   Summary

   In which Long Feng, attempting to solidify his power over the Earth Kingdom, has a child in secret, and grooms her to be the next Grand Secretariat. An Earthbending prodigy, a practiced manipulator, and the perfect keeper of Ba Sing Se’s secrets, the Secretariat bestows upon her his own invented divine right to rule - all outside the eyes and ears of Kuei, the king fool.

   A few months after Xin Feng turns 14 - now working as the Secretariat's invented position of "Dai Li Magistrate" - Avatar Aang, the Last Airbender, arrives in Ba Sing Se, searching for one Earth King and one Sky Bison.
