Chapter Text
There it was.
The store. The clock in the cab said it was around 5pm and on the way it started raining. I looked up and down the street, empty. I looked in the windows only to see furniture and dust. The door was closed but after looking around I found another door off to the side with a green doorbell. I stared at the doorbell for what seemed like forever standing in the rain completely soaked. Before I could overthink my finger pressed it. I hoped for a moment that no one was here, but then the door opened.
Theo.
We stared at each other and all I could think was Ебена мать like a broken record. It was quick and I don’t remember how, but he was in my arms hugging me. All I could do was hug back and it felt like home. I don’t know how long we stood like that in the rain, but it was long enough for a tall and greying man to come to the door and ask if everything was ok. Theo pulled back and answered with a yes then “Boris meet Hobart and Hobart meet Boris.” Hobart put out a hand for me to shake saying “So this is the Boris I hear a lot about.” I shaked his hand but was looking at Theo who looked caught off guard by Hobart’s comment.
Walking inside was like walking into another world. Theo pulled me around and showed me everything. He asked how long I’m staying even though we both knew the answer. That was the last piece; I didn't answer, but just pulled him in for a kiss. A memory came back that I somehow overlooked or forgotten and it was the night Theo left. I loved Theo and somehow it took all this time to truly acknowledge it. The smile on his face as we pulled away said it all.
