Notes:

Story cycle:
-When writing the fic, I use a random number generator to pick 1 protected for each team. I post the fic.
- You, my lovely audience, vote on the Strawpoll for a character to be the decider.
-I write the next chapter, where I will use my brain to figure out who the decider would most want to eliminate from the show and nominate them. The decider gets a bonus, and the not-decider, while still safe from elimination, gets a punishment.
-The two nominated characters engage in the elimination challenge. I decide who would win, probably by who would do the challenge better, but also what might be funniest.
-The winning team gets to decide if they want their entire team to switch time periods or remain where they are (I wonder what ppl will pick 🤔)
-I use a random number generator to pick the protected again and post them (and the next poll) in the end note for that chapter
-We continue until there are 6 left! Then the rules will be different and I will explain it then.
In the event of any ties, I will use my best judgement to pick what would be the most likely or funniest outcome. If I can’t decide, I will use a random number generator. There will also be a “roll” each week for the chance someone will leave the show for reasons besides being eliminated. Maybe they have a family emergency. Maybe they give up. Maybe they break their leg or drink bad water and have to go to the hospital. Maybe they break a rule and the producers kick ‘em out. I have watched A Lot Of Reality TV and there are many possibilities for this one.
If there ends up being a major imbalance of the teams (like 3 or more difference in people), the producers will adjust it to be more fair. The producers might also change rules, for ratings-related reasons. I have Some Ideas as to where this will go, but also I want the chance of things to be out of my hands and I have to think on my feet lol.

CANON SHOW RULES:
-PG-13 behavior (pretend the swears are being bleeped)
-No law breaking (no murder, no stealing, no assaulting each other)
-You have to follow the rules of a challenge. If you don’t follow them, you can be eliminated from the challenge.
-Only the producers can determine if a challenge must continue or stop
-A team can forfeit a challenge, but it has to be unanimous
-You can’t vote to put yourself up for elimination. You can’t pick someone whose immune, either
-Refusing to vote/chose means you will be eliminated
Since breaking the rules leads to an elimination, characters won’t do it unless it’s a “bonus elimination” week. Otherwise assume all characters are following the rules.
