The battle was over.
The battle between Pure vanilla and Shadow milk.
Even though the other cookies celebrated the win, it felt like a battle he lost. He wanted Shadow milk to be his friend, not a defeated enemy. It hurts knowing that Shadow milk was still out there…without him…suffering.
It's been almost a month now—a month since he saw Shadow milk.

While on a picnic break on the field with the three young cookies. Pure vanilla discovers that Shadow milk was here before.
Word went around quickly and came to the attention of his friends, who decided to make a grim decision—to go with Plan B that Pure vanilla didn't know about:
Hunt down and kill Shadow Milk and the other beasts once and for all.
But Pure Vanilla’s heart shatters. Shadow Milk is someone Pure Vanilla can’t bear to lose.
So he hides him and tries to convince his friends to do something else in a desperate attempt.
