Chapter Text
Hello! I couldn't find any Alya fics, I hope the rest of her (probably nonexistent) fans like the fic TvT! Sorry if its not that good either, I tried
The streets of Grece bustled as Alya wandered through them, various sounds and smells drifting through the air. Her mom, Nyssa, had obviously tried to stop her from going, saying that it wasn't safe for her, but she hadn't listened, she didn't care, she went anyways. She wasn’t looking for a nice, relaxing trip though, she was here to help fight for the rights of the queer people here. While making her way to her hotel room, her phone buzzed and she begrudgingly pulled it out of her pocket and answered.
“Alya! Are you ok? How are you doing? Are you safe? Do you need help?” a mirage of questions bombarding the poor girl
“No mom, I don't need help, I’m fine, you don’t need to worry so much. It’s nice here, the food’s good, the people aren’t too mean, and my hotel room’s nice” She murmurs into the phone, expecting as much from her mother, yet not too bothered by it
“Alright, that's good” Nyssa says, sighing in relief “Remember to call me if ever something happens” she says, her voice stern yet worried, slightly muffled from the static of the phone
“Yeah yeah, I know mom” the usual, she understood, but it was a bit annoying sometimes
“Good, I’m here with your cousin Damian, he’s grown-” The rest of her mom’s words were ignored, fading out as she thought about her cousin. What was her mom doing in Gotham? Why was she with him? Alya had never met Damian before, he seemed scary.
“Damian? Oh... uhm... how’s he doing?” She asks tentatively, entering the hotel lobby, checking in and heading to her room.
“Oh, he’s fine, he’s gotten better at fighting over the years, you should come meet him soon” the sound of a chair being pulled out from somewhere and a grunt came from her mother's side of the call
“Maybe sometime, anyways, I gotta go” Alya says, entering her hotel room. “I’ll talk to you later, love you” she says before hanging up.
The room was comfy enough, a small bed, tv, washroom, closet and window being the main eye catchers. “Jeez, not much to really do here” she murmured to herself, unpacking her belongings. Hours were blissfully spent watching movies, scrolling on her phone, reading and snacking on food before a loud bang was heard near the heart of the city. “Shit, what was that?” She mumbled, quickly getting up and looking out her window.
The long-awaited riot had already started, she didn't even notice! Obviously she had to go help, that was the entire point of the trip. She quickly made her way through the winding alleys, eventually finding her way to the road where the riot was taking place.
That's all for now! :3 might upload another chapter later
