Notes:

I've been seeing a surge of Regina and Rodrick edits on my for you page on tiktok, and this has inspired me to make a fanfic for them, with my own little twist.
I hope you all enjoy and I will attempt to upload chapters as often as I can, I'm planning on keeping this story fairly shorter (around 15-30 short chapters).
Thank you to anyone keeping up with this story and if you have any suggestions, comment them! ⠀
(fyi I'm uploading this same fanfic on wattpad if you would prefer to read there, thx)

Chapter 1: ♡

Chapter Text

"Regina, I am up and tired with all of your drama and your lies. I cannot fathom that you'd keep lying to your own father after how I've raised you since you were younger! Just because your mother has spiralled out of control doesn't mean you continue down with her! She's an old woman, you're a small child!" Regina's father snapped at her but she just stood there with her arms crossed and her eyes rolling at her father's overdramatic tantrum.

Noticing the obvious lecture passing by her head, her father had no choice but to threaten her with items that were precious to her, "If you don't stop lying to me from now on, I am going to sell your pink Lamboghini and your room returns back to me and your mother."

Regina quickly snapped out of her careless mode and got switched on after the obvious threat against her own items. How could he threaten her daily essentials? She can't live life like a poor person, what was her father thinking? She couldn't stay quiet against this obvious injustice towards her.

"Huh? That's not fair at all! What was the last thing I lied to you about!!!" Regina shouted back at her father and he seemed unimpressed.

"This morning when you told me that you fed the dog. He wasn't fed at all, he was chewing on your mother's placebo breasts for a good 30 minutes until she came into reality again and realised. I told you on Saturday mornings it's your job to feed the damned dog. It's your dog after all." Her father explained and Regina replayed that morning in her head.

"UGHHHHHHHHH. You cannot be serious right now. Look daddy~ I promise I won't lie to you anymore. Pinky promise!!" Regina replied in desperation.

"I don't trust you at all, I've given you countless chances which you've just disregarded like it's trash. Am I even respected as your father anymore?" He asked and she turned all quiet, yet her anger was clear and plain.

"Come onnnnnn! Of course I do respect you!!" She replied in annoyance, not knowing how else to reply.

"You have until next month. 25th of October, I have a business ordeal in which my business partner has a daughter the same age as you. She would like to go on a double date with you and your boyfriend, and this would benefit my business ordeal if you were to do this so I can secure another $1.2 million dollars for my new business idea." her father instructed her, like she had no choice.

"Boyfriend?" Regina's eyebrow twitched for a moment as she had a replay from the last week of summer when she just got a phone call from Aaron, telling her that he is breaking up with her because he caught her cheating on him with Shane Oman, once again.

It wasn't Regina's fault this time, she did tell Shane that she was happily in a relationship but he just wouldn't back off her. Especially during that one football match, he just looked so hot whilst passing the ball over and pushing away all those lowlife footballers. He just looked so perfect with his sweaty face and him pushing his hair back. So really, it just wasn't Regina's fault. Maybe Aaron's fault for not pleasuring her the right way. Shane had a touch to him that Aaron just didn't have. He was just big on actual love and feelings, and Regina just isn't that way.

"Yes, I know you have a boyfriend so at least bring him to use and I'll let you keep your pink lamboghini. But because of your tantrums this morning," her father showed her, her pink car keys with her heart keychains on it, and he placed it into his pocket.

"What! You can't do that! How am I supposed to get to school?!" Regina shrieked and her mother came over to her room and just observed what was going on, almost like her husband had her on a leash.

"Go walk. You spoiled brat." He finished and walked out of her room and her mother followed him.

Her screams radiated through the house for 10 minutes as she ran around her room, bashing and breaking anything in her sight. How dare he actually do it this time! He just kept doing empty threats until now! And she needs to find a boyfriend! And she's going to lose her royal status in school!

"FUCK YOU DAD, I HATE YOU SO MUCH I WISH YOU'D DIE!!!" Regina yelled some more to relieve her own anger, but he didn't seem to respond to her yelling so she just stopped and stomped around her room to find a solution to her god-awful circumstances.

She picked up the telephone from her bedside and frustatedly plugged in numbers and the telephone began ringing.

"Hey slut." Regina said once the ringing had stopped.

"You've got to stop answering the phone like that, it's so not fetch!" Gretchen said from across the line.

"Oh, shut up. I need you to pick me up tomorrow morning for school. My fucking sick bastard of a dad took my pink lambo." Regina scowled.

"Oh my gosh! How could he! I will pick you up tomorrow morning for sure, you can't arrive to school from summer break with no car. People will assume that you're broke!" Gretchen replied.

"Don't even remind me about it. He also told me I have to bring a boyfriend to his business dinner next month but Aaron broke up with me last week. I need to find another boyfriend." Regina muttered, kissing her lips.

"Oh my gosh, this is so not fetch. Let me add Karen and Cady!" Gretchen jabbered.

"Gretchen! Stop trying to make fetch happen. It's. Not. Going. To. Happen." Regina sassed.

"What's up girlfriends." Karen spoke through the phone and Cady asked the same.

"Regina needs to find a boyfriend for next month because her dad told her that he has a business dinner to attend." Gretchen yapped.

"You forgot the worst part of it! He took away my pink lambo until the business dinner!!" Regina howled.

"Regina, you need to find some guy who will come to the business dinner but use it as a way to make Aaron jealous. Can you imagine his face if he sees you kissing up another guy?" Karen claimed.

"But I was doing that with Shane Oman in the mall. Aaron was there and he just walked past like nothing happened. UGH!" Regina thundered.

"Well maybe Shane Oman isn't the right guy to make Aaron jealous with anymore. Maybe you need to find a different person who will definately make Aaron rethink his decision to break up with you." Cady deduced and Regina didn't ever think about that at all.

"I just thought all guys can make other guys jealous." Regina answered.

"Not at all. If you find someone who's the whole opposite from Aaron, then he'll assume that you're fully over him and he'll start getting jealous over the fact he doesn't have you anymore." Cady explained and Regina got a bold idea to find one of those social freaks on the first day of school and prey on them like a predator hunting for food.

"Thank you Cadycat you're so smart. You bitches better help me find a guy to rebound with on Monday. Right now I'm going to go and have my beauty sleep. Bye bitches." Regina effused as she cut the call.

She knows exactly what she's going to be doing on Monday, and she will checkmate her father at his horrible decisions.

Chapter 2: ♡

Chapter Text

Regina woke up with a clear vision in her head about what she's attempting to do today and of course she had to dress up for the occasion. She pulled out her tight pink t-shirt and decided to pair it with one of her shortest miniskirts, which was black with small polka dots of blue, red, green and yellow. She wore her sexiest black heels and made sure her hair was all perfect. She decided to pair her outfit with golden hoop earrings and put on her pink glossiest lipstick she had. She grabbed her brown and black handbag and was already out the door. Before she left however, she sprayed on her strongest and best smelling perfume so she could interest any guy around her.

Once she got outside, she saw Gretchen sitting inside her black roof-less car waiting for Regina. She strutted down towards the car and pushed Gretchen into the passenger seat and she began driving to school.

"Regina you look absolutely gorgeous." Gretchen admired her.

"Tell me something I don't already know." she rolled her eyes.

Whilst she was driving on the road, she turned up the radio and it was playing "Milkshake" by Kelis, one of Regina's favourite songs. This was the perfect way to start the day and she soon arrived at school. Gretchen stayed quiet next to her, not to ruin Regina's good mood this morning. Regina hummed along with the lyrics on the song and Gretchen was occupied by putting on her lip gloss so intricately. Soon enough, their little trip came to a halt as they unfortunately reached their destination. They both parked the car and met up with Karen and Cady once they arrived at school.

"Hey bitches." Regina smirked.

"Are you ready to find your next boyfriend?" Karen giggled and Regina signalled them to start walking through the hallway.

All in a line, they strutted across the hallway and Regina could feel all the eyes on her and she just loved this attention so much. All these people kept pushing each other against the lockers to let the Plastics come through, that's just how much royalty they had in the school. Regina was the leader of the whole school, anything she does is so influential that all the girls in junior year will simply copy her without a second thought. She's just so prestigious, she needs to find a mediocre guy to rile Aaron snobby Samuels up, and make him envious as fuck.

"Who do you think Regina can wrap around her finger?" Gretchen asked whilst keeping her eyes pulled apart seeing anyone who's good enough for Regina.

"Michael Kils?" Karen questioned and Regina made the most disgusted face.

"I heard he pissed all over the floor in Winston's party. EW!" Gretchen replied.

"Oh what about Winston Wall?" Karen asked.

"Are you looking at his choppy haircut?" Gretchen wretched.

"Ethan Rollers?" Cady suggested after noticing he was staring deeply at Regina.

"No he got with Tracy Paak and had a threesome the next day. Too weird." Regina debunked.

It felt like all these guys were too mediocre, too disloyal or they were just straight up strange. It felt like Regina had no one that she could get back at Aaron with, and she's totally screwed for when the business dinner comes. What is she supposed to do now?

"I'm super sure I heard that there's new people who are moving here from Massachusettes. Jason was telling me all about it last night." Gretchen giggled and Regina was not impressed.

"UGH Gretchen stop being such a slut. But that's interesting to find out because maybe there's some new hot guys that come here. Aaron wouldn't ever expect that." Regina smirked, still clutching to the tiny glint of hope that these new kids will have someone she's searching for.

"I'm going to English, see you sluts later." Regina waved at them and strutted down the corridor and into her English class.

All the boys were pushing and shoving each other to sit next to Regina but she was completely unbothered as she just got out her nail filer and started filing down her nails. 'They are looking weirdly shaped, I should've filed them last night', she thought to herself. As soon as she heard the classroom door shut, she batted her eyes up to the teacher and noticed that it wasn't the teacher, infact it was some random kid. He had this scruffy brown hair which was chopped so unevenly that it looked like some toddler cut his hair. And not to mention his face, he had eyeliner on that was rubbed on so bad that it made him look like a ridiculous panda. He had dozens of bracelets on his wrists and he was wearing these awfully draggy clothes that looked like they were going to fall off his body at any moment, the only thing keeping his pants up was a tacky belt he had put on. One tug at his pants and it was game over, Regina chuckled whilst thinking about the embarrassment he would have to endure with that. Then Regina observed him get the chalk for the chalkboard and he scribbled a huge dick down on the board. Everyone started laughing and some girls in the back were gossiping about who the fuck this dude was, and why he was making his first impression like this.

"Uh-uhm. What is going on here." the english teacher, Ms Brentley walked in and Regina smirked.

What an idiot of a guy.

"Oh uhm." the stupid guy scratched his head as he backed away from the chalkboard.

"I never thought I would've given a detention 10 minutes into the new year, but you have a detention afterschool for this.. utterly despicable behaviour. On another note, this is the new student joining us today. Rodrick Heffley. Take a seat." Ms Brentley said unimpressed as she wiped away his vulgar drawings off the chalkboard.

'Rodrick Heffley. I am definately putting him into the burn book once I get home', Regina thought to herself as Rodrick walked past her desk to sit directly behind her. She got a smell of him and he smelled like strong cologne, which was strange to her because he looked like he'd smell of a trashcan. His cologne had hues of musky vanilla, vodka and a tiny scent of cigarette smoke. Ah he smokes, gross.

All lesson he seemed to mess around by throwing scrunched papers around and throwing pens at other guys. Ms Brentley didn't notice since she was facing the opposite direction, until Rodrick threw a gluestick to a guy across the class but he accidentally hit Aaron instead. Aaron let out a groan of pain and Rodrick breathed through his teeth as he didn't expect that to happen.

"Who threw that gluestick?!" Ms Brentley immediately could tell after she looked at Rodrick's malicious smirk and giggling laughter.

"Out of my classroom now Heffley!!!" Ms Brentley yelled and Rodrick got up and dragged his bag across the class, outside.

"Go to the nurse's office Aaron." she told Aaron, who was wincing in pain, in a soft voice.

The rest of class was a blur, just a bunch of talk about Shakespeare. Who even cares about Shakespeare, he's just a dead man who wrote plays, there's not much more to it. 'Let the dead man rest and stop bringing his name up', Regina thought to herself. Once class finally came to the end, then Regina got up and grabbed her purse and exited. As soon as she left, the hallway was filled with a group of girls who were fangirling over Regina's outfit today, she got bombarded with questions and compliments. She just pushed her long, blonde hair behind her shoulder as she walked past them.

Regina soon saw Janis Ian, walking across the opposite side of the hall from her, talking with that Rodrick guy. Rodrick seemed to be carrying some stones in his hands and genuinely Regina couldn't even try and guess what he was going to do with those. He, immediately, threw the stones up at the lights and the broken glass fell all over the floor and Janis pushed him to signal that Regina was there. Although, he didn't seem to care, so Janis walked away from him like she didn't know who he was.

"Yo Janis hold up lemme kill another one." he yelled trying to catch up to Janis.

"So now lights have lifes that you want to take away from them? Fun to know Rodrick." Janis said with a straight face as Rodrick hit another light.

As soon as that light shattered all over the floor, Mr Duvall sprinted into the hallway and Rodrick glanced over and started to sprint.

"Oh shit, run Janis!" he said leaving her all behind to catch up with him.

"THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU SCUMBAG." she screamed, tailing behind him.

"Get back here this instant the both of you!" Mr Duvall shouted, practically to himself because they were long gone.

Regina just continued walking down the hallway and soon made it to the cafeteria to find the other Plastics. She found them sitting at their table so she joined them and Gretchen seemed to be telling some random gossip that she heard all around school.

"Oh Regina I know who the new kids are. One's name is Anna Coleman, but she's one of those freaks." Gretchen pointed at the freaks table and there sat Anna Coleman.

She had straight, red hair with white skunk highlights. She was wearing a bands shirt, with red sleeves, and she wore black flare jeans underneath that. She had a handbag which genuinely looked like she pulled it up from the trashcan outside the school with the amount of gross stains that covered that bag. She was currently throwing cheese puffs into Damian's mouth, like a mini basketball game.

"And the other guy is-" Gretchen started before Regina interrupted.

"Rodrick Heffley." She announced, in a tone of annoyance.

"How do you know about him? Is he in your classes?" Karen asked.

"He's in my english class. That dickhead was being such an annoyance, worse than a bee buzzing right next to your ear." Regina explained.

"You know Regina, Rodrick might be the perfect guy to get back at Aaron with." Cady deduced but Regina's immediate reaction to that information was hideous.

"Cady, why don't you shut up." Regina sharply said and Karen's face was one of shock.

"But Regina she's right-" Gretchen yapped before Regina hissed in anger.

"I am not going for that trashbag." Regina angrily got up and left the table.

"What do we do now, she just left." Karen asked Gretchen and Cady.

"I don't know. I think she's just angry, just leave her alone for now." Gretchen said before she sprung onto another topic.

"Hey you know Cady, that Anna chick kinda looks like you. Don't you think Karen?" Gretchen stated.

"Ohh yeah she's right. She has the same red hair as you. Do you think she's from Africa too?" Karen agreed.

"Karen you cannot keep asking people if they're from Africa. Gosh." Gretchen replied.

"She does kinda look like me, now that you say it." Cady said, taking a bite out of her cheese and lettuce sandwich.
