Don't threaten me with a good time

Summary:

Abolish had a rough day at work.

Scott is here to fix that.

Notes:

this could be seen as a prequel to the last one, or just a standalone!

Work Text:

Abolish pushed open the door to his dark apartment, running a hand through his split hair before sighing.

Getting new vampires registered with the organization was probably his least favorite part of the job.

So much goddamn paperwork.

He flicked on the lightswitch next to the door and shrugged off his suitjacket, hanging it on the nearby hook. Abolish turned around, immediately met with the sight of Scott, leaning against the doorframe that led into the rest of his apartment.

What the hell was he doing here?

Abolish rubbed the side of his face. “Scott-”

“That’s my name,” he quipped cheekily.

He sighed. “I’m not in the mood for this right now. I gave you that permission for emergencies, so unless it’s that, I don’t want to hear it.”

“I always consider my own boredom quite the emergency, but even if you don’t, it still seems like I’ve arrived in the nick of time.” Scott crossed his arms. “You look like you need some stress relief.”

“Please leave, Scott,” Abolish gave him a pointed look, crossing the entry towards the doorway that Scott was actively blocking, attempting to move past him into the rest of his apartment.

Scott’s fingers hooked into the collar of his shirt, pulling him back. His back pressed against the doorframe, forcing him to tilt his head up slightly to look at Scott.

“Really?” he deadpanned.

Scott smirked, pressing a kiss to Abolish’s cheek, just under his eye. “You know, someone told me I’m a wonderful distraction.”

“Wonder who said that,” Abolish mused.

“You did.”

“I’m certain I didn’t say wonderful.”

“I’m paraphrasing,” Scott murmured, tilting Abolish’s chin up before kissing him. It was softer than most of the stints he usually pulled.

Abolish’s hands settled on his sides, feeling the tension begin to evaporate from his shoulders.

He hated when Scott was right.

They parted after a moment, a smug look on Scott’s face. “Told you.”

“Shut up,” Abolish grumbled.

“Make me.”

He gladly obliged, drawing Scott into another kiss, one of his hands sliding to his back. Scott reached past him, to the second switch in the entry, and flipped it off, plunging them into darkness.

Abolish found he didn’t mind.

The two of them stumbled away from the doorframe and into the apartment. One of Scott’s hands carded through Abolish’s hair, the other following the path of his spine, causing gooseflesh to prickle on his back.

The back of Abolish’s legs found the armrest of the couch, and the two of them toppled over it, landing on the small couch. They were both too tall for this, but it was either this or the floor.

Abolish’s back wouldn’t forgive him for the latter.

Scott pulled away, tugging at Abolish’s tie as his mouth trailed down his throat, open-mouthed kisses left in his wake. Abolish bit back a groan, one of his hands slipping under Scott’s shirt and trailing across his ribs.

Scott unbuttoned the collar of his shirt, kisses trailing down to the hollow of his throat.

Abolish sat up slightly, pushing himself up onto his elbows and recapturing Scott’s lips into a kiss, nipping at his lips. His fangs weren’t as sharp as most vampires were, given his circumstances, but it was definitely noticeable.

Scott shifted, straddling Abolish’s lap, one hand coming up to cradle the back of his head as he deepened the kiss, full of sharp teeth and tongue.

One of Abolish’s hands went up to cup the side of his face, but he caught it, their fingers interlacing before Scott pinned his wrist to the couch, pushing him back onto the couch. Their lips separated, and Abolish took the opportunity to breathe.

Unfortunately, that was one of the things he still needed to do.

Scott looked down at him, tilting his head slightly. “You’re cute when your hair’s all messed up.”

The moonlight streaming in from the window highlighted Scott’s features, his scarlet eyes almost glowing in the dim light.

Scott nuzzled his face into the side of his neck, and Abolish toyed with his hair, the short strands soft to the touch.

Leftover adrenaline still surged through Abolish from the contact, energy thrumming through his fingertips as he traced patterns onto Scott’s scalp.

Scott’s mouth latched back onto his neck, fangs grazing against his pulse. Abolish slipped his hand from his loosening grip, moving to his jaw and pushing him back slightly.

He hesitated. “...Below the collar.”

Scott huffed out a sigh. “So many rules.”

“I still need to look presentable.”

“Yeah, yeah,” he gave Abolish a small peck on the lips. “One day, Veylocke.”

Scott unbuttoned the next two buttons on Abolish’s shirt, lips dipping down to his collarbone.

Abolish’s fingers tightened in his hair as he bit down on the soft spot of his neck, fangs gently digging into skin, but not quite piercing through. One of his hands continued to unbutton Abolish’s shirt, the other resting on his shoulder under the fabric.

Abolish bit the inside of his cheek as Scott began to suck on the spot, definitely trying to leave a mark.

Scott pulled back after a few moments, admiring his work.

“Have you had your fun yet?” he arched an eyebrow at Scott, disliking how hoarse his voice was.

“For now,” he mused, pressing a kiss to his jaw before wrapping an arm around his waist. “Have you?

“...Yeah.”
