Through the last year, the OTW Finance team has continued to ensure that the organization's bills are paid, tax returns filed, and standard accounting procedures met. The 2025 audit of financial statements has been issued, with the 2025 tax return to be finalized by the end of October!

We are pleased to publish the OTW's 2025 Annual Report, available on the OTW website: 2025 OTW Annual Report. The report provides a letter from our Board of Directors, a summary of our activities during the past year, and our financial statements for 2025. Some highlights from 2025 include Tag Wrangling canonizing almost 400 new "No Fandom" tags, Transformative Works and Cultures being added to the U.S. Library of Congress, and the creation of the Organizational Culture Roadmap Workgroup—the first formal workgroup since the Content Policy workgroup was converted to a Legal subcommittee in 2017.
