Brochan was never meant to go through hell and back without getting himself changed. His first time was never meant to meet him and left without marking his very soul. As he stumbled through adolescence, he did not know every experience would mold him, leaving marks that would teach him to embrace the pain.
Nobody was there to teach him how to heal, and nobody ever taught him he could be saved.
Perhaps, in the end, Brochan was never meant to be saved. Doomed from the start, he tried to survive in a world where it was kill or be killed.
