Chapter Text
The night was at its brightest, the rays of moonlight dispersed over the earth, blanketing it in serenity and a calm silence. The air was crisp with rain, the dewdrops lay still on the meadows, drafts of cool air drifting throught the fields..
Kaiborg was in a very very soothing dream where they were in a weird watermark and on top of a weird cylinder and if she fell she died. They managed to get across and just after that woke up with a gasp in their bed.
"Ughhhh..." they groaned, disoriented momentarily before realising she was on the floor. After getting up, she was just about to go back to bed before— ring ring! ring ring!
"UGH-" Kaiborg very annoyed someone would be calling at this unholy hour, and the fact their ringtone is horrid, and stomped over and picked up. "..hello-"
"KAIBORG!!! IFOUNDSOMETHINGREALLYREALLYCOOLINTHEWOODSANDITSLIKEAMAZINGBUTIMWAYTOOSCAREDTOGOINMYSELFANDYOUDPROBABKYBEAWAKEANDAND—"
"Woah woah WOAH CALM DOWN!!! what on EARTH are you on about???" Kaiborg said, attemting to slow down whatever gibberish Lucky was rambling about. Heavy breathing from the other side.
"Hah...hah...ok, so basically.. " Lucky started.
"Oh dear."
"I was out for a walk in the woods after we went to Banti's place, because I wanted to get some fresh air, but then I see this weird blueish white glow from the woods. I go towards the glow, bad idea i know, and there's like this..uhh...uhm...like crack—"
"A crack." Kaiborg stated. "Lucky, how gullible do you think I am??"
"It was realluuuhhhh!!" Lucky retorted. "Come outside and lemme show you!"
*A pause.* "...fine."
"YAYYYYY!!!" Lucky cheered, practically shouting into the phone.
"It's too early for this.." The call ends as Kaiborg puts the phone down and looks for something to wear that won't let them get frostbite in this weather...
After a while, Kaiborg came to the conclusion that they would be fine.
Step..step..step, the stairs creaked as Kaiborg tried her absolute best to be silent since it was still midnight.
The door clicked open, and in seeped cold air that bit at the skin and froze the metal. Lucky, being the moron she is, was waiting excitedly right infront of Kaiborg the second they opened the door.
"OK, ok, so it's like near uhm uh over there!" Lucky pointed towards the nearby woods, where it seemed ever so slightly brighter that it should be.
To be continued tomorrow maybe
