Summary
In a last-ditch effort to prevent the total massacre of Paradis island by the Marlyean military, the Paradisian government struck up a deal with the aggressing country: they would provide military aid to Marley in the form of weapons, intelligence, soldiers, and the promise that the Founders power would not be used against Marley in return for its independence upon Marley’s victory. There was one asset offered up by Paradis that the Marleyans coveted just as much as the Founder: Captain Levi Ackerman of the Survey Corps. Highly skilled. Highly intelligent. Highly lethal.
