Yuuei sent reinforcements to assist the Chthonian System in the clean-up of the war, offering them resources, volunteers and any other help that they would take. Yuuei was arresting all of Shigaraki’s followers that had been threatening the system. The Hyperthermophiles were hesitant at first about the strangers, but, with the comforting words of their prince, they accepted the help and were grateful for the assistance. Better than tossing all of the enemy warriors into a volcano.
Katsuki spent a good couple of hours with his father, telling him about all the events that had happened since he left the planet and everything that he had learned along the way. He mentioned Eijirou a few times before his father asked him about the young man he was speaking of. Katsuki smiled fondly at the thought of his golem. “He pledged his love for me and I for him. He plans on spending the rest of his days with me and I look forward to the adventures that we are destined to go on.” His father smiled fondly at his child, telling him that he was happy that Katsuki had found a partner to spend his time with. Masaru had feared that Katsuki would never find a mate, but it seemed that Katsuki was more able now than he was in all the centuries he had spent on their planet. Maybe the universe wasn’t as bad as they thought before. Maybe it was time to go back and participate in the goings-on in the galaxy around them.
As Katsuki and Masaru finished up their conversation, Mitsuki walked in, telling Katsuki that he had company that was requesting to see him. Katsuki asked who it was and she claimed that it was a group of young ones from Yuuei. The young prince agreed to see them.
The three Bakugous sat on their thrones at the end of the room as the Yuuei group walked in. All three of them dressed in royal robes, all of them regal and slightly revealing, but comfortable in the current heat of the planet. Katsuki felt better being back in his own home. He wondered if Eijirou would stay here with him or if Katsuki would travel back to Yuuei and remain there. He would need to speak to his love before he made a decision.
Walking into the throne room was the group from Yuuei; Deku, Shouto, Endeavor, Denki and Eijirou. Smiling specifically at the golem, Katsuki held his arms out, waiting for Eijirou to come into his embrace, which his love immediately did, nearly sprinting to Katsuki throne to kneel at his feet and fall into his prince’s warmth. Katsuki’s white glow warmed Eijirou’s body, making his glow red once more. “My love.” Katsuki whispered.
“My prince.” Eijirou whispered in return before he looked up at Katsuki from his place on the ground. “You’ve changed.” He whispered, running his large hands over Katsuki’s arms and chest. “Why are you like this?” He asked, tilting his head slightly.
Katsuki smiled. “I was absorbed into the sun and now I have ascended.” Katsuki stated simply as he watched Eijirou put all the pieces together.
“Lady Momo was right. You’re a god now.” He whispered in awe at his love. “I’m glad that you are safe now. I was worried, but I knew that you would be triumphant.”
Katsuki smiled at his golem. “Of course I was.” He paused a moment before he looked up at the rest of the group who were still in awe at the prince’s newly found godhood. “What can I do for you?” He asked them, making them cease their amazement.
Deku jumped at Katsuki’s booming voice addressing them. “K-Kacchan, are you staying here or are you coming back to Yuuei with us?” He asked briefly, his sentence growing quieter as he went on. Katsuki thought about the question before he looked down at the golem in his lap.
Eijirou looked up at his prince before smiling. “I’ll follow you wherever you decide to go.” Katsuki nodded, looking up at his parents.
Masaru smiled at Katsuki. “It is your decision. You are capable of making it, son.”
Katsuki thought about it some more. “I’ll go back to Yuuei.” He stated. “I want to make sure that Shigaraki is imprisoned first and foremost. I might also return to the Taman Negara system to speak to Lady Momo. We shall see what happens after that. Maybe then, I will return home.” He looked down at Eijirou. “Will you follow me?” He asked his golem.
Eijirou smiled excitedly at his prince. “To the edge of the galaxy, my love.”
The Yuuei freighter went back through the black void and went straight back to its home planet. When it landed, several things were happening at once. A group of engineers were loading up the section of Yuuei to transport it back to its place on the planet’s surface. Several medical professionals were rushing in to take the injured to the hospital ward. The group that Katsuki was more concerned about were the soldiers coming in to escort the capsule that held Shigaraki. The fire prince, accompanied by the others that had come with him, followed the soldiers out of the freighter and they boarded another smaller ship. They strapped the capsule into the ship and quickly launched back off of the planet, immediately heading to the outer planets of the galaxy.
When they reached their destination, Endeavor explained that the site was called Tartarus, a planetary prison for extremely dangerous forces to be imprisoned far away from any civilizations. They would not be able to accompany the group into the prison, but they could watch the process from the surveillance room. Katsuki sat in with the surveillance crew as the soldiers escorted Shigaraki to the holding cell that he would remain in for the rest of his days. The whole process took an hour of switching from camera to camera, watching the group march through the halls, but after they strapped him into a second capsule and sealed the door shut, Katsuki was satisfied, knowing that he would not escape from this prison. All of Shigaraki’s followers were also placed in the prison, far away from each other to prevent any escape plots to occur.
After the process of sealing Shigaraki away, Katsuki went back to Yuuei to request entry to Taman Negara from Fatgum who was excited to see Katsuki in his new form. He quickly agreed to take Katsuki and Eijirou to the forest planet and they set off within the hour. During that hour, Eijirou wrestled around with Tetsu for a bit, happy to be with his friend once again. After their ship was ready, Fatgum, Katsuki and Eijirou went to the Taman Negara system to speak to Lady Momo once again.
After their descent into the inner sanctums of the planet, Katsuki found himself in the familiar realm of Lady Momo, her large presence obviously excited to see Katsuki.
“Sir Fatgum, wonderful to see you again and I see you have brought me Sir Katsuki and his golem.” She shuffled in her seat beneath the group, pulling an arm out to beckon to Katsuki. “Come, allow me to see you.” Katsuki nodded, walking forward to Lady Momo. She leaned down to place her face right near the fiery prince, wanting to take him in closely. “How interesting. With your naturally elevated temperature, you were able to receive symbiosis with the sun and now you are one with its power. How wonderful.” Lady Momo straightened up in her seat and continued speaking in another language as if she was explaining the process to another being that they couldn’t see… or she was just talking to herself about the whole thing.
Fatgum leaned over to whisper in Katsuki’s ear. “She’s speaking to Shouji through the roots around the room.” Katsuki looked up to find there were indeed roots along the surface of the room. “She’s speaking an ancient language that most of the gods speak. It might take a while to learn, but Lady Momo or Shouji would be willing to teach you. Maybe even Tokoyami if he isn’t too busy tending to Shouji.” Katsuki nodded, stating that he would have to come back for lessons in that case. Fatgum nodded as well. “Considering your new status, you might even get a free pass to come here whenever you want, if we get all the paperwork done. Then you don’t have to wait for me to be free to bring you guys here. It’ll take a bit of convincing to let Eijirou join you as well, but I’m certain that I can put in a good word for both of you here.” Katsuki gave Fatgum his thanks.
Lady Momo turned back to the group before her. “I apologize for the interruption.” She leaned back down. “You wish to learn the language of the gods?” She asked quietly. Katsuki nodded, making Lady Momo smile. “It would be an honor to teach you. Though, I sense that you have much that you need to do before you decide to start dedicating your time to learning.”
Katsuki nodded. “Yeah. I want to have a portal creator made by Mei Hatsumi to quickly bring me back to my home system in case I get homesick. I’m planning on having my family assist me by providing me with a ship or at least, the currency to purchase a ship. After that, my family mentioned that they wanted me to be an ambassador for the Chthonian system. I’m going to be traveling to different planets to represent our civilization, perhaps help set up trade routes or other stuff that my parents want me to do.”
Lady Momo nodded. “You are more than welcome to take your time with your responsibilities. I do not plan on leaving anytime soon, though it would be nice to get out once more now that the threat of Shigaraki and the dark forces are sealed away.” She smiled down at the group. “I appreciate your presence. It is a pleasant thought to know that I was at the forefront of your mind.”
Katsuki slightly bowed towards the goddess. “It was your words that gave me the strength I needed to fully reach my potential. Now, I just need to harness this power of mine and refine it to help the galaxy.”
Lady Momo bowed her head to Katsuki in return. “I am glad to be of comfort. I wish you luck on your adventures. I look forward to seeing you again.”
“And I you, Lady Momo.”
The goddess smiled once more at Katsuki. “Until we meet again, Sir Katsuki.”
After leaving the planet, Katsuki began preparations with Mei to harness the abilities of the teleporter to install into a cannon to fire a portal with an entered destination programmed into it. It took almost a month for the genius to figure out the programming and the statistics of the whole project, but she did it, happily. Several tests later, ensuring that no harm would come to any ship or any personnel on said ships, Katsuki made his way back to his home planet with Eijirou on a ship all his own. Eijirou was happy to join Katsuki on his next couple of adventures. They traveled to the Chthonian system to stay with Katsuki’s royal family, getting information about their plans and what they would be required to do as ambassadors for their system.
Katsuki was excited to travel the universe. It was like he was a child again. That was all he wanted to do when he was in his early hundreds and now he had the perfect opportunity to. He was also excited to travel with his love. While they rested and restocked on his planet, they planned their first voyage, all while Katsuki received several hints to bring Eijirou officially into the Bakugou family, but Katsuki planned on waiting. They had only recently pledged their hearts to each other. Katsuki wanted to make the moment special and the time would come sometime in the future. Maybe after the first hundred voyages or so.
As Katsuki finished the final preparations for their maiden voyage, the price turned to his golem. “Are you ready?” He asked softly, running a hand down the larger man’s arm.
Eijirou smiled down at his god. “I’m ready to be among the stars, my love.”
Prince Katsuki and his golem, Eijirou, set off with their crew on their adventure to the edges of the universe and everywhere in between. Their love consistently burned like the sun that resided within Katsuki. Everything was perfect and for the first time in a long time, Katsuki was happy.
