Title says it all, can you?? Its really important I think my friend (19? 20? 21?? M) might be having a medical emergency (he also could be a minor but tbh I highly doubt it). I only know his username and his first name but I can't get anything else. There's also a video called searching for a world that doesn't exist that might be about him and it went viral so if any of his like idk fans see this can u help me please thank you, The username is d3rlord3, if anyone can do it for me, im also ok with doing the steps myself its just really important to me that hes safe
Other information I know is that his name is Derek, hes extremely intelligent, and maybe is living alone?? I dont know just please someone help me find him.

UPDATE: SOMEONE GAVE ME THE INFO!!
TITLE EXPLAINS IT ALL! AGAIN!! So my previous post basically was about how I was looking for a guy online cause I was concerned about his safety, but after a bit someone just gave me all his personal information!! Hooray!! Im typing this as I get ready too drive out too him, I have like a basic medkit packed and some extra clothes and food. I have a feeling he might notve really taken care of himself in a while- im gonna be deleting the previous post since ya know. It has my information as well as the other guys, but anyway thank you for the people who commented helpful information, Im gonna save my friend and make sure he ends up ok!! <3 thank you!

Avery looked down on his GPS, in slight awe at what it said.
It's only a 2 hour drive. 2 hours— holy shit, he's been that close to Derek this whole time? This whole time he basically could’ve waltzed up to his apartment rather than play on a cursed Minecraft world just to interact with him? Avery wanted to hit himself in the head for not trying to get Derek's information sooner.
Well- the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. The locker he got it from was extremely close by, he just.. He almost expected needing a plane ticket just to get to him. Not that he wasn't willing too of course— he would spend his entire life savings just to make sure he's ok. Derek saved his life, even if Avery wanted to punch the living fuck out of him for pushing him off the edge
“Self sacrificing bastard,” he muttered to himself.
Telling his professors was the most nerve-wracking part of this whole plan, especially when his grades weren't… satisfactory, to put it lightly. The lie about just a family emergency got most of them off his back though, he just knew he would have to do a bunch of extra credit to make up for it though, he could already imagine the headaches he's about to get in the coming month.
A post it note on the fridge was enough for his roommates too, he was never close to them outside of the occasional good morning. Don't get him wrong, he tried to become closer— he used to say good morning every week, and he even got a whiteboard to put down tiny doodles and notes about how his day was going! They just never really reciprocated that action, so they didn't seem very interested.
Avery wasn't moping about it though, considering he just found someone who did care about him.
“HEY! ILL BE BACK IN A WEEK OR TWO, DONT EAT MY FROZEN YOGURT WHILE IM GONE PLEASE, THANK YOU”

He had a feeling all his frozen yogurt was gonna be gone on the second day, even when he labels his food it always “conveniently” goes missing. He didn't even mind sharing but stealing food behind his back is just petty.
Oh well— he was still excited about the trip though! Maybe he and Derek will have a huge emotional reunion with a hug and Derek will say sorry for pushing him off the cliff, and then maybe check into a hospital! That seems like the correct course of action, this felt right.
Not that any of his family understood that sentiment

Avery: Im fine dw! The only issue I have is I met someone who might have had a life threatening event happen over the phone with me on New years eve, but I went on reddit and people doxed him for me, so I took a week off college to try and save my friend from being braindead hopefully!

Avery remembered shutting his notifications off after that. He can tell his sister everything AFTER this whole thing is over.
He started to pack the last of his supplies into the trunk of his car, it was a lot to be fair. He opened his notes app to make sure he got everything, he was never a “list” person, but it seemed a lot more fitting right now.
- Bags of groceries
Check! He wonders what type of food Derek likes, maybe Savory? There’s a bunch of microwave ramen in the bags, so it should be fitting. Sweet-tooth is also accommodated with a tin of butter cookies he never bothered eating! (He's 99 percent sure they aren’t expired.)
- Clothes
He's not even sure how tall Derek is. Is he taller?? Shorter?? Is he more muscular??? Or is he more scrawny??? Baggy hoodies never did Avery wrong— so hopefully those should be good if Derek had nothing else in storage, and some sweatpants too.
- and a bunch of last minute medical supplies he got from the CVS next door were stuffing the brim of it
Thank the lord he had a sister who went to med school, some of her rants about what she learned came in handy, particularly what pain meds are best for a person with a potential neurological disease.
The amount of items overflowed the trunk, making Avery have to shut it with a harder force than usual. The loud slam made him jump, his Toyota was already one step away from death, he hoped that the drive wouldn't be what made it finally call it quits. Was he being a bit too much? Maybe, but nothing could convince him that he needed anything less. There was a good chance Derek's apartment was nothing but a biohazard, in which case he would really need all the supplies he could get.
All of these were necessities though… Should Avery get him something extra? Like a gift? Maybe a “Hi thank you for sacrificing your life for the world” cake?? Maybe a bouquet of flowers?? What do you get for a person who will never be repaid fairly for what he did? Shit, maybe none of this is good— what if the redditor just gave him a random address and made up all the information? Is he on a wild goose chase? That wouldn't be the first stupid thing he's done this week, far from it, fuck maybe he’s the wrong guy—
Avery slaps his face lightly.
He can’t be thinking like this, not when Derek's life's on the line. If there’s even a small chance that all the information’s right, then he has to take it.
He takes a quick look around his surroundings, the wind blowing directly into his ears. It was quiet, no one was walking across campus, it was just him and his car ready to go. Avery quickly looked down on himself, was he maybe supposed to dress fancier? He thought maybe just a graphic tee and hoodie with jeans would suffice, but maybe he should show up with a suit and tie?? His hair was kind of a mess too with old green dip-dye, and he was due for a retwist-
Wait, this isn't a date, this isn't some fancy event- he's about to see someone who probably has shit his pants and is wearing PJs.
Avery quickly acknowledges that he's overthinking everything before jumping in the front seat of the car
“Ok— ok time to lock in.”
He can't help but giggle to himself as he says that, but when he puts his feet on the gas pedal and puts the key in, he feels like reality is setting in.
He's meeting a man, who he's known for like what? 4 hours? Ditching college— his apartment— practically his safety, just for him… to anyone else it seemed like a bad idea in the making, that this was the wrong move, to put his entire life on pause when he just got it rewarded back.
Avery quickly shrugged off that thought process, waving it off as meaningless. No matter how much the universe gave him signs to get away, he wouldn't listen to them, he defied fate before, he'll do it again.
“I’m coming d3rlord— shit Derek, I’m sure he'd appreciate maybe the more human name he has when I see him,” Avery says to himself.
Everything’s gonna be perfect— it’s smooth sailing from here on out! No more eldritch deity (hopefully. Maybe.) Just him, the car, and his future (soon to be!) best friend in tow. He turns on the GPS for the first set of instructions.
“Take a left off Mangrove street towards the intersection.”
Fuck. This was gonna be a long ride.
