Sunny looked at him with a blank face, leaving Kel confused
'What?'–asked the tall boy,not really understanding what the face meant.
Sunny only kept staring at him like that,Kel even swore he felt shivers running down his spine.
'Why?'–Sunny finally said, breaking eye contact.Kel felt relieved
'Uh..because like I said,we could see if its true or not-'– Kel replied, looking at other direction awkwardly,
'-And we also could see who's the bravest!'–He finished,looking back at the short boy,smiling
'Then why not inviting Hero with Basil and Aubrey?'– questioned Sunny again, tilting his head
'Aubrey is a girl'–Kel huffed,crossing his arms
'and Basil...'–He continue,only to stop for a bit to think.
'And Basil is a plant'–Sunny suddenly said.Kel bursted laughing,but quickly stopped,
'Sunny!Don't say like that!'–Kel chuckled quietly,slightly hitting the shoulder of the other boy,who's only rolled eyes and then smiled
And once again,there were silence
'So,what still about my idea,are you in?'–And once again,the silence broke Kel,Sunny stayed silent for a bit,before he nodded with a smile.
Kel cheered,throwing hands in air with 'Woo!'
'Also,is this fine to go to that house tomorrow in the morning and maybe even have a sleepover?'–He then suddenly asked
Sunny only nodded without really thinking about it
'Super!'
The next day,the next morning
It was a morning with a clear sky and windless weather,its a perfect day for a good picnic with a good friends.
Sunny was walking down the street,now in some black hoodie and long grey pants,holding a backpack,he was heading to the park,where Kel would wait for him.
When Sunny reached the park,in distance where a pathway, would lead to a lake in the forest,were seen two tall figures.Sunny raised eyebrows.-Huh,that weird, aren't Kel was supposed to be alone?-
Approaching the figures,the pale boy can now inspect them more.The one,that was a little shorter then other,Sunny quickly recognised as Kel,but now in black jacket and with an orange bag..But other..Oh.It was Kel's brother–Henry,or,as everyone calls him,Hero.The young adult was wearing a dark blue sweater with black ripped jeans,on his messy hair were a hairclip of a bright red rose,and he also had some sort of a backpack,that looked light.He looked quite tired..
Sunny,who came up to them,now were standing there,confused.Luckily Kel noticed him,and did a little wave with his arm.
'Oh,hey Sunny!'–He nervously laughed,while Hero only sighed and mumbled something..The short boy only looked at both of them questionably.Kel sighed:
'Hero caught that I was going somewhere with a bag,and asked where I was about to go...' He started walking towards the patch.Hero followed his brother,Sunny looked at him,surprised,but followed them
'And well..I accidentally told him that I were heading to this old house...and then convinced him to join us'–Kel embarrassedly looked down and chuckled.Sunny only looked at him with a unsurprised expression.
'Why are you wanted to go here in the first place?'–Hero asked
'It would be fun!And is not like there would be anything dangerous!There would be only dust,some old furniture..'–Kel said
'Spiders..'–Added Sunny,frowning.Hero shivered at this words
'Ugh..Spiders...Why did I agreed to come with you?..'–He said
'Well,because you can't say no to your cool brother-'–Kel smiled,winking.
'-And like I said,you can watch over us,so you won't be worried about us!'–He continued
The rest of the walk was mostly silent and awkward,with some random talk and trying in avoiding barriers that were scattered across the path.
Suddenly,the tan boy,stopped,turning around,interrupting the others walking.Sunny tilted his head and then looking ahead, trying to know the reason of a sudden stopping.Hero was already looking ahead,knowing the reason,and then sighing.
'And we are here!'–Announced Kel proudly smiling.
