   I really should start notating my bookmarks (and, er... creating bookmarks...)--it would make picking out fic to recommend so much easier! These are my absolute favorites, in no particular order:

   Switch by Ceres_Libera

   • Star Trek: AOS
   • James T. Kirk/Leonard McCoy
   • This is basically a retelling (and massive expansion) of the Star Trek reboot. It explores the characters' motivation in great detail, while weaving in original characters, new events, and a wonderful slow-burn romance. I just... ugh... I just love it so much. I periodically toy with the idea of begging to podfic it--all 230,867 words--but the commitment is a little intimidating!

   Winter is Coming (aka Fifty First Avengers Dates) by 27dragons & tisfan

   • Marvel Cinematic Universe
   • James "Bucky" Barnes/Tony Stark
   • I went through a hardcore Winteriron phase. While it's mostly passed (thanks to my dislike of the direction the MCU took), some of the fic stuck with me. This is one of them--I'm always down for Bucky learning to be human again. It's actually part of a sizeable series, entirely worth checking out.

   Unexpected Effects by Kethrielle

   • Mass Effect: Andromeda
   • Evfra de Tershaav/Female Ryder
   • I'm a sucker for grumpy-sunshine romances, and this is a lovely one. Add in an alien who's actually alien (as opposed to a particularly-buff human with horns) and humor, and I'm there for it all.

   First Contact by ReginaPrimata

   • Mass Effect Trilogy
   • Garrus Vakarian/Female Shepard
   • This is actually a fan comic, and good gods but it's steamy. It's also awkward and funny and wonderful. If we'd gotten even a tenth of this in the game, all the Garrus shippers would've spontaneously combusted.

   Circling Dragons by NoSprings

   • 龍が如く | Ryuu ga Gotoku | Yakuza
   • Goda Ryuji/Dojima Daigo
   • I spent a year straight playing nothing but the Yakuza games. Seriously. A freakin' year. Out of it came a love for Daigo that consumed my fandom being, a love that continues to this day. Although I usually ship Daigo with Mine, this fic sucked me in and got me invested way too deeply in the relationship between Daigo and Ryuji. It more or less follows canon and expands upon it, with some great character development.

   • Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order
   • Cal Kestis/Merrin
   • This is a very wholesome beginning to a series which is... very not. The balance between fluff and angst and romance is lovely.

   By All Means by diremore

   • Final Fantasy XVI
   • Dion Lesage/Joshua Rosfield
   • Final Fantasy XVI is in and of itself a giant ball of angst, so almost any fic in its world is going to be the same, but this is just AU enough to avoid the worst of it--yay! It's written in a slightly stilted, fairly formal style that suits the characters well, and it's a wonderful mix of the aforementioned angst and action and heat.

   Mascotverse (series) by SleepsWithCoyotes

   • Final Fantasy VII
   • Sephiroth, Zack, Cloud & Aerith (largely gen)
   • Mascotverse is huge--much larger than what is on AO3--and addictive and beautifully written and just... I really wish the rest would be transferred to AO3, because right now, the vast majority of it is friendlocked on Dreamwidth. (Seriously, there's a total of 34 fic in the series, but only 9 on AO3. If you have a Dreamwidth journal, I definitely recommend requesting access--it's more than worth the effort!)

   • Miscommunication and mistaken(-ish) identities and enemies-to-lovers and dirty letters? Sign me up.

   Physical Training by BurnItAllDownDahling

   • Mass Effect Trilogy
   • Kaidan Alenko/James Vega
   • I lack words. I really do. This fic got under my skin for it) and lived there until I did a podfic for it. If you're a fan of Mass Effect, even if you've never considered this pairing before, just read it. I guarantee you'll be glad you did.

   And... because I'm an egoist... a few recommendations for favorites from my own fic:

   If you LOVE Final Fantasy VII or Sephiroth in particular, I HIGHLY recommend you to check out these AWESOME fics made by these wonderful friends of mine! 😉 Each of these stories are written SO ELEGANTLY, especially the first one, which is a huge and I mean HUGE Sephiroth/Reader fanfic, because Soulmate Encounter is so realistically and gorgeously written, and because Soulmate Encounter made me think about the characters in a brand new different way.

   Final Fantasy VII Remake The Movie: Angel of the Ancients. It's an FFVII Remake AU fanfic dedicated to Shadow Sephiroth x my OC {It's still a HUGE project in progress and Part 3 is going to be the BIGGEST one yet for my own little three-part trilogy. Like FFVII Rebirth, which comes in three parts, my Book also comes in three parts, with Book 3 being the longest}. Shadow Sephiroth is inspired by Unknown Sephiroth seen from the Midgar Expressway and the Edge of Creation from Chapter 18 of Remake: Destiny's Crossroads, with a dash of Illusion Sephiroth's personality from Chapter 2: Fateful Encounters, but both of their personalites are mixed for my OC, with my Shadow Sephiroth having both Illusion Sephiroth's cockiness and Unknown Sephiroth's calm, chill attitude.

   --Why I'm Reccing This: This story is one of my MOST FAVORITE FICS OF ALL TIME across ALL FANDOMS!!
   It's so sweet but also hella sultry and just does such an amazing job of getting into Tom's head as he figures out his relationship with Rob and why he has *~feelings~* for him!!
   And also!!: While I LOVE the whole piece in it's entierty, there's a few lines that really stand out to me...I will now share these lines because I think about them at least every day, for real.

   --Why I'm Reccing This: So back in 2021, when Buccaneers were going up against the Cheifs in the Super Bowl, I was watching media coverage leading up to the event, as one does. Though of course I had known who Tom and Rob were for years prior to that, it was during this media frenzy that I became super aware of just how close these two were and how much they actually, really meant to each other.
   As much as I tried to push them out of my mind, they would not leave, and so after the Buccaneers won their Super Bowl, I finally gave in and decided to see if anyone had ever written anything about these two.
   That's when I came across this fic!!
   Published in 2014, this story is told in Tom's POV and really gets into his thoughts and feelings about football, life, and how much he is craving human connection.
   And though it centers around two football players and football is for sure at the heart of the story, it's also not totally the main focus. The main event is Tom and Rob going to Cape Cod together and just living life.
   Throughout, the author is so descriptive and put so much emotion into this, which is what makes this story SO GOOD!!

   3). "That's All I've Ever Been" by bookhousegirl

   For a credo, that’s about as simple as it gets."
   --Why I'm Reccing This: Though this is not a *true* true sequel to "One Week, A Thousand Miles", it's a character study that takes a deeper look at Rob's side of things.
   I absoutley LOVE that the author went deep with this and appreciated the time they [the author!!] too to really explore Rob, his emotions and what he thinks about what people think about him.
   While the main focus is all on Rob, of course Tom also make apperances throughout and the author did a fabulous job of writing Rob's thoughts regarding all things Tom. It's more than a simple "wow, I like him, he's my quarterback!"; the author gets really into some of the hidden meanings and messages surrouding Rob and Tom.
   Also!!: This story has apperances from some of Rob's brothers!! He has four of them in total, and the author does a sublime job of distinusing their relationships with him, in terms of why he is closer to one brother than the other etc.
   ....Basically, the family dynaimcs are super on-point here and play a critical role in the character study as a whole!!

   --Summary: "In which Troy and Gabriella are 'the perfect couple', Kelsi is tired of third-wheeling, and it all comes together in the end."
   --Why I'm Reccing This: Each and every May, I find myself back in my High School Musical era and *have* to rewatch the second installment in the trilogy in order to *properly* kick summer off!!
   Last year, I found myself thinking more indepth about Troy and Kelsi's relationship after seeing a post on Tumblr that said that Troy and Kelsi would have been such a good couple together because they had such a unique relationship through music.
   That thought sat with me for awhile and the more I thought about it, the more I was like, "You know what?? *Yeeeaahh*. YEAH."
   When looking up fics for Troy and Kelsi, I came across this one. Though was primarily focused on Troy and Kelsi, I decided to give it a try and ended up really liking it. It just *makes sense* all around for these three to all be together in a poly relationship!!

   --Summary: "Kelsi has always preferred directing quietly from the wings than being on center stage. But as her junior year draws on, she realizes she's about to be thrust into the spotlight when she gets a crush on not one, but both of the most popular kids in her grade! What makes matters worse is that they're dating each other!
   Navigating the halls of East High can be tough. But when pining for Troy and Gabriella? Impossible! It's a good thing they seem to like her, and that she has friends who have her back"
   --Why I'm Reccing This: They all love each other so, *SO* much and really want to be together, even though they are all still in high school and have to think about what that all means and how people might not understand.
   That being said, the author does a fabulous job of making the dynamics of the situation feel realistic to how things would be in a non-fictional world while also keeping everything perfectly in character.
   Also!! Sharpay has a fantastic lil' role in this at the end!! I really appreciate what the author did with her and love the idea that she could be more than the "mean girl" whose only goal was to get Troy and also the lead in all the school theater productions.

   --Rating: General Audiences
   --Summary: "Ten moments chronicling Troy and Kelsi’s friendship."
   --Why I'm Reccing This: Told in alternate POV's, this story takes the canon events of the film trilogy and fills in the missing pieces of Troy and Kelsi's friendship.
   It covers all aspects of their friendship; from the moment they first met to after the have graduated and are young adults with lives of their own.
   I'm so in love and obsessed with this story because of how sweet & simple it is, but that absoutley does not take aways from the complexities that Kelsi and Troy go through together!!
   This story also makes sure to incorporate what brought them together in the first place: music!! There's so many great scenes of them hangning out with the centerpiece of these hangouts being all about music and their love for it.
   I also really like this story because Kelsi and Troy feel like *real people* with *real problems*!!
   In other words, the author did a fantastic job of further developing these characters so that we (the audience) could get a broader sense of who they are and how much they truly, *truly* mean to each other!!

   7). "Clandestine Hickeys" by Lilmizzhugable13

   --Rating: Teen and Up Audiences
   --Summary: ""What does he see in her anyways?"
   Or the one where Tina is starting to realize she deserves SOOOO much better, but she's slowly realizing it cause teenage hormones."
   --Why I'm Reccing This: I LOVE Bob's Burgers (BB's) and really, super appreciate everything that the show is and how they navigate all of these different relationships between everyone.
   Though the primary focus of BB's is on the Belcher family and their restaurant, there's also PLENTY of storylines about the kids--Tina, the oldest; Gene, the middle and Louise; the youngest--and their school lives.
   Many people in the BB's fandom ship Tina with her classmate Zeke, even though canon wants us to see her with this other guy named Jimmy Jr.
   Anyway...!!
   This story takes a deep dive into Tina's mind about what it means to be with Jimmy Jr. but how it's not really at all like how she had always imagined it would be like.
   I like how the author stayed true to who Tina is a character while *also* making sure to leave PLENTY of room for her to explore her feelings for Zeke and what all of *that* means.
   Also, this story is simple while also being so complex and is one of the first I ever read for the Tina/Zeke ship!! And because of the author's talent, this is the story that *finally* made me fully believe in the magic of Tina/Zeke!!

      --Why I'm Reccing This: This story is so cute while also being plenty hot and all around very *yeeesssss!!!!*
      It takes the events from the movie and places them more in the perspective of what it means to fall in love with someone who is so very different from you; someone that you would have never even *thought* about had life not twisted and turned the way it did.
      There's also a Found Family dynamic that adds to the sweetness of this story on top of how sweet & adorable Ben & Ty's relationship already is!!

      --Why I'm Reccing This: I first watched 8 Mile becuase it's one of my brother's favorite films, and after seeing it, I understood why he likes it so much!!
      However, because I am who I am, I for sure saw the possiblilty for Jimmy and Future to have a bit of a romantic relationship, especially for the history that they shared together.
      This story takes a look at what things were like between them after the movie's final--and most iconic!!-- rap battle!!
      It has a chill vibe that completly matches the vibe of the movie and is all around so *SO* good because of how well these two characters know each other!!

      10). "Sunshine in a Bottle" by mswyrr

      --Pairing: Peggy Olson & Don Draper, Peggy Olson/Stan Rizzo
      --Rating: Teen and Up Audiences
      --Summary: "Post-finale, Don comes to Peggy to talk about Coke."
      --Why I'm Reccing This: This is one of my most favorite Mad Men fics of all time!! It's so perfect and exactly what I would have loved to see on-screen between Don and Peggy after his return to New York.
      Told from Don's POV, the author kept them both perfectly in character. Because of that, I could very easily imagine everything in this story happening for real.
      Even for a smiple as this story is, there's also the larger complexities of what Don and Peggy mean to each other and how much they truly value each other's thoughts & opinions.
      I also love how the author let Peggy express herself about how Don's final phone call to her made her feel!! That was so important to me and I'm very glad that the author took that into consideration.
      Overall, I see this piece of writing as an offical part of canon becuase of how good it is and how it seamlessly fits into the narratives of their life and of Mad Men storylines in general.

      So there you have it!!
      Ten fics that are special and important to me!! :D <3

   Only 10?! Oh dear, this will be a challenge seeing as I have 58 pages of bookmarked stories/fanart I adore! Okay well here goes...

   I'm a major Drarry shipper so most of recommendations will be Drarry, but I'm also a big shipper for Hiccup Haddock III/Jack Frost but I'm having trouble deciding and some I think have been deleted :*(. Not to worry I did find one I enjoyed a lot though obviously there are many more! Many of these are family fics but some are just good natured fun and some are a little offbeat and some are just plain sexy AF!

   Harry's life revolves entirely around work these days, and he's deeply engrossed in it, as usual, when an urgent fire-call from Ron abruptly turns his world upside down. Apparently, a four-year-old girl with emerald eyes and long black hair has shown up at Ron's shop, claiming to be Harry's daughter and seeking his help to save her papa.

   It’s Christmastime, and someone is trying to kill Harry (again). He takes shelter at Malfoy Manor, but the house’s reclusive owner seems determined to keep his distance.

   There is no way the Chosen One could ever love a lonely single father with a disability, right?

But when a mysterious attack in the hospital leaves Draco trapped in a coma, Harry must do all he can to save him. All the while, an inexplicable, deadly, children's illness is spreading through wizarding London. Oh, and there's some Time Magic thrown into the mix.

   The Season's Court needed a new Winter King. No one else fit the bill except the strong Winter Spirit, Jack Frost. Since he turned down all the other royals, it is up the the Fall King, Hiccup, to convince Jack that this is a good idea. However, upon meeting Jack, Hiccup realizes that said spirit is his spirit-mate (soulmate) and well, Hiccup has to claim him before they leave Santoff Clausen. Simple as that.

   After snarkily insulting one of Harry’s co-workers at a gathering, Draco needs a lesson in humility. Harry has just the thing for that.

   I'm the kind of person who doesn't have a blorbo and am generally into fanworks rather than fandoms. All the fics I rec here firmly stand on their own and in most cases I know a fandom through fanworks alone. I ain't want trouble right? Right! Let's get to it!

   1. This is one of the best fics I've ever read. It's short and to the point and I find the number of hits on it criminally low. So ok the fandom is what it is. And the ship is wild ;DDD. But it's so good!! So good you guys!! Read it!!

   And he and his uncle Stretch were much close than everyone thought.
   Meanwhile the rest of the group tries to get Casper back.
   Mystery/murder mystery as Casper's death is different from the movie and we are slowly unravelling what happened. Neglectful and possible abusive bio dad JT.
   Parental Stretch
   Love the twist and turns and Stretch being redeemed.
   Thge author does a good job of slowly building tensions between Casper, Stretch and JT. JT is a deadbeat but jealous and resentful that Casper loves Stretch. However, due to the time period CPS is nonexistent so Stretch has to tolerate JT when he turns up, to keep Casper. Hints that this situation exploded dramatically and Casper was caught in the middle and later on he died mysteriously. Also a mystery which one of Casper's fathers- bio or adopted ended up in the asylum.

   1. All the Old Knives by Selden
   Possibly my favorite fic. And I mean EVER. Deep and fierce and lyrical, with grace and strength and rhythm in every single sentence. I’ve reread it multiple times, and every time it’s like listening to an old poem sung around a fire in the woods at night and like being gently yet firmly called to witness and understand the defiance of women in old stories set in heavily patriarchal societies and imagine better endings for them. There are lines from it, even seemingly innocuous ones, that have been burned into my brain for literal years of my life. It turned a ship I was only vaguely interested in in an “oh, the similarities between them could make for some fun AU opportunities” into one of my mythological OTPs.

   2. You’ll Be Bright by DiarFar
   A Doctor Who fanvid that, imho, is a declaration of and a love letter to most, if not all, of what makes Doctor Who such a wonderful show and story. A tribute to Rose, Martha, Donna, and Amy, but also, I think, to the very idea of the companion and the Doctor/Companion relationship in every way, shape and form. Perfect song choice and great editing.

   3. Persephone Lied by spuffyduds
   Shippy poetry at its finest and THE classic consensual!Hades/Persephone fic, imo. Snarky, hot, incisive, funny, and emotional. Flows beautifully and sticks in your head. Comes with a pretty great podfic version with some bits of amazing line delivery, too.

   4. The Gold Room (orphaned)
   A subtle and delicate, yet very poignant, exploration of gender, sexuality, social norms, and love (platonic and/or not) in the otherwise generally light-hearted and humorous Prince of Tennis universe. It will break your heart and then tenderly put it back together… and while making you feel while you’re immersed in a soft, golden cloud. The author described it as “A rather cracky take on the everyone-in-PoT-is-so-gay trope.” but it’s so much more than that, really.

   5. If I Told You the Truth by ToonFanatic
   A Hazbin Hotel fansong exploring Vaggie, a sadly underrated character who’s nonetheless full of potential, and the inherent angst of her story. A lovely example of fanworks delving deeply into the spaces canon doesn’t have enough time to explore in full.

   6. Lady at the Bar by Akaiba
   A Robin/Guy fic that’s my go-to choice for luxurious, hot-and-heavy smut with messy emotions and surprisingly soft feelings guaranteed to leave me melted in a very satisfied puddle on the floor. It uses BBC Robin Hood’s canon’s penchant for anachronism and silliness unabashedly to create something that isn’t silly at all but feels, in truth, oddly fitting for the characters involved.

   7. Two Ships Passing by BardicRaven
   Proof that EVERYTHING can be written about well enough to fill a reader’s heart with genuine, complex emotion, no matter how bizarre or meme-ish the subject may initially appear. Including ships between LITERAL ships.

       A stunning fancomic using stark shades of black, white, and grey and well-thought-out and well-placed symbols to dive into Miles Edgeworth's character and his growth through the years, from the traumatic DL-6 incident in his childhood to the difficult road to healing and moving forward in his adulthood.

       9. the kids are not alright by beckmesserlied
       As the author describes it: “an exploration of the children and those who watch them in richard wagner's 'der ring des nibelungen'.” A gorgeous, gut-wrenching, desperately gentle-amidst-the-violence series that shows its love for the canon and its characters in every word even while looking at them from perspectives Wagner himself might not have even been able to fathom. And also makes some really fun, captivating style choices in its different POVs while it’s at it and using them to build on a consistent, melancholic theme.

       10. Happy Birthday, Vhagar by sosooley
       Quite possibly the cutest and most incongruously adorable Modern AU HOTD fanart you’ll ever see.

    I’m not familiar with The Mandalorian despite being a Star Wars nerd… But this fic is an alternate universe fic where the reader is Baby Yoda’s teacher. So no familiarity needed. Anyways, this fic is so perfect! It’s a great gender neutral reader piece with none of the awkward pitfalls that a lot of reader-insert pieces can have.

    I have six of the seven works in this author’s series (AU Roulette One-Shots) bookmarked. Honorable mention to Spitfire Omega, another great work with Boba Fett/Reader.

    Another gender neutral-reader insert piece about the demon siblings and the reader, in a modern setting where the reader is next-door neighbors to them. They quickly find themself getting caught up in the blood, violence, and shaky trust that dominate the siblings’ world. The dialogue and conversation is really natural. The reader has a personality without being too overbearing or specific to a certain type of person. Some other beloved KNY characters make appearances too. Above all, this fic does a great job of exploring Daki & Gyutaro and their full potential in a way that canon doesn’t.

    we’ll lie another day by ispyspookymansion | Saw | Adam Faulkner-Stanheight & Lawrence Gordon

    This one has some triggering themes, including suicidal ideation and self-harm. It follows Adam in the aftermath of Jigsaw’s game, and his chance meeting with Dr. Gordon in the hospital some time later. It’s painful, it’s brutal. I love it so much!!! Adam has to deal with the fact that he’s not at all recovered or “over” what he experienced—which is exceedingly hard to do when he comes across Lawrence, looking entirely healthy and unaffected.

    Let Me Hear the Rest by jmarshv | Star Wars | Luke Skywalker/Han Solo (SkySolo, my BELOVEDDD)

    From the summary: “Luke found himself alone at the Mos Eisley cantina, a drink shoved into his hand, and face to face with the most handsome man he'd ever seen.”

    That’s really all you need to know. GODDDD I love this fic so fucking much it’s not even funny. Lighthearted, fun, flirty. A nice break if you need one.

    What the Water Gave Me by Discontented Winter | Teen Wolf | Peter Hale/Stiles Stilinski

    From the summary: “A run in with a rusalka leaves Detective Stiles Stilinski with a crippling fear of the water.” Ah, yes. Trauma. Love it. And Peter being… surprisingly tolerant and patient? Who knew? Lol. Just reread this the other day.

    I challenged myself to rec only works that included polyships since it's the thing I've been enjoying the most lately and I thought there must be someone out there who surely wants some food.

       "Dragon Flayn" is a fantastic read!

       For recs, have you read anything by leonidskies? Very prolific author, very good fics, and a variety of different FE games. Rosage is another author who writes for multiple FE games whose writing I enjoy. If you like Engage, Rioul is a fantastic author. VeloxVoid also has a lot of great fics and writes for other Nintendo games as well. (They are all one-shot writers, btw. So there are a lot of different fics in their portfolios to pick from!)

    I would like to pre-face this by saying that it's my first time trying to write recommendations. I'm not the best with putting my thoughts into words (which is why I read but don't write... 😋)
    Anyway, here are some of my favorite fics (in no particular order) from all over:

     

    1) Embers by Vathara

    It's a Zuko-centric AU of Avatar: The Last Airbender which really impressed me with the depth of it's worldbuilding. The thought, time, effort and research the author must have put into it constantly amaze me.
    
    The way Vathara fleshed out the four distinct cultures of the A:TLA world and introduced some real-world logic & consequences of actions into this fantasy world is one of the major "selling points" of the fic in my opinion. The author's notes are just as interesting as the whole fic.
    
    One of my all time favorites which I re-read on an average of every 1-2 years.

     

    2) Sansûkh by determamfidd

    A Tolkien fic (mainly Hobbit & Lord of the Rings) in which the dead dwarrows of Thorin's Company watch over their kin and later on the Fellowship and the Ring War from the afterlife... This set-up provides us (and the dwarves) plenty of entertainment.

     

    3) Knives & Spices (series) mainly by Argentee (&others)

    Locked to AO3 users!
    The Star Wars series that finally convinced me that I have to get an AO3 account & not just read the publicly available stories.
    
    Originally, I did not think I would enjoy reading SI/OC centric stories for the SW fandom... especially not one where the main character is from Earth (where SW has been part of the entertainment industry), only for life to intrude and show that it's all real and happened / happening / will happen (?) in a galaxy apparently not so far, far away.
    
    I stand corrected! This is a brilliant series and definitely worth reading.

     

    4) The Desert Storm (series) by Blue_Sunshine

    It's been some time since I read it. (I believe it was still an ongoing series at the time. 😉)
    It made an impression on me and I know I saw it referenced as inspiration by others for their own fics since then.
    
    I can only recommend it to those who - like me, - enjoy Star Wars time-travel fics. I should probably go re-read it myself...

    5) Waking to Another Sky by Vathara

    Another of my favorites by Vathara (although this one is unfortunately discontinued). A crossover between Sword Art Online and Stargate (SG-1).
    
    I found the concept of the AU interesting.
    Probably best for those who have at least passing familiarity with both fandoms.

     

    6) Nightingale (series) by Lalaith_Quetzalli

    Series starting out as mainly Marvel/MCU story focused on the (romantic) relationship of Loki & OFC.
    It slowly branches out as the MCU expanded, picking and choosing what from canon works in the already estabilished world of this AU, as well as adding elements (characters, storylines ect.) from other fandoms (e.g.: other Marvel adaptations such as Xmen; Smallville, BBC Sherlock, James Bond ect.)
    
    Massive series with many spin-off/AU stories that are not strictly part of the main series.

     

    7) Double Agent Vader (series) by Fialleril

    A series which I think greatly impacted the Star Wars fandom, in particular due to the worldbuilding the author did in creating their own Tatooine Slave Culture.
    
    Such an integral part of fanon today, that I remember seeing in someone's author's note that they only just realized / been made aware that the Amavikka (people), Amatakka (language), Ar-Amu, Ekkreth & other parts of Tatooine Slave Culture are actually fan-created content... 😃

     

    8) The Dragon-King's Temple by Kryal

    A delightful crossover between Avatar: The Last Airbender and Stargate (SG-1).
    
    Built up in a way that provides believable expalnation on how a world like A:LTA can exist in SG universe.
    Open-ended in that it leaves to the reader's imagination how the world of A:TLA would react to SG-1 visiting / or maybe how SG-1 would react to visiting the world of A:TLA... (The reverse situation was already shown in the fic 😉)

     

    9) Change of Fate by Vathara

    Another favourite of mine by Vathara, a Sword Art Online and Star Wars crossover set in the SW universe.
    
    The concept of SAO (& it's characters) are kept and then set in the SW universe, just around the Clone Wars.
    The game itself is apparently set in the Old Republic era which quickly become relevant (for the gamers and everyone around them) when the game is cleared... just in time for Order 66. 😅

     

    10) Secret of Frost and Moon by Alaia_Skyhawk

    One of my all time favorites which is unfortunately not uploaded to AO3 in its entirety. However it is finished on ffnet.
    
    The story is built around the idea of how things would change (while major events mostly still remain the same) if Jack Frost retains his memories from before he was reborn...
    
    Building up to the events seen in Rise of the Guardians (2012) and beyond, while working in many details as possible from the Guardians of Childhood books, it's a wholesome story of family, friendship and adventure.
