Chapter Text
It was a few hours after Theater bot got imprisoned by those pricks, no one was around, he might as well try to escape somehow. It's not as easy as escaping from chains, takes a lot more time than that.
As soon as Theatre bot was gonna attempt to escape someone entered the house, just his luck. Was this hopeless? Probably.
Theater bot immediately sat down to act as if he wasn't literally just attempting to escape. But suddenly Theater bot noticed it wasn't any of the assholes that imprisoned him, it was someone else, someone he had never seen.
"Who are you?" Theater bot spoke up, couldn't hurt to ask, maybe they would help, but that probably wouldn't happen.
The entity quickly came to the voice, Theater bot. He was confused, why was this bot in a jail cell? So he decided to ask, could have answered Theater bot's question at least. "Why are you in a jail cell. Why can't you just get out."
Theater bot was dumbfounded, those words 'why can't you just get out.' confused him, it's not that easy as you think. "Maybe because im locked up. Why don't you think about that? Besides you didn't answer my question. Who are you."
He quickly answered "I'm Maturin and how would I know you're just locked up? Why can't you just.. ask for help? I suppose I could help." Maturin came closer to the jail cell, waiting for an answer.
Theater bot got slightly annoyed by those ridiculous questions and words, this Maturin guy was simply as stupid as a rock, so Theater bot started speaking. "Well Maturin, I'm Theater bot and you seem like a quite dumb creature but I suppose a little help won't hurt, so could you maybe help me get out of this god forsaken prison." Maybe Theater bot shouldn't have been so rude. No he totally deserves that, just look at him.
Maturin was quite a bit pissed off, rude much. Being rude might as well just make people not help you, but fine, maybe he's just misunderstood. Maturin would start to question Theater bot, whenever he's trustworthy or not. Regardless he asked Theater bot. "You know you don't have to be rude, what if people refuse to help because you're being kind of an asshole? But okay, I will help you but you need to tell me how or at least do it with me, I can't be doing all the work."
Theater was a tad bit guilty, maybe he was too rude, Maturin is right, what if people don't help? Yeah, he should act kind so people can help him and after that he can continue being himself, like people say he's 'rude', and so Theater bot explained how to help him. "So basically originally I was gonna..."
In Maturin's eyes this conversation was so extremely boring, is he going to ramble like that forever? Why doesn't he just get straight to the point? It's not that hard. Because Maturin was so lost in his thoughts, Theater bot's rambling was just mumbling to him, so he just didn't listen until Theater bot stopped speaking.
Theater bot asked Maturin. "Do you understand? It's really easy to do, I'm sure you can do it. Unless you're incredibly stupid which I hope you aren't."
Maturin flinched, oh god. He wasn't listening at all, he doesn't know what to do. He's going to have to improvise. Maturin quickly thought of an excuse. "Uh, how about we do my idea? It's uh, way faster and easier, oh and best part is, you don't have to do anything!"
Theater bot was surprised, he didn't expect that, an idea that's better than his? Most likely false, his ideas are the best, no one has better ideas. "Hmm, fine do it! But it better be fast!"
Maturin panicked and quickly tried lock picking the lock, luckily for him the lock wasn't that hard to lock pick it and he opened it, he was surprised it unlocked so easily, he expected the lock to be complex and hard because well... Because it's the trio, they overcomplicate things, especially the clown one, she creeps him out.
Theater bot quickly ran out of the jail cell as soon as Maturin unlocked it, no thank you, no nothing, he just ran off, until Maturin yelled at him. "You're not even going to thank me?!" Theater bot stopped. He looked at Maturin, guilty as a dog. "My sincerest apologies, I did not mean to appear rude. I was simply sick of that jail cell, it was tiring, thank you for helping me Maturin. Goodbye." Theater bot tried getting away from Maturin once again but Maturin still had one more thing to ask so he grasped Theater bot by the arm. "Wait. Please. Can you answer just one thing for me? I beg you." Theater bot looked at Maturin, such foolish actions just to ask him something, it will be something stupid, it has to be. But why wouldn't Theater bot answer it? Theater bot can answer anything, he's the greatest after all. No one can out best him. "Alright, what is it that you may ask? Sure hope it's not stupid, like you." Maturin couldn't get mad at that, it is already obvious that Theater bot just simply has too much of an ego. That's okay, he can handle that... Regardless he has to ask Theater bot an important question, at least it was important to him.. unfortunately Theater bot will most likely think it's stupid. Maturin hesitantly asked Theater bot. "Do you think my appearance looks scary? Or am I ugly? Or both..?? Please I need to know, it's important for me to know. It doesn't matter to me that it's stupid, just answer it and you can go." Theater bot was quite confused, what kind of question is that? But at least it's a very easy answer, well.. not really. It's complicated. But Theater bot attempts to answer Maturin regardless. "It depends. But for me you're quite ugly, scary? Absolutely not, you're just ugly. It's just my opinion." Theater bot was honest, but not completely honest, he would say worse. But he didn't, because Maturin helped him. Would be really bad if he was brutally honest, it's just too much to say to a person who helped him, not worth it. To say the least, Maturin was disappointed, he didn't expect that answer, but oh of course, it's Theater bot, he thinks he's better than everyone, why wouldn't he call everyone ugly besides him, Maturin isn't ugly right. He's perfectly fine, it's just Theater bot. Maturin was thinking for so long he didn't even notice Theater bot has already left. Well that was quick. That interaction was so confusing to say the least. If only Maturin wasn't so stupid, would be so much better, but what else could he do?
Maturin was so lost he didn't see the time, it was late and soon enough the trio came. Z, Regect and Moe. Great, more trouble.
They all immediately noticed Maturin just standing there, so weirdly, soon enough they noticed Theater bot wasn't there so they quickly ran towards Maturin to question him. Z spoke up first "Where the fuck is that stupid Theater bot?! You helped him escape, didn't you?!" Regect threw in his words too. "What an asshole." Maturin jumped, he didn't mean anything horrible, he didn't want any trouble but here he is... He quickly defended himself by lying. "Uh, he escaped himself! I swear I didn't do anything, I just saw that he ran away." They didn't wanna believe him but Moe felt bad so she tried telling Z and regect to just let him go, it's not worth it, maybe he was innocent. Maturin was waiting for an answer. Z looked defeated and so he answered. "Fine, just go. But you better have something to tell me about Theater bot if you ever see him again, he's an asshole." Maturin quickly went away from Regect's house, he's never going back there, he doesn't want any trouble, it's too tiring to handle arguments. He'd rather have a nice talk, obviously, because isn't that what everyone wants? Sure is, but Theater bot probably thinks otherwise, he most likely thinks getting praised is the better thing, better than having anyone. Maturin wants to know, how much of an asshole Theater bot actually is? Because even Moe was quite angry, it is unusual to see Moe upset, is Theater bot that bad? Moe couldn't have been mad at just a simple insult, it's something worse and Maturin wants to know.
