Summary
When he finally looks at Joost, he's looking back up at him with all his emotions spared still. He's flushed, hunched over slightly and angling in on himself, fingers nervously drumming against his leg in a non-committed rhythm.
And he looks good in this light, this setting, this mood. While Jere hadn't thought about it before, at least not beyond the casual late night wondering, he's not sure if he's able to not ever think of it again.
This was way too much to process for where they were and the possibly limited time they had on their hands here, and yet - Jere had always been an opportunist, and impulsive to a fault.
