls miss me that much?" He said half joking but didn't expect to get multiple glares in his direction although some a bit weirded out by him saying something like that. "Okay, I get it, no jokes right now" He said rising his hands as if he's giving up while smiling. "Hey guys, what did I miss?" He said putting his hands down.

"Not much, you were only out for a day, I'll give you the notes later" Ren said surprising Jaune a bit.

"Only 1 day? I clearly remember having broken ribs, Did they heal that fast?" He asked looking at the nurse who only nodded. "So my semblance does also give some kind of regeneration" He said looking thoughtful.

"Wait! Wait! What do you mean 'also'?! Does you semblance give you other abilities?!" Asked a very surprised Ruby.

Jaune nodded. "As far as I've seen, I can create a sword out of my aura and make claw like attacks with my aura." He said surprising them quite a bit. "But, I think I can do more, I don't know how to explain it, but it's like my soul knows I can do more" He said not wanting to explain the whole panther part.

"Well, this has to be documented anyways so, if you may, I need to check on him to see if he can go back to school, so go to your rooms and wait for him there" The nurse said getting the other students to get out.

an hour later.

She let Jaune go after checking on him and not seeing anything wrong with him, letting him get dressed in his usual attire with Corcea Mors on his hip and documenting his semblance, which he choose to name 'Arrancar', he doesn't know why, it just felt right.

He is currently on his way to his room. 'Maybe it's time I leave you for my own sword' He thought looking at Corcea Mors and smiling. 'Yeah, the sword I made with my aura will be my new weapon! But... How do I create it again?' He thought stopping in his tracks, he then lifts his right hand and tried to replicate what he did on the temple, then his aura flared a little in his hand and the it formed the sword again. 'So that's how' While he looks at the katana he remembers something. 'Wait, Since when can I say thing like that normally?' He thought remembering what he said when the 4 girls hugged him, And he wasn't even a little nervous! Not even now! 'Does my semblance also change my personality? But that doesn't make sense. Unless… Maybe those ruins affected me and my semblance' He then shakes his head and continues walking to his room. 'I'll think about it later'

Chapter Text

POV Narrator

We can see Jaune in the forest by himself in the middle of the night practicing with his new sword, his attire now consists of a black shirt which is partially unzipped, black pants, a ragged white jacket with an upturned collar, the inner lining of his jacket is black and he wears it with the sleeves rolled up, black boots and two belts around his waist. (Grimmjow's new outfit) 'This is very weird...' He thought stopping his swings. 'Why does my semblance give me such strange side effects?' He remembered how this day has been.

A few hours earlier

Some time after he left the school infirmary, he can be seen having dinner with his friends, but... He was eating something very uncommon for him, while being looked at by his confused friends.

"So, Tell me again why you're eating a whole ass giant fish?" Asked a very confused Yang looking at Jaune take a bite of a giant fish without minding the scales.

"I felt like it" He answered after swallowing getting a thumbs up from Blake who has her can of tuna.

"You felt like it... You sure you're okay? This seems more like a Blake thing..." Said a mildly confused Ruby only to receive an annoyed 'Hey!' from Blake.

"Yeah, this seems like another side effect of my semblance, it's changing some of my preferences and a bit of my personality" He said before eating the whole head of the fish in one bite.

"But... That doesn't make sense, your semblance is a manifestation of your soul" Wondered a very confused Weiss. "If anything, it should make you more, well, you"

"Who knows, maybe I'm an exception" He said shrugging his shoulders. "Anyways, Hey, Pyr"

Blushing a little from the nickname she replied. "Yes Jaune?"

"Wanna go out with me to Vale later?" He asked before eating the rest of the fish in a bite, this left everyone speechless with a very flustered Pyrrha, some very jealous Ruby and Velvet and the rest are just gobsmacked he just said that, even Ren was visibly surprised. "What?" Asked a very confused Jaune.

"Damn Jaune-Jaune! Earning that 'Fearless leader' tittle, Aren't you?!" Said a very surprised but smiling Nora.

After hearing that he got very confused and thought over what he just said and realized how it could be misinterpreted. "Oh... Sorry, what I meant to ask was if you wanted to accompany me while I go buy somethings, again, sorry for the wording" He said clearing up the misunderstanding leaving a relived Ruby and Velvet and a mildly disappointed Pyrrha.

Sensing some tease opportunity Yang quickly said. "Damn BV, leading poor Pyrrha on, you bad boy"

For some reason, he got annoyed, maybe at the nickname or maybe it was the comment or both, he doesn't know. "2 things. First, please stop calling me that, it's getting annoying" He said seriously surprising them by him getting like that. "And second, It's not leading on if they have a chance" He said now smiling teasingly.

'I have a chance!' Thought a very happy and very flustered Pyrrha.

"Okay J, Didn't expect that from you" Said Yang amused.

"Anyways... Do you know any other way your semblance affected you?" Pyrrha quickly wondered before they kept going down that rabbit hole.

Understanding how she may feel Jaune answered. "Yeah, for example. Hey Nora"

"Yes Jaune-Jaune?"

"I told you before not to use my shampoo, Right?"

"...Yeah"

"So, why do I smell it in you hair?" He asked making everyone look at Nora.

"... Damn it" She cursed silently.

"So, super smell? That could be useful"

"It's more than that Ren, ALL of my senses got WAY better, I can even see better in the dark! I fell like a fucking cat" Jaune replied leaving his friends pretty surprised.

"Wait, How do you know you can see better in the dark?" Asked Fox noticing the little discrepancy.

"I went to my team dorm room earlier, to leave Corcea Mors, and when I entered I saw it was pretty bright, I thought you guys just left the lights on, but when I was leaving the room I noticed something, The lights were off this whole time! So yeah, in short, I'm more cat like now"

"So, We have 2 cats in the group now?" Ruby asked innocently looking at both Jaune and Blake.

Said cats look at each other intently in silence for a minute.

This makes the rest of the group grow a nervous by the second.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Until Blake's serious face started to break and she then looked away with a small blush and Jaune looks proud of himself.

"..." Everyone else was just completely speechless, they didn't expect for Blake to loose a stare contest with Jaune, And to suddenly blush on top of that!

"...What did we see?" Coco asked to no one really.

"...I'm not sure" Replied Yang unable to make a joke at such unexpected situation.

Trying to defuse the situation Blake decided to...

"Hey Pyrrha, you didn't answer Jaune's question earlier"

Throw Pyrrha under the bus! And, It worked! Now the focus was on Pyrrha who was nearly shining because of how red she was.

"Ah! Sorry Jaune! I can't go, I'm going to go train! Right now! Bye!" She said hastily and then running away.

"... Well, guess I'll go alone then, bye guys" He said getting up and heading to the exit.

3 hours later

We see Jaune already on Vale looking around clothes shops 'Why is it so hard to find what I want?!'

He has been, in fact, looking around for some specific clothes he wants, he isn't sure why, probably another semblance thing, but he really wants some really specific clothes.

After some more time, he finally found the clothes he wanted, but also noticed something.

The last bullhead to the school already took off!

'Seems like I'll have to stay here tonight, well, I'll go look for a hotel' He thought turning around and walking to the nearest hotel.

Back to the present

He put his sword in a sheath he made with his aura. 'First these permanent wounds, then the cat traits, then the sudden change of taste, and now, I don't feel tired at all even though I've been training for a whole hour... And what's with this weird feeling telling me I can do more than what I've done already?!' He thought a bit exasperated at the end. '...Let's see if this feeling is rigth...' He thought before lifting is hand up and pointing with his finger and he concentrated on moving his aura to the tip of his finger, then, a ball of around the size of a bottle cap appeared a centimeter away from his lifted finger.

Suddenly, as if he knew what he was doing, the ball grew into a giant ray forward, destroying every tree in it's way.

'So I can do more, I can even do a cero' He thought retracting his arm before realizing something. 'Wait, when did I name that attack 'cero'? Ugh... This makes me think even more that my soul somehow absorbed another persons soul, but, When? Was it on the temple? Or earlier? And how?' He kept that train of thought for a while. "UGH! I'll leave it alone, so far it hasn't turned me into a completely different person, so I don't think it will do too much, besides, this might help me finally be stronger" He said out loud before looking at his hands. 'I got a feeling that I should use my hands like claws more, Right? Why not start now?' He thought before smiling widely and looking at some lurking beowolfs. 'Time to train' Was his last thought before he launched himself at the closest one.

Some time later

Jaune is currently sitting besides a dead Ursa Major while smiling. 'This is pretty fun, maybe I can hunt a bit mo-' His thoughts got interrupted by his scroll notifying him of a call. "Pyrrha?" He asked before answering the call. "Hello?"

"JAUNE! WHERE ARE YOU!?" Was the first thing he heard from his partner.

"Wha-? I'm on Vale, Why? Did something happen?" He replied a little worried something came up.

"... Jaune, Why are you still on Vale?"

"What do you mean 'Why'? There are no bullheads going to the school yet."

"...Jaune, tell me, What time do you think it is?"

"I don't know, 9:30?"

"...It's 14:40 Jaune" She corrected after a sigh.

"...I'm going back" He said before hanging up and getting up. "Well, this probably isn't going to end well for me" He said to no one before he started walking towards Vale.

1 hour later

After getting back to the school, bathing and changing clothes, Jaune enters the gym where his team is.

Currently, Nora is lifting some heavy weights with Ren spotting her, not that she needs it, while Pyrrha is taking a break drinking some water.

Pyrrha notices someone entering and turns to see it's Jaune. "Oh! Hey Jau-" She was about to greet him until she saw his clothes and instantly blushed making the other two look too.

He had a white hakama*, a black sash and his ragged white jacket but now he didn't have a shirt under it (Grimmjow's old outfit) showing his upper body which was surprisingly toned for the bottom of the class.

Seeing her like that he decided to tease her. "Hey Pyr, Is Jau a nickname or are you just frozen by my appearance?" He said making her even redder.

"Shut up Jaune!" She screamed throwing her water bottle at him only for him to catch it making him laugh a little.

"Hey Jaune-Jaune! Looking good I see!" Said the ever energetic Nora sitting up.

"Are those clothes the reason you went to vale?" Asked the ever calm Ren looking at his new clothes.

"Yeah, wanted to get a new battle outfit and a new casual one too, this is the battle one" Replied the leader approaching them. "Here" He said giving Pyrrha her bottle back and her thanking him while still very flustered. "Hey Ren, How about we have a spar?"

"Sure, Any rules?" He agreed heading towards the sparring area.

"How about no weapons? I'm trying to get better at hand to hand combat" He suggested following him.

"That's good for me, When do we stop?" He asked turning around already near the border of the sparring area.

"Hmm... How about when one of our auras reach below 20% or we get pushed outside of the arena? Like in Ms. Goodwitch trainings" He said pulling out his scroll and making it project his total aura that was at 100% and putting it on the outside of the area.

"Sure" He agreed doing the same.

After that they went to opposite sides and asked Pyrrha to do the count down.

Ren already had a strategy to beat Jaune, he knew he couldn't beat Jaune by aura exhaustion, he simply had too much aura for that. So Ren choose to do the next best thing, try to overpower him and get him off the arena, so far he had better aura control which translated into more strength, speed, etc. So he thought it would be a relatively easy fight...

He was wrong.

The thing is, Jaune's semblance didn't only give him better senses and an ungodly amount of aura, it also gave him a instinctive control over his aura at Ren's level or higher, that, paired up with Jaune's intellect and his new fighting style which imitated that of a wild and unpredictable animal, made it so the one who got overpowered wasn't Jaune, it was Ren.

Pyrrha and Nora expected an equal battle, maybe with Ren having the upper hand, but when they saw Jaune not only equal, but surpass Ren in strength and speed they were quite surprised, even after Jaune went through Ren's aura on the first strike and Ren choose to get on the defensive, he was pretty easily countering Ren's attacks and throwing claw-like attacks back that Ren was forced to dodge seeing as he was stronger than him.

Jaune looked gleeful during the fight, enjoying every second of it. "Let's go Ren! I want to enjoy this fight more!" He screamed smiling like a madman.

This left his team a bit shocked by his outburst, but Ren quickly recovered and smiled back. "Let's go then" He said sprinting at Jaune.

This time though, Ren seemed to stop caring about not getting hit and fought Jaune head on, both with a smile on their faces, although Jaune's was way bigger, they exchanged hits carelessly, reducing their auras quickly.

They didn't notice when Ren's aura reached bellow the 20% until Pyrrha screamed. "Stop!"

The boys were both confused for a second until they looked to her and saw their aura counters, Ren's was at 19% and Jaune's was at 75%, this was a testament at the absurd amount of aura Jaune currently had.

Ren looked normal but Jaune looked a bit displeased that the fight ended but quickly accepted it and then smiled and turned to Ren. "That was a good spar Ren, we should it again" He said offering Ren a handshake which he took.

"Yeah, we should" Ren said smiling back.

After that they went to the girls of the team, which instantly made them ask when he got good at hand-to-hand combat.

Jaune sighed before answering. "My semblance has been giving me these weird feelings about how I should do things, one of those is my hand-to-hand combat, you probably noticed, but, I was fighting with claw-like attacks instead of fists, that was my semblance telling me to do so" He said leaving aside the possible soul absorption.

Pyrrha looked thoughtful. "That's weird, not only did it give you an appearance and preference change, new abilities and better senses. It also kinda gave you information? I starting to think your semblance is too weird" She recounted a little frustrated a the end.

The smiling Nora simply said. "But, Isn't that good? This means Fearless leader is even more incredible!"

"Well, even though it is a good thing, its still weird" Ren said looking thoughtful. "I wonder why your semblance changed you this much..."

"I don't know either Ren, I don't know" The leader said with a more calm smile. "What I do know is that we should train to be the best team of Beacon" He said now smiling more widely. "So, Who's sparing with me next?" He asked looking at the girls or the team.

Some time later

We can see team JNPR, now with more casual clothes, going through the school cafeteria with their dinners to meet up with their friends.

Shortly after Jaune noticed their wild hair colors and headed their way.

When he is close enough, Yang notices them and lifts her hand to greet them. "Hey gu-" Until she saw Jaune's clothes and was pleasantly surprised. "Yo J! Didn't know you had those clothes! Looking good!" She said excitedly making the other look at Jaune too and were surprised too.

He was wearing the casual clothes he bough earlier.

"I know right? Fearless leader gets more impressing every day!" Said the ever gleeful Nora.

With a small laugh from Jaune while team JNPR sat down he said. "Hey guys, we're back from training, and thank you Yang, I bough them yesterday" He said before starting to eat his food.

"I still don't know how you can move after sparing with each of us back to back..." Ren said before starting to eat, shocking their fellow teams.

"Apparently, my aura now also works as an energy I reflectively use to not get tired, in other words I don't need to sleep or rest as long as I have aura left" He said shocking the other two teams even more.

"Yeah, figured that much" Pyrrha said looking at her leader. "I still think your semblance is totally absurd"

After that exchange Ruby recovered from the shock. "Jaune did what?!" She screamed very confused awakening the others from their shock.

"Yeah, respectfully, What the fuck? What do you mean he fought you guys back to back?" Asked Blake looking at Ren.

"Well, at first, Jaune and I had a spar without weapons, because he wanted to train his hand-to-hand combat, which he won, after that he fought Nora in another hand-to-hand spar, which he won too, and then Pyrrha to another hand-to-hand spar in which he lost" Ren explained to the rest, leaving them very surprised. "And I think it's worth mentioning that he only lost to Pyrrha because he started at around 40% aura, and Pyrrha still was left with around 60%" He added leaving them even more surprised.

Eventually they calmed down and resumed eating, until Yang decided to break the ice. "So, Jaune is strong as fuck now then? That's a quick change" She said making the others nod in agreement.

Even Jaune agreed. "Yeah, but don't forget we didn't have weapons, they could've probably done a lot more if we did"

"Still, you got really strong J. Hey, maybe I'll give you a chance now that you can withstand me" She said trying to make him embarrassed and stunning everyone.

Ruby, Pyrrha and Velvet quickly retaliated. "Hey! Sis! No fair, I have dibs!/He's MY partner!/No! He's mine!" They exclaimed at the same time and then glared at each other.

The others were mildly surprised, not because of the girls announcing their crushes on him, that was obvious, it was because of how boldly they said it.

Minus Jaune, who, although didn't know, managed to recover quickly and though of something. "Damn girls, you are leaving me in a tight spot here" He said to gather everyone's attention. "I don't know if I can choose... Hey Yang, Who do you think should I chose out of the four of you?" He suddenly said smiling looking at the other blonde.

Yang looked confused for a second before blushing a little at the realization of what he said. "Wait, I'm an option?"

"Well... Yeah, you're pretty, strong and have a beautiful personality" He said calmly making her blush more. "Or... Are you saying..."

Suddenly, he disappeared in a burst of static, surprising everyone.

"...That you don't want to?" Jaune whispered to Yang's ear from behind her and Blake making them jump and blush, after that he backed out and started laughing.

All of them were gobsmacked at how he suddenly appeared there.

"Wha- How did you-?!" Weiss was the first one to recover and was about to ask until Jaune suddenly held his legs in apparent pain making the others worry.

"Jaune! What's wrong?!" Ruby asked quickly going by his side.

"Don't worry Rubes, I just didn't expect that to hurt so much" He reassured her and the others standing straight. 'Mental note: Reinforce legs when using sonido' He noted already used to the sudden name idea.

"If you say so..." Ruby said not completely convinced and so were the others.

Seeing that Jaune changed the subject. "Anyways. What do you think of my new move?" He said proudly.

Seeing what he wants to do Ren plays along. "It's... Extremely useful. When did you make it?"

"Just now" He said calmly.

"... Semblance info?" Pyrrha asked just to make sure.

"Yeah"

"... I'm starting to think your semblance is bullshit" Ren said pinching the bridge of his nose making Jaune laugh. "I was serious" He reaffirmed only making Jaune laugh harder.

After calming down a little he says smiling. "You sound just like Jade" He compared confusing team RWBY and team CFVY.

"...Who?" Ruby asked confused.

"She's one of my sisters..." As Jaune said that he remembered something. "... Oh fuck..." He muttered worriedly.

"What's up?" Yang asked worried by his tone.

"I have a holo-call with my family tomorrow..." He explained to his friends. "And they don't know about my injuries..."
