Sano Manjiro was a well known kid in his school. He's an 8 year old kid with great strength and abilities that a normal 2nd graders shouldn't be having. Despite his well being he's still a child who wants to play with friends until sunset like any other normal grade schoolers.
Though his so called fun is not really normal. Like I said, Sano Manjiro is a kid with great strength and abilities. Therefore, his type of fun involves using his abnormal strength.
That is fighting other kids.
Yep that's right. Fighting other kids- to put it simply beating them up was his type of fun.
He was a delinquent. He finds fun in beating up kids who ever messes with him. He's playful and mischievous but when getting into his bad side...you might want to consider your life decisions.
But he really doesn't cause trouble that much in his school. Sure he'd get his older bro called in the principal's office often but not that much. He was a quiet kid whenever he's in school specially in classes. He would just sit still staring at the window not really paying attention to the teacher's discussions.
Though of course he has friends. And his friends were surely similarly like him.
Baji Keisuke.
He's a literal son of a devil. A very feral kid-- He likes beating kids weather it was his age or 2 years older than him. Hell even middle schoolers.
He doesn't care who it is when they step on his and Manjiro's territory. Aka their playground.
He's that type of kid who would cause big troubles in school every second. He would go home with scraped knee or elbow, bloodied knuckles, with a feral grin on his face. He was even proud of it.
His mother would constantly nag and scold him for getting and picking fights every single day. Though the boy would just brush it off saying 'it's fine~' or 'stop worrying about it'.
Well despite him being a literal trouble maker who would constantly get his mother called in the principal's office- he loves his mother more than anyone.
He still has a soft spot despite being a reckless and feral kid who would always wear a toothy grin. But that's only when he's with his mother and he's friends.
Both Manjiro and Keisuke would often be seen playing or picking fights to kids who steps in their turf in the playground. Could be also always seen hanging out together weather it was in the school or in the playground. Perks of being best buddies.
They would go to different types of adventures. Some includes fire, some includes messing up with adults, and some even involves with the police. Not in a bad way though. They were just almost got caught by the cops because apparently, they tried entering a dangerous looking building and planned on making it they're secret base. It was a coincidence that a cop had the building on patrol because it was a place where an accident that had recently occurred. It was Baji's idea. Apparently.
....just don't ask. He's Baji, that's literally the only sole reason.
Manjirou's brother- Shinichiro didn't know what to do with the two boys. They were a headache to take care of. He both loves them as his younger brothers (including Baji) but sometimes there recklessness can be a real pain in the ass. He was very thankful- real thankful that the cop was able to stop them before another unfortunate accident happened that it would happen to the both of them.
Their stupidity can bring them to the death's door for Pete's sake! He fears that the both of them would travel to the heaven earlier than him. He should stop thinking about it, he doesn't want to jinx himself.
Poor man.
The daily trouble that this poor man would would take care of is when his brother would come home before sunset with few cuts and bruises and bloodied knuckles, as well as his dirtied shoes.
He already treated this daily situation as normal. He really couldn't scold the younger since he was practically leading a gang himself.
The man could only sigh. The kids has a lot of things ahead them. He already knew how his brother liked violence. He actually already noticed 2 years ago.
Manjirou was 6 when Shinichiro noticed how his brother would often watch action movies that had brutal violence in it. Of course he would not pay much attention to it since it was also one of the things that boys likes.
Though a little part of him would worry since he was still just 6 years old and was already liking violence. He would often see his brother's excitement when Manjirou would watch the fighting scenes unfold and would try to imitate their moves.
Shinichiro contemplates whether if he should tell his brother that there are somethings that weren't supposed to be watched by a 6 year old kid.
Though he really didn't want to be like that to his brother. He wanted him to feel free about the things he likes. He guesses that it's just his elder brother's instincts acting up.
So that's why he lets Manjirou be for a little while and observe him for now. He just hopes that his brother would still have it in his mind that morals are still important no matter what the situation is.
Safe to say his brother had still had morals. And he was quite proud of it.
"Shin your brother is weird." Wakasa bluntly said switching the lollipop in his mouth from left to right.
"...that's a little bit rude saying that straight to my face don't you think Waka?"
"Would you rather me saying it behind your back?"
"..."
"That's what I thought."
"...Manjiro isn't weird"
"Then can you explain what exactly he is doing?" Wakasa pointed his finger to his younger brother. Shinichiro couldn't argue back to his friend anymore. It hurts to admit it but right now Wakasa was right. And he can feel a head ache coming when he can already feel his friend giving him the 'see-i-was-right' smirk that he oh so wanted to erase from his face.
Usually his brother by now would be playing outside with Baji doing God knows what again but instead his brother is being unually quiet doing weird things.
Weird things like this.
Manjiro was currently on the dining table doing absolutely nothing. Not touching the tart on his plate and instead staring at the blueberry that was hanging by the tips of his two fingers that was supposedly placed on the middle of the tart that was also supposedly his younger brother should be eating right about now.
Shinichiro pinched the bridge of his nose. Nope, he really couldn't protect Manjiro on this one.
"Leave him be. That's how kids act sometimes" Takeomi lazily muttered.
"Does your siblings act like that too Omi?"
Takeomi gave Shinichiro a worn out face while blowing a smoke from his cancer stick. "All the time man. Specially Senju. She may be a girl but I just can't keep up with her antics...she acts boyish too"
"That's because her older siblings are boys. Took after the things boys like instead of what normal girls her age like"
"Shut up."
Shinichiro grumbled. These dudes weren't of any help to the situation at all. But he suppose Takeomi might be right, Manjiro is a kid. Who knows what kind of thoughts kids these days have in their mind?
If only he knows how lovestruck his brother has gotten to a certain kid.
