Chapter Text
So it all started in the multiverse and the bad and star sanses were still fighting against each other. None of them knew that an Au was blooming right under their noses that would change everything. So let's go back to this sanses origin. So he was a soul in an incomplete world of code and bugs. This sans we'll call code for now since it doesn't have a name yet. So Code was somewhat conscious but was incomplete. It had a few sprites done of itself and some magic if you can even call it that. He never got dialogue or stats so he was essentially immortal in a way.
It didn't have meaning, purpose, thoughts or emotions of its own. It sat in a forgotten folder labeled as (Undertale) an incomplete mess of code and disappointment. It was clearly abandoned and scrapped because it was too difficult to finish. It sat in a world of darkness and folders. After a while it began to move and its sprites were jerky and emotionless. It put out his “hand” it was more like code but it had to do and clicked on a folder titled (frisk) and a lifeless being fell to the ground unmoving and nowhere near finished. It had a complete soul and its inner workings were finished.
Code didn't know or understand what it was or meant but took its code from it. Then something happened and the soul’s code was now part of itself. It was given memories that weren't its own that didn't happen, it went like….

Once long ago a tale of peace between humans and monsters. Living in perfect harmony but humans let their fear take control and the harmony crashed down into violence and pain. And then monsters lost and sealed away in a mountain called…
ERROR404: CODE CAN NOT BE REACHED :(
A screen read when it appeared in front of Code. It was like a pop-up and it made a computer sound when it opened. Code didn't react because he didn't have the code for it. Then another pop-up opened and it read.
<(CHOSE TO RESET)/>
>YES NO
Code didn't understand what it meant but clicked yes on the pop up in front of it… and it faded into black suddenly. Then a tab of a window opens up and the screen shows a name like the one you were in…
Now playing UNDERTALE…
Code sits on the bottom of the window. His sprite of sitting wasn't finished so he was just code. Then the code of the unfinished game overrides the game. It was a mess of unfinished code and mechanics so it was impossible to play and comprehend. The code covered the screen as it tried working then another pop-up opened and it read
~\UNDERTALE.EXE NOT RESPONDING/~
>{WAIT}
{CLOSE UNDERTALE.EXE}
Code not wanting to wait pushed {CLOSE UNDERTALE.EXE} and it didn't know why it did that. It had a sense of something it couldn't explain. (it couldn't anyway if it even understood) It had a will to continue on even if there was nothing for it but the feeling didn't care. So soon code now back in the Undertale folder was opening files of different things to see what it was or maybe to even take. The first things it went after was the folder called (Boss Monsters). Code opened the folder and there was 9 files which were…
(TORIEL)
(PAPYRUS)
(UNDYNE)
(MUFFET)
(METTETON)
(ASGORE)
(OMAGA FLOWEY)
(ASRIEL DREMURR/GOD OF HYPERDEATH)
(SANS)
Code looked at the files but especially the sans file. Code clicked on it and it was just its own folder.
Name: Sans
Age: unknown
Gender: Corrupted
Description: is a short skeleton who wears a blue hoodie, white shirt, black and a stripe down the side shorts and white socks with pink or white slippers. Is lazy and likes to make puns.
Code looked at the name and decided it was gonna use sans as a placeholder for its name. So Sans noticed another pop-up opening. It was an ad for watches but was on this search engine called Google and Sans clicked on it and tried typing something in but failed since he wasn't complete he was unable to talk or write. Sans put his finger to the description of his file and held it there wondering if it was gonna do anything and it did. A blue surrounded its words and then a box appeared of…
(Cut)
(Copy)
(Paste)
Sans clicked copy because it looked a bit more pleasing to look at and the blue disappeared. After a while of playing around with it wondering what he just did. Sans eventually clicked on the space bar and hit (paste) and his description went into the space bar. It immediately looked it up and it saw colors of blue, white and pink. The page filled up with letters it couldn't understand but the colors were so pretty to see and look at. Now Sans had the power of the Internet and what he would do with it will be a matter of time.
