Chapter Text
Leaning on a Sakura tree, Akayo sighed deeply at peace. The Sakodu Decree was abolished and her brother had stopped many Fatui threats. He had proved himself capable so she left everything in his hands. Soon, she’ll be able to be shown in public. Inhaling the sweet smell of the pink blossoms, she slowly drifted to sleep.
“Guess who?” warm calloused hands were placed over her eyes.
“Thoma…” she whined, swatting his hands away. “I was trying to sleep!”
“Apologies, milady.” he smiled good-naturedly, sitting down next to her. She moved closer, leaning on his shoulder.
“Thoma, aren’t we passed formalities?” she sighed, looking into his eyes.
“Right, sorry Akayo, force of habit.” He apologized, looking back.
“So~ When’s the wedding?” asked Ayato, who had appeared out of nowhere. Ayaka stood next to him, chuckling quietly with a fan over her face. They both jumped up in alarm.
“Y-Yato! Don’t scare me like that!” she exclaimed. He just grinned like an idiot as soft snowflakes gently floated down around them.
“Ayaka?” she questioned. She nodded, a faint blush on her cheeks. She looked at the snowflakes in awe before hugging her sister. “I love it.” She whispered.
Suddenly, something cold slid down her back. She looked up to see Ayato smirking, another snowball in hand. Ayaka started to laugh uncontrollably.
“Your reaction was very amusing, Sister.” She said in between laughs.
“Your face was priceless!” Ayato exclaimed.
“You planned this all along, come on Thoma, let’s make him into a snowball.” She grinned.
“But Lady Akayo, I can’t. He is milord after all.” He teased. She tiptoed and gave him a kiss on his nose and replied,
“But I’m your lover, so help me.”
Without an answer, she chased Ayato, leaving Thoma a blushing mess.
