Chapter Text
And shit, Five’s never been more scared than he was in that moment.
His ears were ringing and Allison was yelling at him , strings of curses falling from her lips.
Five forces himself to stand, realizing just how weak his legs were, barely opening his mouth to talk before electing to shut it again.
Of course he was scared. It’s Allison, and her power is peer pressure on steroids! A few simple words mean that Five could end up with a bullet through the skull…and he definitely didn’t want that.
“…I am so sick of you and your holier-than-thou bullshit ! You always think you know better than everyone else around here, when in fact you know jack shit! You know nothing! You’re just torturing us all! We just have to follow you from apocalypse to apocalypse only for you to betray us all ! Your goddamn family , Five! Do you have an ounce of loyalty?!”
“Allison I–”
“SHUT YOUR MOUTH!”
The impact of the rumor made him topple over. He was weak .
It took him a few minutes to realize that he couldn’t talk.
That he couldn’t breathe .
He could hear both Viktor and Sloane yelling at Allison, all to no use. Allion approaches Five, seemingly towering over him, given the height difference as well as the fact Five was on the floor.
“ Don’t move .”
Five could see the sound waves exiting his sister’s mouth, nearly able to feel the moment his eyes glossed over in pure white. And in the same instant, he’s frozen, unable to move, speak, or breathe.
“YOU’RE KILLING HIM!!” Sloane and Viktor yell at once, looking at Five with the most terrified expressions he’s ever seen on a human face.
Alli–
Allison, please!
You’re fucking killing me! Let me go!
Please! I can’t breathe!
A voice in the back of his head makes itself known, even if it was just Five thinking to himself: Maybe that’s the whole point.
“–RYTHING IS YOUR FAULT! YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE FOUR FUCKING HORSEMEN, DON”T YOU, YOU BITCH !”
Five can barely force a cough, feeling his windpipe closing more and more by the second , forced to look at his sister with wide and teary eyes.
And he’s never felt more scared…more trapped , than now. He can hear his heart beating in his ears, and he is fully surprised he isn’t dead yet.
Peer pressure on steroids.
And Five was hyperventilating despite being frozen and barely able to move, let alone breathe.
“–you erased any chance for a happy life, Five! You took everything from me! You killed Claire!”
Five chokes on what little air he has at the mention of his niece’s name.
I never got to meet her…
“You killed my daughter and you made me lose my husband! Not to even mention what you did to Viktor! Your arrogance took away the only proper family your brother ever had! You killed his son , Five! You killed your niece and your nephew, you fucking happy?!”
Tears were falling fast down his cheeks, the words stinging.
“ALLISON THAT’S ENOUGH!” Viktor yells. He can hear his brother’s power.
Just don’t…hit me…
Or do…I don’t care at this point. If this keeps up, I’m dead within the hour.
More like the next ten minutes.
“We had lives before you came along,” Allison says in an eerily calm voice, bending down so she can say the words directly in his ear. “Back in our 2019, and in the sixties too, and what did you do? You took all that away from us. And now, look where we are? We’re fighting the step-siblings from Hell, who you joined.” Allison jabs Five in the chest. “What level of sick do you have to be to betray your own family like that?!”
Five felt his head getting fuzzy, knowing he was running out of oxygen. Klaus had joined in with Sloane, Viktor, and even Ben and Fei , all of them yelling at Allison.
Enough–
It’s enough, okay!
I get it, I’m a shitty brother, just let me go!
“You should have never come back. We were just fine without you.” Allison whispers, voice like venom. Right before Five loses consciousness from lack of oxygen, he hears Allison, crystal clear, say “
We’d all be better off if you killed yourself in the apocalypse.”
