Ringo ran, she didn’t know where to, all she knew was that she wanted to get away from Tee. Her feet were hurting and her makeup was beginning to run, but she didn’t care. Eventually, she found a small grouping of trees, sat under one, and began sobbing.
She looked like a complete and utter fool, she wasn’t worthy of wearing this dress, and she certainly wasn’t worthy of Tee. She wasn’t sure how long she was there until she heard a familiar voice.
“R-Ringo!”
Oh great, Tee had found her, what she wouldn’t do to just up and disappear right now.
“Are you ok, that fall looked rather bad,” said Tee as he got closer to comfort her, this helped to calm Ringo quite a bit.
“I-I’m fine, I’m not bruised or anything.” Ringo sighed, “I can see why you’re so embarrassed by me”
“W-what,” Tee was very taken aback, “Is that why you’re wearing that outfit?”
Ringo sighed, looks like the cat was out of the bag. “Yeah, I figured you’d prefer me to be fancier, that's why I’m dressed like this”
Tee still wasn’t entirely sure what to say, “Why would you ever think that?“
“Well we mostly seem to go on dates on earth, and when we don’t, we always stay on the Tetra.”
“Ah well, truth be told, planet travel is a rather long and hectic process, there’s a lot of paperwork involved. We certainly could do that, but it’d take a while…”
“Oh, but what about the royal events you go to, surely one of them allows you to bring a guest?”
“Royal events,” asked Tee, raising an eyebrow.
“Well you know….like special dances and other events,” replied Ringo, going somewhat silent
Tee Chuckled. “I think you’ve been reading a few too many books, Ringo. My role as the Tetris King mostly involves me patrolling the various zones and making sure that nothing out of the ordinary is happening, rarely am I ever not on the ship.” The boy paused for a moment. “However, if you are interested in dancing, I could talk to Ai about setting up something in the playroom, but only if I’m able to dance with the actual Ringo,” he smiled as put out a hand.
Ringo smiled and held onto it as he helped her back onto to her feet. “Well, if it's the actual Ringo you want…” Ringo took her high heels off and tossed them into a tree, “last one back to my house is a rotten apple!”
“Hey get back here,” laughed Tee as he chased after her.
