They all were having fun, it was movies night at the Dreemurr house with the Holidays.
"Mom, mom, can we go play hide and seek outside? Pleaseee". Noelle, December's little sister was begging to Carol, her mom.
"Darling, it's very dark at these hours, you or Kris could get lost" Carol answered.
"Mama, don't worry about it, me and Azzy are going to take care of them" December confidently told her.
Carol looked at his husband, Toriel and Asgore and asked them if everyone agrees about the kids going out at night, they did.
So Kris, Noelle, December and Asriel, walked outside, the stars were shining and every light was off in the town, pretty dark but not that dark to bump into everything.
They decided to play near the church and agreed to don't hide that far from it.
Nobody really liked to be the seeker so they played rock, paper and scissors, and the winner would seek for the others, it was December.
"20, 19, 18, 17..." December started counting.
Asriel walked into the cemetery and hid behind a Tombstone.
"9, 8, 7..."
Noelle ran behind a big christmas tree next to the town hall
"4, 3, 2, 1.."
And Kris, Kris wasn't sure where to hide, they decided to hide behind the trees near the shelter.
"Ready or not! Here i go!" December announced.
She found Noelle and minutes later, she found Asriel, but, she couldn't find Kris.
10 minutes passed.
20 minutes passed.
30 minutes passed.
The three of them were starting to get really worried.
"Kris, Kris you win! You hide the best, now get out!" December yelled so that Kris could hear her.
Kris, who was perfectly hid behind the trees giggled to themselves, they were going out but.
They saw something.
A pointy tail, they didn't knew why, but, they walked, they walked towards it, when they were close enough to it, they saw it.
It looked back at them and the tail grabbed they leg, they screamed.
December heard the scream. She told Asriel to stay right there with Noelle while she goes with Kris to see what happened. Asriel didn't seem to like that idea too much but still agreed.
December ran into the direction of where the screaming was coming from and
There was Kris
And there was that thing
Her mind couldn't really process what was she seeing so she acted by instinct, by adrenaline, she jumped onto it and yelled some insults, but it was heard like mumbling, she was really scared too but had to protect them.
The thing that looked like a shadow but had a weird consistense, finally left Kris alone, but not her.
It.
It took her.
It took her into the woods.
Silence, silence was the only thing that could be heard, not even insects, and also the fastened heartbeat of Kris, their sobbing, their steps, running away, and later, the police sirens all over the place.
They couldn't find her.
