Summary
Lo'Ak had loved the forest, but he could see that his place was on the reef with the Metkayina. There he was whole, he had his spirit brother Payakan, and perhaps he had realized he had feelings for the son of the Olo'Eyktan.
They begin a romance, but with the romance still new, Lo'Ak has to return to the forest to see Neteyam become Olo'Eyktan.
Their love must withstand the test of distance and time, and if they manage to overcome it, they will be stronger than ever. But Lo'Ak knows they will succeed; his father often says, "The Sullys stay together," but he also says, "The Sullys love forever." And Lo'Ak knows that with Aonung he has found his forever.
Although at first, the young Alpha was unbearable.
