Work Text:
Luigi was rocking back and forth rapidly, running one of his hands repeatedly through his hair and bouncing the other up and down in a repetitive motion.
He was always nervous showing this side of his disorder around others, but Bowser was always kind to him, not treating him like a burden or a child when he was overstimulated or having a meltdown.
That was more than he could say for his own parents.
Bowser sat with him through his meltdown, careful not to touch him or make any sort of loud noise, instead just adjusting the environment to accommodate his boyfriend's overloaded nervous system and making it clear that the man wasn't alone.
Eventually, when the meltdown was over, Luigi just sat wordlessly.
"Can't talk?" Bowser asked in a low voice. Luigi nodded. "Alright. That's alright" Bowser reassured. "How about ice cream and a movie, hm? Your pick" Another nod. "Alright. Wonderful"
