Jack’s Got Your Flesh on His Fist (Lay Off)

Summary:

“It started as everything starts-with Gavin.”

Chapter Text

It started as everything starts-with Gavin. Ryan should have put his foot down when Gavin came to them after lunch, arms full of a brown paper package, and asked if they could go out that night.

He didn’t.

In fact, he agreed and then agreed with Ray when the young lad mention Mudsport Bar and Grille. To his credit, nothing ever happens at Mudsport. It was a nice eatery on the corner of Fifth and Lane with good drinks and even better people. The Rooster Teeth group were known regulars and Joel had taken stocks in the company and helped back it up when the bar first started. The whole company was pretty much family to the owner of Mudsport and got away with almost everything.

It was a safe place for their relationship to really show, so Ryan couldn’t fault himself for not stopping the day there.

He couldn’t have been asked to think about stopping Gavin in those jeans the moment the lad walked out of the bathroom that evening. They were everything that set off his ravenous instincts; tight around the buttocks, showing the small but decisive curve of his ass and they sat dangerously low on his pale hips allowing some of his skin to show thanks to the small shirt he was wearing. Nobody could fault him for thinking more with his dick than his head if they saw the way Gavin strutted in those jean.

Said detail rolled over into the night when Michael was up against Gavin dancing to the loud, pulsating music. Ryan couldn’t take his eyes off Michaels firm hands all over Gavin’s body and his other lovers didn’t tease him about his boner. Jack was busy texting Joel about an upcoming short and Ray had his hand shoved down Geoff’s pants, who in turn had his tongue shoved down Ray’s throat.

They were in a corner booth being about as respectful to others as they normally were about their relationship. You’d have be sitting at the end of bar to really see the five of them as a whole and nobody liked to be that douche at the end of the bar so they were rarely called out. Ryan had taken the seat at the end of the booth so that he could keep an eye on the two lads and monitor there in-take of alcoholic beverages.

Before he know it Jack was sided up against him, his phone gone and one hand on Ryan’s upper thigh-oh so close- and the other on a beer. From where Jack was sitting he could see the boys as well. “Sorry about that,” Jack muttered up against Ryan’s ear giving it a soft bite and a little tug. Ryan’s throat made a very pleased sound while his eyes sent a glare Jack’s way.

"Everything okay," Ryan asked sipping at his beer.

"Yeah," Jack replied,"just Joel being Joel is all."

"He worried the shot tomorrow won’t go as planned," Ryan asked noting Michael heading for the bar. He’d have to stop Gavin after this beer if Michael was getting one for the Brit too.

Jack hummed gently against Ryan and let his hand move up towards Ryan’s boner. Ryan turned to scold him because it was one thing for Ray and Geoff to be giving hand jobs in a unseen corner and a whole other thing for them to do it clear public. He was stopped when Jack pulled back, his hands flying away from Ryan. Ryan blinked in confusion and growled. “You tease,” Ryan accused but Jack didn’t hear any of it.

Ryan watched the bearded man near about go over the table and in the direction of Gavin. The table shifted in this movement and Ray pulled away from Geoff to give a confused look to Ryan. Ryan shrugged and looked further around the corner. Michael was still at the bar and he could see Jack’s blue shirt bee-lining for Gavin.

Ryan at first thought that Gavin had been teasing Jack form across the room because Gavin did to them all the time but he saw the crowd part like the red sea when Jack got to where he was going. This time Ryan shot up from his seat and onto the dance floor when he saw Jack’s fists closed around some random guy’s collar, throwing him away from Gavin.

Ryan got close enough to see Gavin rubbing at his upper arm and trying to sooth his shirt back down at the same time. Michael appeared again, having heard the commotion and he was checking Gavin over, nodding towards Ryan in a manor Ryan easily read as: “Jack’s gonna do something stupid, stop him”.

Ryan had no qualms about that and he made his way through the path the parted crowd made. It lead towards the back door and Ryan nearly kicked the door down.

Jack had the guy up against the wall, his hand pushing the guys face against the wall of the deli next to Mudsport.

"Fuck you man," the guys slurred.

"My boyfriend told you to let him go," Jack hissed, "and you just kept helping yourself."

The guy spit to the side like he was hoping he could have hit Jack. “You let your whore dance with any guy on the dance floor,” the guy said and Ryan was happy Jack slammed the guy for that comment.

"That other guy is also my boyfriend jackass," Jack said.

"Fuck man," the guy said again, kicking his feet at Jack like that was going to make the pissed off man let him go. "You got two whores, you could fucking share," the guy said stupidly.

This jackass must have been smashed, because if he wasn't he was going to be after Ryan got through with him. There was nothing Ryan liked more than smashing someones face in for insulting his boys. Jack beat him to it, which wasn't much a surprise. Jack spun the jackass around and pushed his fist into the dudes face with force.

Jack let the guy drop and he stepped back, his fist still clenched and his eyes daring the jackass to get back up and say something else. The jackass didn’t, instead opting to stay on the ground and hold his broken nose as he tried to talk himself out of the pain. Ryan took Jack’s shoulder and motioned about going back inside. Jack glared at the guy one last time, no doubt thinking about landing another hit but Ryan tugged and Jack relented.

Michael and Geoff met them back inside. “I've paid the tab,” Geoff said, “guy tried to kiss Gavin and our Brit isn't in the mood anymore.”

"I’m gonna murder that bitch," Jack said, spinning on his heels and reaching for the door again. Ryan grabbed his arm and shook his head.

"Lets just get home and make sure Gavin’s alright," Ryan said, "you know how he gets about things like this."

Jack didn't argue. He couldn't argue. The last time Gavin had been hit on in a club neither of the boys had been watching and by the time they noticed him gone, the guy had Gavin in a stall on his knees. Geoff had punched the ever living shit of that guy and left him in that stall in the dingy bar-that they never went back too.It hadn’t been a pretty picture that night in the house and Jack didn't want a repeat.

"Alright," he said and shook his head when Ryan made motion for him to follow Michael. "I’m not going to turn around," Jack said and Ryan raised an eyebrow.

"I know you better than that Jack," Ryan said and ushered Jack out of the bar. It took all of Ryan’s will power not to turn around himself to lay into that jackass. He saw Mudsport’s owner on the phone and noticed the okay sign the owner was giving. Ryan nodded his head in thanks and hooked his hand into Jack’s when the bearded man slowed his pace. "Nice try there Casanova, but no deal," Ryan told him.

"Just one more punch," Jack said.

"Save that energy," Ryan said with a small smile, "for when we get those jeans off of Gavin."

"Good plan," Jack hummed and squeezed his hand,"very good plan."
