Somewhere between life or death

Summary:

'What do you mean he's still alive?' Percy argued as he and Annabeth walked to Rachel's Oracle cave.
'I dont know,' she answered wearily.
But she knew. She had this-feeling-that Jason was alive. Somewhere. There was no way that her dream was fake, demigods got the worst but most informative dreams. The dream told her that he was alive. He had to be.
She would have to go to the place 'where the chosen dead were alive and reborn'. And she had to rescue Damasen somehow along the way.

Magnus only wanted a quiet afterlife. After the whole 'war with Loki' thing, he just wanted to settle down with Alex, maybe fight a few monsters, run a shelter for homeless children and maybe catch up on gossip or tea.
But when his cousin calls him about yet ANOTHER prophesy, he is SO done with this.

Chapter 1: Dreams of Hell

Chapter Text

Annabeth

Annabeth knew she was dreaming, but it was more frightening than ever before.

She was back in Tartarus.

Annabeth exhaled; she'd been holding her breath the whole time. She looked to her right. Percy should be there. to her horror, there no-one. Behind her were the doors of death. Annabeth tried to comfort herself. She'd had these dreams before. I just need to get through the doors, she thought. Annabeth glanced around. Tartarus should be here any moment now. From the distance she saw a dark figure. He was slightly shorter than Tartarus, and didn't have a vortex for a face.

"Percy?" Annabeth cried silently.

To her dismay, it was not Percy. It was Jason.

"Jason!" Annabeth yelled.

Jason Glared at her ,approaching.

"Annabeth...Piper..." Jason murmured.

Then his expression hardened. "I await you where the chosen dead are alive and reborn..." Jason Said.

But he was not Jason anymore. He was Damesaen. "Help!" Damesaen cried. Annabeth took a step backwards, and she was falling deep, deep, down, down to the bottomless pit of Chaos...

Annabeth awoke, shivering from head to toe in cold sweat. She had to tell Percy and Chiron about this. There was still a possibility that Jason was still alive, wherever he was.

"C'mon Percy," she muttered as she dragged Percy out of cabin 3 and into the big house. Chiron was waiting for them, like he knew she was having a bad dream. She explained everything to him.

"Oh no..." Percy trailed. "oh gods..."

Chiron nodded to them. "off you go then, to the Oracle's cave."

They left for the oracles cave.

What do you mean he's still alive?' Percy argued as he and Annabeth walked to Rachel's Oracle cave.

Before they could even knock, Rachel flung over the curtain.

" Oh hey Percy, Hey Annabeth" She yawned.

"We need a prophecy," Percy said firmly.

Rachel blinked. "I-"

Suddenly, Her eyes went green. Smoke spewed out of her mouth and she stood up straight.

"Seek the son of the storm and skies,

The hero that should be dead but yet is still alive

The daughter of dead shall take the risk

between immortality and glory, there is something amiss

six must go east to free the hostage of night

peace of Frey should end the fight

Greek and Norse combined prevail

shadows and wolves shows the trail"
