As LANVP's claws dug deeper into TXL's scales, TXL blood pooling under their pristine claws, they suddenly realized something.

They where in love with TXL.

LANVP suddenly released TXL from the grip they had on them, letting out a shaky, breathy, sigh. TXL took a few steps back, clutching their bloody wounds.
"Why did you release me..?" TXL words sound forced and choked.
"I realized something about myself, TXL. I realized that I love you. I loved you more than anything in this world."
LANVP looked away from TXL, a shameful blush on their red and black face scales.

TXL started at LAVNP with shock, and a subtle hint of blush, on their green and black face scales. 
"You... Love me..?" 
LANVP suddenly grasps TXL's claws in their own, bringing their face closer to theirs. 
"Yes, I'm in love with you TXL. Have been for a while now."
TXL's blush deepened slightly, and they tilted their head to the side avoid LANVPS gaze.
"Oh wow.. I don't know how to feel.."
LANVP suddenly pulls TXL closer, moving their limbs to the beat of imaginary music.
"Then don't feel anything. Just please, have on last dance with me."

As the two of them dance, TXL realizes that they too, are in love with the other.
"LANVP, I was thinking and I.." 
TXL paused what they where saying as LANVP pressed a single claw to their lips.
"No need to say anything. I already know what you're going to say"
And with those words, the two of them continue their dance. Sure, their wasn't any music to help aid this moment, but that was okay.
There didn't need to be music for the two of them to have a good time.

After a little while of their dancing, LANVP suddenly released TXL from their grip.
"It's a shame that we are enemies. If we weren't.. Who knows, maybe we could've been fated lovers."
LANVP steps closer to TXL once more, but this time it didn't seem friendly, as their claws where poised for an attack.
"I really don't wan't to do this, but it is what must happen for the good of Sonaria."
TXL is overcome with fear as they take rushed steps backwards.
"W-Wait! LANVP please! We may be enemies but there has to be a way!"
TXL was terrified. They weren't ready to die quite yet.

"I'm sorry, TXL. But there isn't any way for us to remain together in this world."
LANVP has a sorrowful look in their eyes, but regardless they move closer.
"As much as I want to keep you alive and fall more in love, that is simply not possible. Enemies in this world are bound to fight eternally."
Tears well in LANVPS eyes as they speak, regretting their actions as they make them.

A look of realization crossed over TXL's face at LANVP's words, turning their gaze downwards.
"You're right. This world holds no place for enemies to co-exist peacefully."
TXL suddenly took a step closer to LANVP, their body dancing around theirs.
"It really is a shame. But at least there is a chance for us to meet in another life. No matter how slim that chance is."
TXL stopped in front of LANVP once more, their green eyes gazing into their red ones.
"Kill me, end both of our pains right now. You have my full permission."


LANVP looks shocked for a moment before giving a sorrowful nod.
"Your wish is my command."

In the blink of an eye, TXL lay dead at LANVP's feet. Their blood staining LANVP's claws.
"I'm sorry it had to be this way my love. You'll be in my memory forevermore."

LANVP then walked away, not able to stand another second to look at TXL's corpse.
