Work Text:

It was daylight in Mariner Bay, and the Eltarian Enforcers are searching for Rayne and the Lightspeed Resistance. As much as they wanted to end the stalemate between themselves and the Lightspeed group, they haven't been able to do so. There are humans in this Golden State town who has been secretly supporting them. Many of the humans here still remembered how many times that they have been rescued by Lightspeed Rescue. There are also Eltarians who have fond memories of when Lightspeed Rescue has came to their aid. For the most part, the humans there usually stay out of their way.

"When are we going to find them. They usually end up finding and fighting us," complained a golden armored Eltarian male. His commander, who is an Eltarian male doesn't blame him for complaining. There have been times when he wanted to complain about the waste of time that searching for the Lightspeed group are usually is. He usually kept quiet because he felt that he need to be a role model for the men and women working under him.

"It's our duty to search for these rebels, even if they once serve our people once. We also have a Power Ranger from another planet that have been able to remain free so far," said the commander. It was not the first time that he gave them these reminders, and it won't be the last time either. Then, his wrist searcher began to beep.

"There is someone with Morphing Grid energy nearby. Get ready to fight," ordered the commander. As he said those words. Rayne, a blonde female, appeared in front of them.

"I heard that you're looking for me. Here I am," said Rayne. Her hands began to glow white. She aimed both of her hands at the Eltarian Enforcers.

"Power of Light," said Rayne, as 2 white beams came out of her hands. It struck one of the enforcers. Suddenly the enforcers lifted up their swords. Rayne couldn't believe that these enforcers thought that swords would work against her. It's time to show them the truth.

"Power of light," said Rayne. Suddenly a bright white light covered the sky. It blinded the enforcers for a little while. It was enough to let her get away from them. The enforcers recover, but it was too late. Rayne has escaped from them again.

"What are we going to tell our superiors?" asked an armored Eltarian female. The commander knew that it's best if their superiors doesn't find out about this encounter. It would be best for everyone if their superiors doesn't know.

"We don't report this to our superiors. They can't get angry over our failures if they don't know about this encounter," said the commander. His men knew that it's best for their superiors doesn't find out about their failures. So, the decided together not to give out a report about this encounter. It was the smartest thing that they ever did. The end, for now.
