   Summary

   The Inner Circle is discussing whether Elain is ready to put her training into practice in a real Night Court mission to Vallahan. It was her idea after all, and she is more than ready to demonstrate she is more than capable of serving her court and doing something greater. She will not be alone, however. Morrigan, Nuala, and Cerridwen will be going with her for guidance and protection.

   By going to Vallahan on this mission, Elain was looking to find her purpose and take control of her life and destiny. At least that is what she told herself and others. More than anything, she also needed an excuse to get away from Velaris and HIM.

   The problem is, he is not ready to let her go just yet.
