   Summary

   Cynthia, a sharp-toothed and sharp-tongued hybrid, struggles to find self-acceptance as she navigates a world that is set on despising her. However, she is not as alone as she might think. Greene, an equally troubled teen, is stuck as he attempts to escape a self-made cage of isolation.

   Refusing to give in, one buries her vulnerability behind a scornful face and prickly personality as a means to shield herself; while the other chooses to watch from afar, searching for a truth that may not exist.
