EPILOGUE aka what book 2 would be.

Hey so you know that “royal line end” bit? Yeah, well, becoming an undead creature sure does make it hard to get knocked up huh? Guess Sonia and Byakuya didn’t actually have to get married! And the “if a ruler dies then all their people die” thing is not related to the Curse, so Wildiling is still fucked! Oopsie woopsie we did a fucky wucky because we’re in love! Also Gundham is gonna show up any day now and there’s Evil Ancient Creatures on Lightlark now but Sonia can talk to them ‘cause Wildling bs. But they tempt her with Nightshade magic, which she can access cause Byakuya…will she get her revenge on Gundham or something…is Celeste still kinda evi lin the background…what’s Hajime up to…Great mysteries that I will never write.

I feel like I fixed most of the major problems in the source material by:
- making up new explanations for things;
- creating explanations when there was none before;
- altering the order/timing of information;
- make it so there is a diegetic reason for everyone to know shit but the mc doesn’t
- I pretend the info just never happened, so it’s not in here lol
Also if you do read the book cause of this, do be aware the bestie is named celeste. I asked my sister who’d be who and she said celeste Danganronpa for Cleo Moonling and Junko or Kaede or Tsumugi for celeste starling and I decoded to ignore that bit because I’m silly I love genocide jill. She deserves to do more murders. also there is like no on screen romance shit for the mc and the Sunling so the oh theyre in love reveal was so fucking bizarre there was NOTHING
theres also a sort of sex scene in the source material so I have spared you from seeing that here.

ALSO LIGHTLARK FANDOM: hi this is probably the only thing I’m ever going to do. you are absolutely allowed to (encouraged, even!) to take whatever fucking fixes or elements or anything from this and use it in your own Lightlark stuff. I think it would be funny if we crowdsourced a better version of the novel. I want to see how other people fix the problems. If you do do that, just let me know when you post a thing cause I’d want to check it out.
