   I've been writing fanfics for like 7 or 8 years now, so to say I've been on a lot of websites to upload content is an understatement. I used Mibba for the longest time, but then I fell out of all the fandoms they really host and when I fell in to the Markiplier and Jacksepticeye communities, I wanted to write fanfiction so bad but I had nowhere to put it that I genuinely liked, and then I stumbled upon AO3 when a fellow blogger/writer posted a link to one of her pieces. I really loved the layout and everything, so I figured I would give it a shot, and I absolutely love it here! It's been about 4 months or so, I think. I'm really hoping you guys reach the donations you're hoping, and I'm very sorry I have no money to contribute. ):

   I found this thanks to a friend. Been loving it ever since. This place is great! :D

   Used to be on FanFiction.net, currently on Wattpad. Aah. This one I like a bit better then them.

      I've started to feel like copy-paste is all that the communications folks are allowed to do. Does it take word of god to get any actual answers?

      Edit: I mushed up two types of canned replies, sorry. Both sound fake as hell though. For the replies to people's topic responses, at least there's a touch of individualization, that's something... but they could at least change it up with some rotating templates for the rest.

      For the "replies" to people's concerns -- it's like interacting with a 'live chat customer service agent' who you begin to suspect is either a straight up computer or only has numbers they can press to insert the closest phrase to what would fit as a reply... which does not mention a thing that you actually said, let alone address it, and often even has nothing to do with the type of problem at all. Or attempts to gloss over it in a few words and redirect to positives about the company/product/support! And have a great day!

      I'm not at all saying this to pick on the messengers. I assume they have no choice in c/p-ing just as much as those poor chat operators have no choice in picking a set phrase to deliver. It's just bs that this is what's coming from an organization like this. I expect it from, I dunno, Bank of America or Walmart. Not something born from fandom.

   Why did you have a positive depreciation of your machinery and equipment of the exact same amount (USD 3,791.68) in 2013 and 2014? What considerations were made to decide that your machinery and equipment would increase in value, and the exact same value two years in a row? Why are there depreciations in your balance but not in your profit and loss?

   What are your "other current assets" of USD 300? Why is something of such a low value considered an asset? What are your "other long-term assets"? Why were these items not depreciated in 2013 or 2014?

   What are the legal names of your 2 PayPal accounts? Why do you have 2 PayPal accounts? Are you still keeping substantial amounts of money in PayPal?

   What considerations were made to keep the substantial sum of USD 302,355.08 in a checking account and PayPal? Do you believe that this investment has been beneficial to your organization? I can see that you earned UDS 18.18 in interests in 2014, which I personally would not consider a worthwhile benefit.

   I had just learned what shipping was and found a fic rec list for works on ao3. The other sites I had been reading on were nothing compared to ao3 and I was instantly hooked with the amazing filters and just all around fantastic system. Been using it since 2012 and won't stop any time soon.

   My first fanfic fandom was Harry Potter and I was thirteen. I discovered A03 a few years back now i reckon (how long has the site been up?) and it was because someone rec'ed me a mcr fanfic haha. I know mostly read and write Supernatural and Teen Wolf fics

    If I remember correctly, I was searching through websites that recommended fan-fic hosts, and I found someone that mentioned AO3. After my invite had come through, I was quite happy with the site and its features.

    Honestly, I had not heard of this site before. But when me and my writer friends' were facing the deletion of our fanfictions on fanfiction.net back in 2012 (I think), we desparately grasped for straws. Hoping to find a place we could host our writings without the fear of them being deleted. Then one of my friends found AO3 and we ended up high tailing it over to this place with our stories. I was invited by a friend and I moved what I could from ff.net to here. Surprisingly, I found this site more pleasant and convenient to use. I have no regrets coming here either.

    I was aware of AO3 from Fanfiction.net. I have been a member of that website since 2004 and I recall there was some falling out between the people who ran that website and some the authors who submitted works. Some authors said they were coming here and abandonning the other website, though I cant remember which ones at this time, and that's how I became aware of AO3. It was americanjedi's Wee Doctor series that made me a regular visiter.

    I found AO3 a few years ago I think... 2012 maybe? When everyone wa freaking out and moving away from FF.net because things were being deleted. After adultfanfics went down one of my favorite authors, Xazz I think, said she was moving over here. So I followed.

    I saw loads of AO3 links on Tumblr and couldn't resist. Its been almost a year since I was invited and I've now posted almost 10 of my own fics. Most of my friends found it after I was horrified to discover they were using things like wattpad (which is awful) I love it here and hope to keep using it :)

    I started reading fics on some other site but it hurt my eyes to read longer fics there, so when i found a ficrec that was only linked to AO3 i was pleasantly surprised that i could read a 50k fic without needing breaks so i've always stuck around here after that

    The first time I found Ao3 was when I was trying to look for good fanfiction downloaders online.
    FLAG fic disappeared and I was desperatly in need of downloading fanfics.
    A website of top 10 sites to download appeared before me and BAM.
    Ao3 was listed as number two.
    Visited the site and it became my Fan fiction HOME!
    Started to import my fics from FF.net and other sites.
    My account got banned once but it was later brought back thanks to one of the OTW's abuse staff, Sherry Nehmer.

    Archive is something special to me and I'm so glad I discovered it online.
    First work I posted was a crossover fic (Olympian Bladers)
    Got tons of hits on those- WOW.

    I was reading a fanfiction on Tumblr and the writer added a link to this site where she had posted all of her fanfics. This site was actually my first introduction to the fanfic community. Before this, I hadn't realized that there were so many people who were into fanfiction, for so many fandoms!

    My best friend recommended it 4 years ago after I kept complaining that fanfiction.net didn't have enough range... and I wouldn't shut up about McAbby and Johnlock. Haven't looked back since.
    'The Everthere' springs to mind as one of the first fics I read and I thank the writer soooo much for showing me that fanfic isn't just smut!

    I think I found AO3 when I saw a comment by a friend saying that she was waiting for an invitation. I was already interested in fanfics so I signed up for one. it came a couple of days later. Still my favourite website to this day.

    I believe I found the site back when in my Homestuck days; I was following a writer on Tumblr, and she posted her works on the site. I read, and one day, decided to search for the other things, like Zelda and Shakespeare and whatnot. I came to really enjoy this site, and the quality of writing I found(Fanfiction.net had good writers, but never quite as abundant as here). So, I decided to sign up and here I've stayed.

    I couldn't ask for a better site really! Thank you for making it a reality.
